Pander rolled over onto his side. He was slowly waking up. His mind had transerfed back to his body just as Yume had run off. He was now sleeping in a worried state, wondering if Yume was alright. His body ached and he knew he would feel it when he awoke.
Yume... where... what...
His eyes slowly opened. He could see the form of Dirge's body laying infront of him. The large beast was sleeping. Dirge woke seconds after Pander, his head snapping back and forth, trying to see what was going on.
Who's there?
It's just me.
Oh... Ok...
Dirge dropped his head back down onto his fore paws, using them like a pillow. Both he and Pander were tired and they knew it. They could tell the other was tired too.

Suka shook the hand that she had given him, and he smiled. "That's good to hear Karin, I'd like to see how long it lasts aswell...hope it's long..." he released her hand and seeing as the two orbs of energy that were there from earlier when he had grabbed her attention, he made them disappear and then looked back to her "So what's your history with Wolf Demons..apparently you're not so far on good terms wth them....but why?" He was curious at this point whether it was just that she was scared or that she didn't like them...whatever it was there's usually a reason for it...

Kara walked up to the lake edge and sat down with a sigh. The lights floating about the lake made her face shine as beautiful as the moon, yet her eyes showed more than just a hint of sadness. Things had been going wrong lately, and she had come to try to sort them out in the peaceful setting of the water and the trees. Something about this combination had always made her feel better, even as a little girl. Most likely because her mother had always taken her to such places to console her.

Karin listened silently, still smiling towards him as they shook hands. When he released hers, she clasped it in the other one on her lap and stared at it a moment. "Yes, I hope it's... long too," she murmured quietly, then raised her head again, glancing at the balls as he made them disappear. She saw him about to speak and turned her attention back towards him, but her ears drooped instantly at the question and her eyes went back to the ground.
A look of pain flashed across her face, but faded an instant later. She covered it with a small laugh. "Yeah, wolf demons..." she said mostly to herself, and then glanced back up at him. "Back home, my friend Kana would get picked on a lot, so I'd always go to help her. Usually, it was by a wolf, or dog, or some other canine... Actually, even the other cats picked on her, but I never understood why. When I got involved, that meant I was a target as well. Wolves were the meanest though, no offense meant..." She tilted her head, still gazing at him. "So, what's your history with cat demons?" she asked.

Suka saw the look of pain, and he didn't quite understand it until she told him of the trouble she had with them and he nodded at the mention of the wolves being the meanest. When she finished and asked him her question, he waited a moment before replying in a slight matter of factly tone of voice, which he'd used before in the conversation. "Cat Demons...never minded them much, didn't like 'em much either...only for the fact that a lot of 'em jump to conclusions." Then he shuddered a bit and another little bit of his hair got in his eyes, he moved the hair aside again and then told her the rest of the story, ees fixed on the grass instead of her face. "The Anthro-Feline race in general though...hate them...hated them all of my life...all of them..." he let this settle in...just enough to give him time to catch his breath and keep from doing anyhthing that might harm the girl in front of him... "Black Panthers...that's why. I'll leave it at that for now I guess...but Anthro-felines...not cats...just the rest of 'em....thought I might let you know." he looked back up from the ground...and waited for what she'd reply to this...

Karin stared at him as he spoke, wondering what kind of reply she'd get. Jump to conclusions? she thought to herself, slightly amused and trying to figure out if she did in fact do this. But then she saw him shudder and her half smile faded, disappearing altogether and instead falling into a frown. The word 'hate' kept ringing in her ears, which were flattened back against her head now. Her golden eyes were slightly narrowed and staring intently at the grass. She remained silent for a while after he'd finished, just watching the ground as she chewed nervously at her lip.
Then she slowly raised her head, settling her eyes upon him once more. They now held a distinct look of hurt. "But you... you don't mind cats?" she asked quietly. "You don't hate me... do you?" She bowed her head again. "Because... I'll leave you alone, if you want..." Her tail curled sadly around her waist, ears drooping, as she slumped slightly forward.

Suka listened to her reply...and the question that came before she asked if he hated her and he raised another brow, his tail flailing a bit before he repled, for she had continued to say more though he didn't pay much attention to that which came after the second question. Her change in posture made him dropp his brow and quiet himself a bit, his voice wavering to begin with, still recovering from his frustration. "It's the other ones Karin....I don't hate you and I don't want you to leave." he thought now that he might clarify a bit, for he'd made her feel ba and he could see that "The Big Cats if you will....The Jaguars, the Leopards, te Lions.....the Panthers..." he said and then he let his tail drop straight "Do you want to know why Karin? Would that help you understand?....Any other reason and I think hate would be too strong a word...."

Gordon jumped up and spread his wings. He flew away from the pit and straight at Sora. He kept moving sideway quickly, hoping to confuse her. His hand glowed red and he fired a red ball of chaos into the ground creating a large cloud of dust. Mergex growled as he lost track of them.
Suddenly from the side Gordon came to kick Sora in the face but poofed out at the last second and instead appeared in the back of her and aimed a hard chop at her shoulder.

