1. The last professional drama performance I watched was the musical Wicked on Broadway.
2. The last play that I read that I remember is All My Sons by Arthur Miller. I really enjoyed its message, and I wish I could've seen a production interpretation of it.
3. I have only watched one ballet, The Nutcracker, and I enjoyed seeing the story and emotions play out via movement. I've also watched Opera performances on TV but have never attended in person.
4. One film adaptation is Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. I prefer to read the play first and then watch it, so I can compare my interpretation with the director/actor's interpretation.

1) I don't particularly attend drama performances but had the pleasure of being gifted with tickets to see Hamlet for my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the drama and I felt close to the action. Viewing plays live on stage provides an intimate feel and the live performance draws you into the action.

2) The last play I read was in high school. I do not remember the name. I don't particularly enjoy reading plays and will only choose to read them if it was a required study or assignment. 3) I have never seen a musical. I received feedback that the MJ musical was absolutely exhilarating! I enjoy his music and would love to see his story told in this format 4) I have never seen an opera. I am not a fan of this form of theatre because I don't understand the language. I have been to several ballets to include Swan Lake and the Nutcracker. Ballets are my absolute favorite because I'm a trained dancer. It is powerful when you can illustrate a story through movement. 5) I watched the T.V. adaptation of Hamlet. I enjoyed the cinematic version. I found the stage play's action scenes were limited to the stage. The T.V. adaptation had more characters and in depth narrative. I also enjoy the special effects of television that can provoke emotion and intent.

This point of view now makes reading plays more interesting for me. I initially bypass reading plays and go directly to the cinematic depiction because I am visual learner, Word Count: 51

Gaglioti1234 1. Several years ago, I attended a play known as The Lion King. I enjoyed this play very much being that I am a huge Lion King fan! 2. I have never read a play. I don’t believe I would enjoy reading a play as much as I would if I watched the play. 3. I have never seen a musical drama. I am not sure if I would enjoy it. 4. I have never been to nor seen an opera or a ballet. word count: 84 Hello Gaglioti, We share the same sentiments in that I don't enjoy reading plays as much as I enjoy watching a play. I find that I am a visual learner and enjoy plays best when the information is presented to me visually. It takes me too long to read a play. I find myself stopping often to imagine the scenes and actions of what I'm reading. Word Count: 64

Word check: 23 Hello Beezy007 I thoroughly enjoyed this play as well because of it's life lesson .We often forget to stop and smell the roses in pursuit of the American Dream. I actually saw the T.V. adaptation of the play and would be interested in seeing how such a powerful message translates on stage. Word Count: 50

• Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)? I have attended to a few professional plays such as Lion King and Harry Potter. I find plays very interesting for what I think are very different reasons than most of the people, for example I look at the way they set up and change scenarios, everything moves and changes so smoothly that it looks like the real movie. In the other hand I have not had the chance to see other type of performances, so I don’t have an opinion on if I like them or not.

• What is your experience with opera and ballet? I don’t have any experience with opera or ballet, this type of drama is not one that gets my attention or my interest, but again if I ever have the opportunity to assist to one, I will take it because I think it is important to diversify your experiences.
