Hiruko KenzenKentaro

Ashigakure // Title: Genin // Rank: D // Kenzen Clan // Medical / Scholar // Chakra: 300 / 300 // Stamina: 200 / 200

Hiruko ran to where he knew the Braille buki scrolls were and grabbed some for a style using a staff, reading through them he memorized what the moves were so he wouldn’t have to stop til he was done so he could hurry to help the war effort. Taking his staff in both hands he held it so the front end was head level with the back end about at his hip. From there he’d thrust the staff out both horizontally and vertically, practicing the basic blocks. Once he had a feel for that he would practice stepping forward as he blocked and as he thrust forward with the butt of the staff in a hard jab strike. He’d work on the timing of the strike to maximize the power in the strike as he settled his weight in the stance, but before the momentum of the step was lost. Once he had that down good,he started spinning the staff around himself, including flipping it around the back of his hand to spin it around one hand. Once the feel for the weight of the staff, as well as its balance was well known he would work on stepping in circles and spinning the staff to defend and attack simultaneously. He would finish up by spinning the staff rapidly overhead, feeling a small vortex form around him before he would turn and jab the nearest dummy with the end of the staff, sending a surge of chakra down it at the same time. Smiling he would watch the dummy fly back about 10 feet and clatter onto the floor. With that done, Hiruko put away the scrolls and continued tapping and sweeping his staff in front of him as he made his way for the gates of the village.

Physical Description:

Kind of short, at 5’6”, and on the skinny side.He has short black hair that just starts to cover his forehead with a black cloth tied around his head covering his eyes.He wears a simple pair of shinobi pants and shoes with a black t-shirt and a white lab coat that hangs to his mid thigh with sleeves that just barely hide his hands. Usually has a long wooden staff in his hand, using it to tap around for obstacles, feigning worse blindness than he really has and hiding his clan’s abilities along with his true family name.

Sheva walked through the doors of the Dojo, knowing the calamity on the ground below her. The crumbles of battle could be heard from all corners of the village, she needed to be able to defend herself and combing through the scrolls at the Dojo were going to be her best bet. She walked and pulled a small Gunbai from the wall; though she hadn’t used one before... she loved it. She took it ion her hand and started to view the different sides, She began to feel what it felt like sliding through the air. Sheva knew that she was adept too some Futon ninjutsu and thought about how the fan could be used. This was war, what was better then a Gunbai to defend her village. She turned and waved the fan at a nearby dummy and a force from the downdraft moved it.

SHe continued to move the Gunbai around her, she got the feel for the weight and the overall movements. Now was nearly the time to get out there and defend her village. She thought that the day would never come and honestly she didn’t want it to. This was what it came down to, a full scale invasion. The enemy was strong but she needed to be stronger. Channeling her chakra through the Gunbai, she stood her ground and a long chakra chain appeared at its base. Though she was waving a massive Gunbai; the chain didn’t give a drag of wear... it made it more deadly. She whipped the Gunbai and the newly formed chain around her.

Having walked away from Belamos, Takashi returned to his training.

【Learning: Vertical Crush; Sturdy Stance; Spiraling Meteor】
Focusing first on how to best utilize his hammer, Takashi began practicing the Meteor Crusher style. Of course, he would begin with the styles most basic technique, the Verticle Crush. Bringing his hammer above his head, he then slammed it down onto the ground with a mighty thud. After several swings, he sought to improve his hits by assuming the Sturdy Stance. Widening his feet, he readjusted his grip and found that his swings had much more power behind them, though he could only maintain this stance for so long.

【Learning: Spiraling Meteor; Rising Fissure; Soaring Comet】
Moving onto some of the more advanced techniques, Takashi once more slammed his hammer down onto the ground. This time though, he released a burst of chakra to propel himself into the air like a Spiraling Meteor, performing a flip before touch back down. With his next strike to the ground, he again released a burst of chakra. However, rather than sending himself into the air, this time it was the earth beneath that was sent flying, creating a Rising Fissure. Feeling that he'd done enough dame to the ground, he decided to practice the Soaring Comet technique. Bring his hammer up and onto his shoulder, he then spun himself around and gave his hammer a mighty upward swing. With the added momentum, he was sure such a technique could send an opponent flying if it connected.

Setting aside his hammer, for the time being, Takashi pulled out his shuriken and practiced with them.