Karin kept her head bowed as she listened to his reply. She was slightly relieved, but she still felt hurt. She didn't really understand why either. Maybe it was partly frustration at how the resistance between felines and canines was so strong and just casually accepted. No one questioned why, they just followed... Am I over reacting? she thought to herself, then sighed quietly. She lifted her gaze to him again, head tilted once more. Her ears perked halfway back up and she even managed a small smile. But she shook her head at his offer of an explanation. "No..." she murmured. "You don't have to tell me. That's personal and... I don't want to invade. We've only just met, after all."

Kana bounded towards the lake, then froze abruptly as she saw the twins seated by the edge. She began chewing her lip, watching them anxiously. "What do I do, what do I do?" she repeated nervously to herself, glancing around in all directions. Her ears were drooping, tail wrapped tightly around her waist. She sighed mournfully and dropped to her knees. "He saw me... saw me kissing that guy I barely knew. I don't even know what I was doing! My first kiss..." She continued frantically talking to herself, quietly under her breath for a few moments more.
Then she looked back towards the pair, Shojuto especially. "I can't face him, I can't!" She clenched her fists, looking around rapidly again. She didn't even notice Karin, too confused by her worry and guilt. Then she gritted her teeth and closed her eyes. Kana's shaped shifted instantly, and in the girl's place stood a small black cat with bright blue eyes.
The small cat darted towards the twins, then paused just behind Shojuto. It's head tilted, then it crept towards him, finally pausing with one paw set gently on his arm, just staring up at him. The eyes held a sad look, full of guilt as well. Kana nervously wondered if he'd realized the cat was her.

Suka nodded, he was actually happy about this. He was happy for two reasons, one was that he would not have to reveal this to her just yet. The other reason was that she didn't push for it...she accepted it way before he had expected her to, and for any friendship to work out, things like that needed to be evident. "Good...I didn't quite want to tell...um, maybe we should change the subject though." He didn't smile, bit he let his eyes show that he was much less melancholy than just moments before.

Sora's eyes widened as she saw him coming towards her, bringing her hands up quickly to block his attack. Seeing that he disappeared suddenly, though, she swiftly reached into a pouch and pulled out a dagger, swinging it as she turned around. Even if Gordon hit her, her dagger would pierce him at the same time; and she enticipated it. If the dagger went through him like she inteded, in an instant the dagger would glow and extend right through him.
[[you can say it hit me, don't worry ^.^ cuz i wasn't sure if you'd want to pull away instead, so if you don't just say you hit me]]

Kietaru glanced at her brother and could tell that he was still upset about what had happened. He was still staring into the water, like it held the deepest darkest secrets in it, and he was trying to search for them. But she knew very well that Shojuto would find nothing in the water, and she was sure he knew that as well. While deep in thought, she began staring into the lake as well, barely noticing a small black cat go towards Shojuto.

Shojuto, as sad as ever, continued looking into the water. He knew he couldn't solve his problems this way, and that he was accomplishing nothing, but he couldn't get his mind off what he saw any other way. He felt something soft brush against his arm, and looked down to see a small black cat sitting there, looking up at him. He began stroking it's head, and tears slowly began streaming down his face. "I guess animals really can sense the feelings of humans. You came here to cheer me up didn't you little cutie?" He gently picked up the cat and placed it on his lap and continued stroking it. "I probably seem so pathetic...I don't think I would be able to face her, I feel like an idiot."

Karin nodded her head slowly, then glanced around. But she was too preoccupied to recognize the black cat that dashed past her as the girl she'd been looking for, and overlooked the familiar scent as well. She just... wasn't quite thinking straight, and it was showing. The girl bit her lip lightly and then laughed aloud. "I really don't... know what to say," she said with an awkward grin. Her hair fell to hide half of her face, but she didn't bother to move it. Her right eye was worse anyway.
What she cared about right now was that she was slowly cheering herself back up, and even her ears were perking once more. Now she just wanted Suka to grow happy again as well. She rocked back and forth for a moment, then paused. "Hey, maybe if we explore more of the campus? I really haven't been anywhere at all."

Kana blinked at him, tilting her head slightly as she stared. Her eyes widened slightly as he began petting her. She couldn't help purring, even though the sight of his tears had her in shock. Oh no! she thought in a panic. I-I made him cry! Oh god, what should I do? It's all my fault, on my god... Her thoughts trailed off as she suddenly realized she was being lifted from the ground. If her face wasn't covered in fur, it would have been bright red. But she didn't move or try to get away as he continued petting her. She just kept purring, though she was still screaming at herself inwardly. She slowly snuggled her face against his stomach, placing one paw over it gently. She was waiting for a chance to reveal it was her, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it right now.
