Sasuke, killing. Kurenai, pregnant. Sakura, still pretty much useless. This has basically been a heartwrenching chapter for me. I hope they scan it soon - seems like one of the hero members has confirmed that this is exactly what's going to happen.
Hopefully we get to see Akatsuki Lady soon. And Uchiha Madara too. Whee! So many revelations in the next chapter!
But I want to see my Sakura kick a**!

I don't think sasuke going to get excuted well atleast Sakura and Naruo wouldn't let them do it.

Oh. And the Kurenai-pregnant thing doesn't come as a shock. After Asuma died I just kinda suspected it and... yeah. It happened.

Anyway. I can't wait for the chapter to come out *today!* because I'd love to see Sasuke's face actually talking again.

Note 1- I predicted Kurenai's pregnancy ever since we saw her looking sadly out the window at Asuma.
Note 2- I had predicted the 'king' Asuma was talking about ever since then as well.
I was right razz

At LEAST let her get a few hits on him, or let her go after Itachi (since I think she's the best equipped to be him-- Inner Sakura to defeat Tsukiyomi, she's a natural genjutus type and that's Itachi's favorite way to fight, she has montrous strenght and if she DOES get injured, she has medical jutsu!).

Well Kurenai pregnacy was pretty predictable because when she look out the window to see asuma leave she looked like she wanted to tell him something maybe that she was pregnant but he had already left.
But still it was a shocker to me.

I thought that Kurenai being pregnant was what Asuma was going to tell Kakashi in the hospital before she interrupted.
And then we saw him talkign to his dad.
And then he talked abotu the King.
and then he left and we had the leaving scene.
it was so predictable razz

I pretty much got to connect the dots when Shika mentioned that Kurenai was pregnant. Asuma whispered to Shika before he died who the "king" was in shougi, because Kurenai was pregnant. Ooh. Hurrah for me.
Anyway, bring on Team 8, Sasuke, and seme!Sakura! I'm going to be more pissed than Hidan is right now if nothing of the sort happens!
I need my SasuSaku!
But I gotta admit... Sasuke's still damn hot after ALMOST killing all those nin. I dunno. I just do.
And just so you know, Kyra-san, I DO want TWO whole volumes on Sasuke. *fangirls* blaugh

I think my ultimate fangirl chapter and set up would be a random team made up of Sakura, Shikamaru, Naruto and Hinata. Then the we'd have them go after Sasuke, with some help from Temari. And then... just because I love him, Hidan's not dead!

If I saw taht, I would die. Literally.
But, it wont' happen *knows this*, so... BRING ON SASUKE, KISHI BABY! And Sakura! And SasuSaku! w00t!!
I still want to see Sakura kick Sasuke/Itachi's butt >.>

If you think about it, wouldn't Sakura have a bit of an advantage over Sasuke? Because, if I remember correctly, when Sasuke fights Naruto, he does more blocking than dodging. But in a fight with Sakura, he'd have to dodge, otherwise Sakura's monstrous strength would break all some of his bones. So because he'd have to focus so much on dodging, it would make it difficult to land his own attacks on her, even with the Sharingan.
Does that make sense? Or am I just crazy?

In my opinion, rachaella, Sasuke's so fast he could hit just about anything. :/
Sakura, unfortunately, doesn't have the reaction time nor speed to match Sasuke's, and she doesn't have a Kyuubi to throw off his sharingan. So she probably wouldn't stand a chance against Sasuke ALONE. Unless of course, she punches the ground out from under his feet. You can't do whole lot of fighting when you're flat on your a**. :D

Uh, anyway, what particularly bothered me at the end of this chapter is that all the ninja Sasuke fought are face-down. That is, you can't see what village they're from, if any. I mean, I suppose its implied that they are just more of Orochimaru's lackeys but still... Sasuke apparently beat them all without so much as breaking a sweat, hardly ideal training, so it leads me to two conclusions:
- Orochimaru is trying to get Sasuke kill those nin. " 'It seems you're still too soft...' "
- Orochimaru is having Sasuke take care of some job for him. Orochi's goal is to take over Konoha, right? But it doesn't look like those shinobi were Leaf nin. >> They look like Sound nin, so that kills this idea. x_x
...YEAH, I'm looking into things too much. Dx -shot- When your computer is running incredibly slow and you're forced to look at a page for five minutes at the least, you get these kind of farfetched ideas. >>