                                            【Mission: Target Practice】
                                            【Learning: Straight Shot; Mirror Throwing】
Like with his hammer, Takashi first set his sights on the most basic of the Hoshi Art's techniques. Throwing a Straight Shot at one of the training dummies, he hurled a single shuriken through the air with great speed. Once he was comfortable with throwing a single shuriken he decided he needed to up his game. Now with two shurikens in hand, he practiced throwing them simultaneously. With the wide curve that the two projectiles took as they moved through the air, they would create a pincer on his opponent, attacking them from multiple sides.
                                            【Learning: Straight Shot; Mirror Throwingγ€‘βœ”

                                            【Learning: Snare Toss; Shadow Sling】
Once he was pleased with his ability to handle throwing two shuriken at the same time, Takashi felt he was ready to add one more to the mix. Grabbing three shurikens with one hand, he hurled them through the air at the dummy in Snare Toss. Each one followed a different path but in the end, they all successfully hit their target from their various angles. While being able to hit ones target from multiple angles was good, there were other means of ensuring a successful hit. Once more only holding one shuriken, Takashi formed a hand sign with his free hand and then tossed the shuriken at the target. Along the way, an illusory copy of the shuriken formed in front of it, which would hopefully fool an opponent.
                                            【Learning: Snare Toss; Shadow Slingγ€‘βœ”

【Learning: Retrieval; Orbital Projectiles; Bang Shot】
With shuriken now littering the ground, Takashi felt it was best he clean up his mess. By performing the proper hand sign, he released a series of chakra threads that moved throughout the field as a means of Retrieval for all the shurkens he had tossed. Once they had all returned to him, he focused his chakra once more as he brought his arms out to his side. This caused the shuriken to whirl around him, becoming Orbiting Projectiles. Further focusing his chakra into two of the shuriken, he launched them both out at the target dummy with a Bang Shot, causing a small explosion upon impact.

Just as Takashi finished up his training, an alarm from the spire was sounded, calling all available fighters to the Floodgates. With haste, Takashi left the dojo. It was time to put all his training to use.

She knew that she had no time to waste, she needed to join her comrades on the battlefield; but her survival was important. She put the training Gunbai on her side and moved onto the next weapon, she had always had an affinity for weapons but there was no time to sit and think about it. She put her hands up and knew that she needed to learn a Taijutsu that would utilize her strength. She pulled another scroll from the wall and opened it onto the floor. It was the Kote Style, she had seen it before going dark; now it was time for her to blossom with the strength that she knew she had. She started to shadow box and weave.

After some time, she knew that she would be practical experience. That would come soon but for the time being; she went to a dummy and started to practice the strikes that were described in the scroll. Though it was a hard hitting style, she needed to utilize the speed behind it. She began with basic strikes and then moved faster and faster. She really started to push herself when she channeled chakra into her arms and fists to enforce her punches. Soon, the dummy started to split and fell to the ground. This new power came to her rather naturally and she reveled in it. But, she knew that it was time to move onto the next..

Sheva wanted to learn more though everything seemed to be chaotic, she was in the right mind to further her techniques. Though the last style was a hand to hand, she sought out a sword and shield. She knew that if she was able to find a sword and shield that she would be nearly unstoppable... or so she thought. She walked around the dojo and found an old blade and a wooden shield. This would have to work, she walked back to the wall of weapon arts and pulled another from the wall. She always admired someone that was able to weild a shield and sword, it read ancient to her. She started to swing the sword and shield in conjunction with her body

The next few techniques utilized the shield more, it seemed like the earlier techniques looked at the sword more. Learning all of these would propel her forward. She started to take defensive stances and striking in between. SHe loved it, though the shield wasn’t any better then a rickety old door; it would sever it purpose in protecting her body. She lifted the shield as height has she could and made sure that she was able to carry the weight.

She knew that β€˜in your face’ techniques worked but she needed to be able to gain some distance. She put the shield on the wall and placed the sword on her hip. She had a few kunai on her and noticed that there was a weapon art that would hep her further utilize these techniques. She walked over and pulled the scroll from the wall and examined it.

She pulled the kunai from her pocket and started to juggle with it, minding that it was still a sharp implement. She began to just practice with it until the tossing and juggling became natural to her. Now that she was confident with her skill in simply just handling it... she was ready to move on. She took out a second kunai and began to toss that one into the air and observing the techniques in the scroll.

Now was the time to test what she had learned, she laced her knuckles with the two kunai. Spinning she threw on and kept the other in her hand and a feint, then releasing it at the most opportune moment. Though projectiles didn’t come naturally to her, she had grown confident and sought to master this art. She walked over the the wall that was embedded in her kunai and pulled them from the wall. She knew that she would need this in the ongoing battle.

