Chath Tiu kibo_botch Kibo: Aye. Anger is almost as convincing as mystery. Oy, barkeep! What's the strongest drink you've got? Money isn't an object here. The barkeep stoops below the bar, and pops back up, a bottle in his hand. He looks dubiously at Kibo, and back to the bottle. Barkeep: Hmm... Nah, I doubt you'd be able to stand after taking just a sip. Kibo: Not for me. Kibo grabs the bottle out of the barkeep's hand, and replaces it with a small bag of coins. Barkeep: *looks in the bag* Sheesh! That'll certainly do. Have a good one! Kibo takes a piece of sticky substance and a small piece of paper, and scribbles a note on it. He then sticks it to the bottle, puts the bottle on the counter, without even opening it, and slides it down to the dwarf, smiling at him as he looks back. The note says: Aye, you'd have made a great crew member. Consider this a mediocre gift for what could have been a great fight. If you ever change your mind about the crew proposition, you know my face. Oh, and I'm still looking forward to fighting you someday.Captain of the Godspeed, Kibo Botch Kibo then ran back over to Tiffy, and then to Denise, to see if either of them would be interested in joining his crew, a slight hint of urgency in his tone. *Hantore glanced at the bottle then backhanded it off the counter to smash on the floor.* "I'll not take anything from a Human that can't respect me. He can go rot in the abyss for all I care.""My, your feeling good today, aren't you?" Suddenly, a bony grasp clutches Hantore's shoulder, putting small fingertip-sized dents in his armor. A raspy voice whispers in his ear, "He already has..." but before Hantore could look back, the grasp released, and the figure seemingly disappeared, leaving only Kibo standing there. Kibo: Heh heh. G'day. *walks away, back towards Denise, to hear her answer*

Jack_Hawkins Chath Tiu *The dwarf scoffed at him.* "It'll be a miricale if ye win and even more of one if ye actule get some plunder, son of an Orc. Besides, what need do I have of yer gold? I own a dwarf clan, Clan Thurggen to be exact. I'm not a dwarf to easily take insults and I'm quick to use me axe." *He rested the notched and still incredily sharp axe on one plate-armored shoulder. Say what was happening a little ways down the bar and stood up, going over to the angrey Dwarf. I layed a slender but firm hand on his shoulder holding him back.* "Calm, good Hantore. He obviulsy doesn't listen much to his mother nor anyone for that matter. Uk's natha nesst vel'uss talinthe xuil ukt coin lu' naut ukt karliik, nau?" *The dwarf calmed a bit an even managed a laugh at what I just said. He put his axe back on his back and returned to his drink, giveing Kibo an dark and bemused glance. I turned an angrey glare at the captian.* "Aye, that he does. Him along with the rest of the ignortent and drunken Humans in here. Bah! get ye gone from me sight, boy! Yer stench is ruinning the smeel of me drink's froth!""And you, you should know better then to disgianate agaisnt other races, espeacily considereding that your a Man and a rather sorry one at that. I shalln't be sailing with you for a while or at least until you learn proper maners." "You know... I've travelled the world and never have I met a human that could best a dwarf in single combat. Your talents would be respected on my ship, and you'd recieve a generous cut of the profits... As for your elf friend. I'm not against having a beautiful woman on my ship in the least. Quite the opposite actually..." Jack bowed respectfully, trying to gain the favor of the two unique foriegners, "My name is Jack Hawkins. I captain the ship, The Duke, and both of you would be welcome additions if you'd consider it..."
*I turned an ammused eye to him then mutter to Hantore.* "Lu' nin nindel nind zhaun udos shlu'ta malar, l' carrion jousen phor ulu phlyle udossa. Usstan talinth udos zhal'la a mzulst check doeb nindol lead. Kalton shlu'ta zuch buy doeb usstan lu' uk orn tlu harl dosst quarth probley.
*Turned back to the man and eyed him. Then said with an odd exotic accent that sounded vaugly familar. * "Most would shun a woman and an elf at that from a ship. Superstionts and all. Why would you want a beautiful elf and a rather surly dwarf to join your crew?"

Kibo: *has a false look of shock on his face, given away only by a slight grin* I never said I was better. I just said that we'd be working together. Now come on. I've tried to give you a drink, a rather expensive one, I might add, I've tried to be as friendly as I can muster; what have I done to get on yer bad side? Was it that height comment? Because I said that in a joking tone. I didn't actually mean it as an insult. However, I can give you a gift to prove my sincerety. However, I'd need to see that battleaxe on you shoulder.

((Kibo and Jack, sorry for my absence, My nte connection bugged out on me)) Listening intently to the two eager captains, Denise found herself between a rock and a barnicle. With whom to sail the seas? "Both of yas offer adventure and mystic, I give yas that. Aye as well as yas both be eager for a crew. What say I spend the rest of my ev'nin with my rum and I get back to you when you call to deport?"
Sounded well enough for her. Let the men scuttle off to find more crewmen. Depending on the night and by who else they recruit, she'd make her desision.
