Naida hadn't forgotten of her youngest daughter, and saw her go off to be with Mikhail who'd be steadily avoiding Aquos since he'd grown. She took a moment to congratulate Nimbus on his new mate and pride, but turned to look to Karounos, the worry evident, as she motioned him a few steps away to talk privately. "Karounos...I'm worried about our oldest cubs. Yukio is doing well, according to Samara, and Sienna has issues of her own with which she's dealing very nicely, but...Nomis...she grown so quiet, we rarely see her around anymore, and it's really getting to me. I just...don't know what to do. I don't want her to think that we don't love her at all, or that we love her any less with more cubs around. I don't want any of our cubs to think that or feel that way. I fear that I've failed my children as a mother, and I don't know what to do." Her head hung low as she finally admitted what was bothering her the most these last few months. "I just...don't know what to do anymore."
Sienna did finally calm down, and sat panting between Aquos's front paws. "I hope things will be better now, everyone will be happier. Maybe Mama will let us visit Nimbus and Sky and see her cubs! That'd be cool!" She glanced over at her mother and father, who'd taken a few steps away, and frowned when she saw her mother's head bowed in worry, and wondered why.

Karounos nuzzled his mate, "Yer not a bad mother at all... I don' think Yukio, Sienna an' Nomis will feel unloved - though we c'n take extra care teh make sure that they don't They're not kits anymore... I'm sure they'll understan'." He then glanced to Nomis and Mikhail, "An' I had worried of Nomis as well, but it seems that she an' Mikhail are becomin' fast friends... I don' think there's any reason teh worry about her... She jus' prefers to be alone..." It pained ihm that he spent so little time with his youngest daughter - they used to go on excursions often. But she was growing up and quieting down - even secluding herself - and he rarely saw her at all.

Adia pulled back away from Nimbus and forced a smile onto her face. She wasn't going to do anything to keep Nimbus here when she knew where he wanted to be. "Nimbus you're my first baby to leave me. I'm going to cry but I'm happy for you. I want you to be where you are happiest." She said forcing her tears down. She'd wait till he was on his way to where he wanted to be to cuddle up to Santos and release her tears.
Amador still did not want to meet his fathers gaze but he did. Ama's expression was completely sad and sullen even as he saw the love in his fathers eyes. "But I heard, I saw it. I made you mad." Ama almost seemed emo in the way he was acting.

Santos shook his head. "Everyone gets mad every once in a while. You just happened to tumble in at a bad time. I'm not mad anymore," he pulled him close again, into a loving embrace. "I love you Ama," he licked the top of his head softly.
Razi stumbled out of his mother's arms and into Nimbus'. "I don't want you to go! Don't leave Bubba!" he looked up and him with sad cubbish eyes, streaming tears.
Nimbus licked his brother's nose and wrapped his paws around him. "I'm not leaving forever Raz! I'll be back to check on everyone! And you can come visit me and your Neices or Nephews any time! There'll be plenty of chance to meet new friends when you visit too!" she nuzzled the top of Razi's head and waited for him to calm dawn.
Razi nod, trying to stop his tears. He could visit his brother often.. and there would be lots of new friends he could make with a new pride. "I.. I guess it's alright.." he leaned into his brother's nuzzle and then let him go, curling up by Adia.
With that Nimbus nodded, licking Adia and Santos both on the cheek. He turned and headed off in a steady run towards the border, towards his new life. The tears streamed heavily now, but they were tears of joy. He would always have a home here.

Adia waited till Nimbus was nothing but a dot in the horizon before she let her tears trully fall down her cheeks. He wasn't a cub anymore but oh how she wanted back the baby that had first warmed her heart.
Amador licked Santos' chin. "I love you too daddy." He replied before wiggling out of Santos' grip and climbing up to lay on his neck and nuzzle himself into his soft black mane.