Sheva placed the kunai back into the pouch and replaced the scroll upon the wall, she wanted to learn more about the armor style that she saw on the wall. Looking around, there was nothing that she would be able to use in the current situation. She decided that she would attempt to learn the jutsu without armor, something rang in her that would make her think that the whole thing would be painful but she would push on

She used the Clone Jutsu and walked over to the dummy, she nodded to her clone and they took control of the dummy. The scroll read that armor was needed but she wanted to try to learn without. The clone started to swing the dummy into her and she just stood there and took the hits. This was going to get her ready for concussive it and bruises that she was going to take. It was a small barrage and bruises started to form. Though she didn’t like looking battered and bruised.. it was part of the training thus this far.

The clone let up and Sheva stood for a moment to catch her breathe, this style was tough on her but it would be better with an armor later. She nodded back at her clone and the barrage of wooden arms and the dummy’s torso impacted with her for arms and stung. She gritted her teeth and continued, there was no easy way to get this over with and she needed to do this. She attempted to deflect the hits but knew that this was all to train herself and increase beer own defense.

Sheva knew that she couldn’t just stand here any longer, she needed to pull herself together and move on. Arashigakure was under full attack; she grabbed the Gunbai, wooden shield. As she headed to the door, there was a spear that was leaned near the weapons rack. A thought ran through her mind β€˜ Take it an break it. β€˜ She grabbed the spear after securing the previous items to her body and snapped it. All that was left was about two (2) feet of its length before the spear. Sheva took no time at looking at it any further and walked out from the dojo. This was the tricky part; How was Sheva going to get to the ground. There was a massive battle happening below her but she sensed something worse happening away from Arashi. She secured herself and everything on her, she put on her leather helmet and light armor.

She looked down and nodded, she threw her hands into a string of handsigns. She lightly floated and stared at the Land of Floods β€œ Here we go. β€œ Stepped off the edge of Arashi, the wind lifted and she took off to The Lands of Floods Main Road.

Formless Style Training
Nagisa decided that to begin her training regiment as a fresh genin out of the academy, that she should first start with just basic physical training. After all, the key to utilizing jutsu was to be of keen body and mind. First entering the Stormcloud District dojo, she entered a secluded area away from others that may be training as she did not desire to be interrupted and did not want to interrupt anyone else. She began by stretching like anyone with common sense would, then she started by finding a dummy to start punching into and throwing in some kicks. After a solid ten minutes of this, she moved on to find a partner to strike at her so she could block their incoming blows. After this time passed, Nagisa felt like she was ready to get into the deep flow of things and begin training both her taijutsu and bukijutsu skills. (Trained Formless Style| Hard Physical Rank D to C)

Taijutsu Training
Nagisa made sure to gather scrolls on the taijutsu and bukijutsu styles she intended to begin study on. The first taijutsu style she wanted to absorb was the Fissure Kicking style as it seemed to be a solid first fit, although Nagisa did not intend on being upper body weak whatsoever. The beginning stage of learning involved a technique known as Round Fissure. Beginning the training by dashing as fast as she could towards a target dummy, she then began to twist her body and hone her center of gravity. Eventually she began to spin into a roundhouse kick landing it towards the dummies face. She repeated the process a few more times until she felt quite comfortable with the jutsu. (Trained Round Fissure + Side Fissure + White Fissure)

Having been moved training into the second stage, she began to learn the move Hooking Fissure. Dashing forward into the air, Nagisa begin to mimic the heel hooking movement to attempt to land a hook strike at the shoulder and/or chest of the dummy she had been using. It only took her a few tries to eventually begin to get the grasp of the mechanics of this technique. Soon enough, her hook kick slammed into the shoulder and connected perfectly. At this point she practiced it enough to ensure that she was adding both speed and force to attack as this was surely to be used in her arsenal in the future. (Trained Hooking Fissure + Upper Fissure + Double Fissure)

At her current rank of ability Nagisa knew she could not learn anymore techniques past the third stage which she had entered. The final jutsu she intended to take from the Fissure Kicking would be the Straight Fissure as with her other attacks, she now ran forward and jumped up one knee drawn to her chest, the other extended to ram into the dummy. At first she was not gaining enough height, so she simply continued to roll into the jump before ramming the heel into the dummy several times. Eventually, the dummy was sent back far enough for her to feel comfortable with the jutsu. (Trained Straight Fissure + Kaiser Style Stage 1 Heavy Punch + Sudden Straight)
Moving on to the next taijutsu style she desired to unlock, Nagisa began learning the Kaiser Fist. She wanted to be anything but weak for her senpai. In the second stage, she began to study the Kaiser Crown which essentially was a head butt, a different approach to physical combat. Moving directly before the dummy she assumed a combat pose and then lunged her head downwards against it. She could feel some resistance and pain on impact. Repeating the motion several times, she ensured that she fully understood what she was learning at this moment through practice as she had been doing on her previous techniques. (Learned Kaiser Crown + Crumbling Overhead + Kaiser Armor)

