Hmmm... interesting to see how it mixes in English words - any other languages used in the main vocabulary, or is it primarily the result of long-term American occupation earlier in the century?

It's a c tually a mixture of Spanish, English and the local dialect... Yeah, it had a lot of foreign influence... sweatdrop My friend over there uses more English than necessary though. She could have used the dialect substitutes for some English but opted not to. It's the language hybrid most Filipino and English teachers hate: Taglish. An annoying mixture of the dialect and English... sweatdrop
