"Aions?" He hadn't been 'created' back when there were Aions in the streams and lake, he just remembered swimming around the water, not really seeing anything else besides his reflection, naiads were the first aquatic species he saw
"How do you listen?" He put his finned ear down close to the water, but all heard the sound of splashing water and it going into his ear

Hula Bob smiled. "Ah, well you just learn to listen. It's just something that you will understand." He chuckled as he looked back up at Chaos. "Yeah, Aions and Merions. They were the dudes and dudettes of the lake."

"I guess this is some adult thing?" He sighed, he hated when he had to wait to be older to understand things, it felt like he was a kid forever
"I always thought Naiads were the first aquatic creatures on the island, I never saw anything else in this lake, I've explored it from top to bottom more then once?"

Hula Bob shurgged. "They were very rare and even then some hide from others. Though, Aoaka was very awesome. He enjoyed my bar and wanted to meet others. He's a Naiad now."

"Naiad, these aion things turned into naiads?" He wonder if he was one, but then remembered he came from an egg, it might have explained why there were adult naiads already thuogh
"So Aions disappeared to become naiads, I guess that explains why there isn't anymore of them?"

Des backed away from the water a but, he felt dizzy all of a sudden and swam under the water as he headed to his spot, he didn't feel so good all of a sudden
"I guess I will have to look someday, I still wonder how you can tell which one were aions and which one were born naiads?" He looked at the water, it was empty "Where did Des go?"

Hula bob watched at the little one went under the water. "I'm not sure. Hey, dude. You okay down there?" He wasn't sure they could he under water, but it seemed like it.

The sick feeling went away in his head as he clsoed hise yes and rested. When opened them back up in a few minute he found a necklace in front of his eyes and his tail had grown longer and bigger with the rest of his body "Huh, what?" He looked around then swam up the surface, looking at the necklace when he rose up "Could this be?"
"I see a face that looks like him, but when did he grow that big?" He looked at Des' hands and saw necklace too "Did he grow up?"

Hula Bob looked down at Des. "Yes, it appears he's a child. That's wickedly awseome dude. Now you can come on land. I think anyway." He had seen Aoaka with the necklace and figured that's what it was for.

"I can, but what if I suffocate and die!?" He inched over the shore quietly, then turned back, but a wave pushed him into the sand shore. He flopped around at first buy himself kicking his tail, no, legs "Wait I can breathe?"
"Intersting, it seems that necklace allows them to become Pae'il on land?" "Well besides the ears, but if they looked just like us we wouldn't be able to tell which is which until one jumped in the water"
