But that would really suck, because then all the Suethors would go crazy and make vampire mary-sues. D:

Here's a theory; the only way to kill Hidan is to kill yourself when cursed by him.
Or something like that.
Hidan, in sense, will only die if his 'brain' is destroy. His head is chop off, so he is now a talking head. His brain seems to work even with his body sever. He seems he wants to die but there is time when he can't kill himself.
What Shikamaru explain is how the technique is perform. It is difficult to point out how is he going to 'die'. Hidan either needs to be destroy completely or kill the most vital and important organ is the brain.
I just find this more amusing by the second. I mean the story.

I wouldn't really call Ino a Sakura rip off, it's good she knows some medical ninjutsu. Plus, with Tsunade as Hokage, maybe she made some sort of rule that all ninjas needed to know some medical ninjutsu (Seeing as she was so intent on having at least one medic in each team when going on missions).