Aquos saw how everyone had their own problems to deal with. As much as he wanted to solve each one of them to make everyone happy, he knew there was nothing he could do. He gave Santos a quick bow and mouthed that he was going off to explore outside the pride lands for a bit and he'd be back later. He's urge to help everyone would have droven him nuts so getting away for a little bit would be the best for all. He figured by the time he got back everything would have cooled off. In a light trotte, he headed out.

As Floria awoke from yet another long afternoon nap under the sun she perked her head up just intime to see Nimbus running past. She always missed so much when she was outside napping. Figuring she should probably go back to the cave, she stretched and took her time doing so, playing with every moving object along the way. Once she got into the cave she had remembered Nimbus.
"Where'd.. Where'd Nimbus go?" She asked with innocent curiosity.

Arsenic chuckled as his little sister entered the cave. "Nice of you to join the party Floria!" he ruffles her hair a little and let the rest of the family explain. He was not getting into this one.
Santos glanced at Floria, then at Adia. Oh boy... He was going to have to explain this to Floria.. and then to Daveigh, which he absolutely dreaded. "Well..."
Razi burst in at this point. "Bubba left.." he sniffled. He was curled up by his mothers paws, tail tip touching his nose.
Santos sighed and nodded. "Nimbus left to start his own pride and family. He's going to have a pride next to ours, with Sky and his soon to be born cubs," he frowned, bracing himself for whatever reaction this one might have.

After shaking her hair back to how she liked it Floria sat down and thought about it. She expected Nimbus to just be going off to play. Not leaving the family, which is what she took it as. But he was still going to be close... "Hmm.." She said as each new thought popped into her brain, her head cocked a new angle. Digesting each one of Santos' statements at a time until she got to the last. "More cubs!! Aw I want to go see the cubbies when they're born Daddy!" She said excitedly then looked to her brother confused. "Why so gloomy? You don't want more little cute cubbies around?" Did she miss something? This sounded fun! More little cute cubbies!

Razi shook his head. "They're not gunna be around here! They're gunna be with Nimbus.." sometimes he swore his sister could be such an idiot. But he loved her anyway.

Floria gave Razi a look as if he was clearly the stupid one. "There isn't that far. Daddy said so. And we can go visit there, duh..." She shok her head and looked up at her mother and then to her father, waiting for one of them to say she was right and her brother was being over dramatic.

Santos nodded at Floria's words but then gave her a serious look. "It's still a pretty long ways. About a days run. I do not want you to head over there alone. Am I clear Floria?" his voice held a bit of a warning in it, knowing she would probably attempt it if he didn't enforce that rule hard enough.
Razi looked up at his father. "So we can't go over there unless one of the adult take us?! That's not fair!" his voice lost the shakey sadness and became normal again with his complaint.

Adia let Santos handle little Floria's questions. She was slowly recovering from her emotional moment. She could tell by Santos' expression he wasn't looking forward to telling Daveigh of the new news. Floria took it surprisingly well which was good but Daveigh now that girl could be a total emo when she wanted to be. At Floria's glance between her and Santos she looked to Santos. She wasn't siding between her cubs anymore. She'd had enough siding between them with Arsenic and Daveigh. It was Santos' turn.
Amador settled his bum on Santos' shoulders and placed his front paws on his head and layed his head down upon his paws. From his position he could see both his siblings. He was simply amused by his brothers dramatic actions and Floria's excitement. He kept out of their argument though. He got enough fighting when he was with Iro.

Floria pouted as tears welled up, but not a single one fell. "Aww... But.. Fine... Yes Daddy..." She put her head down to look at her paws and reminded herself to keep a watch out for other lions that would go with her. Daddy didn't say it had to be an adult... Slowly she walked forward and cuddled up against her father's hine paw, trying her best to suck up. No matter how she could end up getting around it, she didn't really enjoy being yelled at more than her brothers.

Nomis padded back to the pride - she was dripping wet and quite out of breth. It had felt good to run all the way back from her oasis - liberating, even. She had forgotten about all of her problems and feelings and let herself go with the wind. Now, as she came back, she saw Adia and Santos talking to their cubs, and she merely let out a huff of air as she climbed the rocks above the cave to sunbathe and dry herself off.
