Neko felt the kiss and stired, but didn't wake up. She turned over, moving her tails so she didn't crush them.

He smiled still and kissed her again, longer this time, stroking her cheek as he did.

Neko stirred again, and opened one eyes slightly. She screamed and jumped back when she saw Asmodai, compltely shocked from sleep as she took down her illusion. She was breathing heavily and sighed. "Oh, it's you."

He was knocked back when she jumped, rubbing his chin from being hit in the process. "Who else would it be? Ow." One eye was half closed in a wince.

"I'm sorry!" Neko said, hands over her mouth in embarassment. "I was just freak out is all! I'm sorry! Are you okay?" She cralwed over to him to make sure he was fine. "I didn;t hurt you did I?"

"It's alright. I heal fast." He smiled up at her and winced immediately. He propped himself on one hand and pushed himself off the floor and into a chair. "I'm fine really."

"Then what was that wince about?" Neko asked, concered. She stood up and looked at him. She couldn't see anything wrong, but people didn't wince for no reason.

"Just a little bruize, nothing more. I'm fine." He tried to smile again, an honest smile. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her down to kiss her again.

Neko's nerves were tingling pleasantly from the kiss, her tails mocing around as they did when she was happy. She broke the kiss and hugged him.
"I'm sorry I hit you. I didn't mean it. I'm just not used to things like that yet." She nuzzled his chest, purring.

He smiled and brought her down to sit on his lap. "I told you it is alright. And perhaps we should get used to it, hmm?" He said with a smirk.

She glared at him, pouting in the way that she always did, making herself look cuter than usual.
"And just what do you mean by that? You had a wife. You've had plenty of time to get used to waking up with someone rihgt next to you. I haven't. Even with my siblings I had my own room and my own privacy. So what's with the we?"

"Ah but it is a different thing entirely waking up next to someone you love. In this, I am as much a novice as you." He smiled and kissed her pouting lips. "You're cute when you do that you know. Not that you aren't always cute of course."

"Of course." Neko said in mock haughtiness, sticking her nose in the air like some stuck up noblewoman. She wiggeled around on his lap to get into a more comfortable position and then lost her haughty air and put her head on his shoulder.
"I just had a thought. What if your wife IS still alive?"

"So what if she is. She is no more my wife now as my life is no longer the same as it was before. I am a new person now, and as such lead a new life. I love you, and if she were to come back, she would not matter."

"Hmph." Neko said. "Let's just hope you still feel that way however many years from now." One of her tails wrapped aroung his leg in a gentle squeeze, like a hug.