Now Nagisa was in the deep thick of the Kaiser Fist style in its third stage, having now been able to form the Kaiser Armor which was key to the style’s core abilities. She felt more comfortable having a defensive barrier active that would assist her in combat going forward. The next technique she was learning was the Elbow Bolt. A simple concept of charging forward and digging their elbow into the target for an effective stun and damage. She practiced the motions over and over until she was able to slam into the dummy perfectly in the torso. Nagisa wanted to be able to maximize the damage which was necessary to make this an ideal ability. (Trained Elbow Bolt + Guillotine Drop + Iron Backhand)

Nagisa’s next training would involve the Channeling Martial Skill as she felt she was going to be more interested in combining ninjutsu elemental attacks as well as chakra into her taijutsu. The first technique of this style was the Elemental Fury, essentially manipulating either of her elements into her palms. Using her natural chakra control she was able to coat her hands in lightning nature chakra, followed by a wind style nature that she had been born with. She did this several times getting a strong synergetic feel for what flowed within her elemental veins. Being able to utilize this style held many perks Nagisa felt. (Trained Elemental Fury + Elemental Personification + Forceful Wave)

Her next technique learned would be the Sweeping Force. Taking a squatting position, a sweeping kick sends a thin veil of chakra that will rush towards a target to knock them down at range. A useful technique if getting in close was not going to happen easily. She copied the movements in the scroll carefully sliding her leg to send her wind style chakra with it. After launching a few ranged Sweeping Force attacks, she then landing one directly on the dummy which crashed against it and would have sent it flying if it was not made to withstand heavy force like this from those in training. (Trained Sweeping Force + Dual Forces + Counter Force)

Her next technique in the training was not a technique but rather a mastery point in the third stage of the style. She would learn Elemental Doubling which would let her use both her lighting and wind natures simultaneously, a remarkable feat and with great uses. She returned to the beginning of the style for this training reusing Elemental Fury to first form a wind style coating of one hand and then a lightning style coating of the other. She combined both into her Sweeping Force and send a wave of wind with lightning attached to it. It was clear that now she possessed a greater force of elemental control with this style. (Trained Elemental Double + Snaring Forces + Vital Piercing Art Stage 1 Devastation Stance)

The final taijutsu style for now that Nagisa desired to have control over was an ode to the Hyuga clan’s taijutsu the Vital Piercing Art style. Her major first training in this style would be a much more complex ability than anything she has learned prior requiring multiple practice sessions and increased time at the dojo. The basic learning principle of this ability is to begin striking with the usage of an index and middle finger. The idea is to destroy the muscular system instead of attack the chakra network. Before she got into the deep practicing of the nature of the technique, she spent more time studying the scroll, so she didn’t have to stop what she was doing and look at it over and over. (1/5 Vitality Destruction + Front Jab + Horizontal Elbow Opening)
Mimicking the style’s movements she began to pelt the dummy with her index and middle finger, a very weird sensation compared to punching which is all she had original done with her taijutsu prior. After getting a rhythm going, Nagisa began to feel she understood how this was going to work. She kept the vision in her mind of where she would be striking to cause the most damage. It was important to continuously land attacks to make this ability to work most effectively. (2/5 Vitality Destruction + Front Jab + Horizontal Elbow Opening)

Using her leg to further add to her stability and striking precision she began to lean into each strike and pick up the force behind them. Now it was starting to feel no different from a punch and was beginning to feel natural as she struck with increased force. Nagisa was going to begin training her speed to connect each of her strikes for more lethality, as this seemed the kind of attack meant to end someone with intent to kill. (3/5 Vitality Destruction + Front Jab + Horizontal Elbow Opening)

Practicing with increased speed the movements to strike with this training were natural now. She landed each blow into the dummy and a cruel smile formed on her face. If this was a real person they would be suffering deeply right now and potentially in a life-threatening position. Continuing her barrage of strikes against the dummy, Nagisa was feeling she was reaching the totality of the training for this stage of the style. (4/5 Vitality Destruction + Front Jab + Horizontal Elbow Opening)

To finish her training of Vitality Destruction, Nagisa added increased strength and speed to each of her strikes and made sure to flow into each attack. She knew this was going to become a more deadly style in her arsenal that could work extremely well if combined with her medical techniques. Using this to her advantage, she began to strike perfectly as if she had been doing this all her life. Soon enough she felt it was time to move into more complex techniques. (5/5 Trained Vitality Destruction + Front Jab + Horizontal Elbow Opening)

