Liberty frowned a little and she looked terrified. "...that's horrible!"

A few weeks passed, and though it seemed like it was forever, Ryo came back, this time, with family. The Evergreen Hououza landed on, followed by a sphere of wind, which contained four creatures, including two disgruntled Hououza, Natu and another, a marine/navy-blue one, Takato. The other figures were two Dragons, Metrid and Skybolt. Everett had flown alongside Ryo. Riddle landed beside the four who couldn't fly, made sure they were alright, then turned to Ryo. "Alright, I'm off to see what's new, are you sure you're going to be fine? That man is still out there, and we don't know if he's in contact with the RubbaRogos." "Yes Riddle, don't worry, we'll be fine." With a twitch of his silver-blue tail, Riddle was off. Ryo turned to Everett. "Find Raven and Hikaro and deliver those messages." Everett hooted and took off, towards Hikaro's house.

No one was home in the Hikaro and Haku residence, the house was bare, a ghost of the house it formerly was. It wouldn't be that way for long though, as everyone was returning home from an extended trip away from home. Hikaro and Haku drifted into the park, glancing around. It had been so long since they last visited here, who was around?

Ryo took a look around, and tried to see if anything had changed before since he'd left. Takato convinced Natu to swing with him, and they took off to the swingset. Ryo looked down at the ground. He missed it here, and he was only able to stay here for a while, until he had to go back to Riverview.
Everett decreased his altitude and landed on the roof of Hikaro's home. He hopped down to the door and knocked on it with his beak, and left a message, then flew off again.

Hikaro spotted two hououza on the swing sets, and grasping Haku's hand in his own, fluttered down to before them. Natu, he recognized one as being the mute hououza who communicated with a chalkboard. The other...was unknown to him. Where was Ryo? Where was Everett and Riddle? Hikaro smiled, a bright sunny grin at the two hououza. "Hello!" He said, Haku glanced at them and gave a shy wave. "Salutations." The way-too-smart-for-his-own-good Hououza said, digging one foot into the dirt. Why the sudden shyness?

Natu stopped swinging and pulled out his chalkboard from the sack around his back. He grabbed the chalk, which was attached to a string, and wrote "Hello Hikaro and Haku."
Takato liked to swing, but he had a problem with stopping. His legs couldn't reach the ground. So he pushed himself farther into the air and jumped, catching some wind in his wings and glided to the ground below. Then he turned around. "H-hi..."
Natu wrote below his greeting that that was Takato, a new Hououza that Riddle had recently adopted. He could use magic, but not much. He was still a child and Riddle was training him.
Ryo turned back to check on Natu and Takato. Though he was sure that Natu would try to protect Takato if any harm came along, he mustn't make too many predictions. He pushed a few branches back from the pine tree that grew to the right of him and saw his friends. "Hikaro!"

Carl walked slowly among the fallen leaves, hands in his pokets. He looked up at the clouds and groaned. He was feeling a bit down since Gwena had started drawing all the time, he couldn't believe he actually missed her... He stopped and listened. He could make up some words among the rustling of the leaves. He went in that direction, hoping to meet someone.

(( I seem to get that reaction a lot xd ))
Shiro paused, listening to the footsteps as they came closer. The slow pace reminded her of a waltz, though lately, everything reminded her of music. As she spotted the blonde boy, she yanked herself up onto a low branch, kicking her feet in the crisp air, "Hello there!"

Carl looked up and saw the girl. He suppressed the urge of groaning loudly - girls were so unreliable! He decided to give her the benefit of doubt for the moment, and just said "Hi, I'm Carl! What's your name?"

Tossing her hair back behind her outspread wings, Shiro leaned down, holding her hand out to the child in what appeared to be a friendly invitation for a handshake. She did after all, remember some of what Kyuu had taught her when she was younger, "It's nice to meet you Carl, my name's Shiro and this is.. Well, I'm Shiro, my brothers are usually with me."

Kara lay on her stomach in the grass, quietly ripping out random emerald blades and tossing them aside. One hand was propped up by an elbow, and in it rested her head. The delicate features of her soft peach-colored skin gave off a vague, radiant glow in the light of the setting sun. Wondering vaguely if anyone else was around, she parted her pink lips to sing part of one of her favorite songs:
"Children of the Moon, pay no attention to the writing on the wall The words seem empty 'cause there's nothing there at all We let the wise men beat the drums too soon We were just children of the moon None to turn to Nowhere to run to even if we could..."

Carl hesitated for a while, then took the hand and shook it lightly. "Nice name..." he mumbled, wishing he'd met her brother instead. He racked his brain for some small talk. "Uh... are you from around here? I've never seen you around," he said, and then realized he was the only one who never went into the park, but too late.

She looked thoughtful for a moment, catching a faint noise a little ways away. For the moment though, she ignored it, smoothing out her skirt, "Well, my twin Kuroi and I live in Maseki village with our older brother Kyuu, but I don't know if that's where we're from." She would have added that they were found in the forest, that might have said something about her apparent love of the area, but she didn't think it was too important. And now, hearing the noise again, she glanced off to the right, "Do you hear that?"