She would move into the third stage at this point learning Rip Separation. The mere title of the technique would send shivers to the bone. The premise behind this attack is to turn the hand into a knife-like form of sharpness and jab in-between the ribs of an opponent. She formed her hand into the suggested form and began to strike hard at the β€œrib” of the dummy she had been working with. It soon became abundantly clear her strikes were honed at this point and fully capable of being a threat as the dummy was sent back easily. (Trained Rib Separation + Severing Tendon)

Bukijutsu Training
Switching gears to bukijutsu, Nagisa decided the first style she would learn would be the Kazekiri as she already possessed a katana and a wakizashi and this was ideal for dual blades. The first of these techniques was the Two Swords Drawing Art: First Blood. The idea is to have both weapons in their sheathes with the palms above the hilts ready to draw them for an opening strike in a scissor cutting motion. She did so with the dummy and found it was very different to utilize weapons instead of just strike normally. Practicing a few times, she eventually felt comfortable with the jutsu. (Trained Two Swords Drawing Art: First Blood + Primary Stance)

Next she had to learn the Secondary Stance. To have a successful secondary stance it was important to keep the swords spread with one to the left and right for defense which would be less taxing. Honing her eyes on the dojo around she imagined the utility of this stance would be most vital when defending and potentially surrounded by multiple opponents. It seemed one of the simpler techniques and perhaps a starting point to branch off. (Trained Secondary Stance + Body of the Short Armed Monkey)

In the second stage, Nagisa found herself needing to learn the Hidden Thrust. Following the general ruling, she entered Primary Stance holding a sword to a horizontal angle and one to a vertical angle. The front blade she swung vertically down before lunging with the horizontal blade and extending its strike suddenly using her chakra control. She did this several times before she felt comfortable with the distance she was gaining with each infusion of chakra. A very good surprise attack that could turn the tide of a battle quickly especially if the opponent got too close for her comfort. (Trained Hidden Thrust + Blade Storm)

In the third stage and apex of what she could currently learn, Nagisa began to study the Vortex Counter. It was a unique jutsu that used chakra to cause the blades to orbit the wrist in a fan like motion. These would then become a vortex to repel an attack. She began to infuse the blades with chakra and started by rotating them around her wrists careful not to get slashed by them as they picked up speed. Eventually she held her arms before her and the blades rapidly spun to form a protective vortex force. (Trained Vortex Counter + Heavy Gale)

The final bukijutsu style Nagisa felt would be useful to her was the Soul Slayer Art to go with her scythe that she possesses. The beginning technique in the first stage is Devil’s Footing which is a basic stance. She followed the scroll’s ruling placing her non-dominant foot in front of her dominant one, which was her right, with her scythe aimed towards the ground. She held it with her left hand and stared at the dummy with a cold menacing look that she hoped would be something to instill fear at some point in the future. (Trained Devil’s Footing + Devil’s Flight)

To finish the first stage’s training Nagisa would learn Outer Reaping. The scythe would be swung and slash in a very wide arc with the intend of hooking them and pulling them closer to the user. Following the technique, she swung the scythe and connected with the dummy, causing it to lean forward. She did this several times until she felt it was really gripping onto the back of the dummy and pulling it towards her for future attack combinations. Knowing she had this understood, she would move on to the next stage. (Trained Outer Reaping + Fatal Send off)

The next technique in the second stage she wanted to learn was Executioner’s Wave. Following a swing a crescent-shaped line of chakra that boomerangs will be sent out. She first studied the scroll as she had been doing previously before mimicking the ability using her chakra and slashing the scythe to send out the wave and bending it around the dummy. It rebounded as the technique stated and she held the scythe out to catch it and return the chakra she had just cast. (Trained Executioner’s Wave + Evil Moon Slash)

To finish her bukijutsu training, the final technique she needed to learn was Reaping Hook. Essentially an ability to create distance, she proceeded to slide forward and to the side of the dummy and copy the movement of the technique. The goal here was to catch the target and toss them at the ending point of the scythe. Once she was able to latch onto the dummy a few times she felt like there was enough practical use here for future combat usage. (Trained Reaping Hook + Crypt Keeper)

Heading to the hospital, before moving to her ninjutsu training, Nagisa intended to learn her medical techniques which would assist her in becoming her ideal kunoichi and one of keeping senpai alive.

Bukijutsu Training
As Nagisa did before, she intended to train her basic combat skill up to its greater proficiency before she moved on to training. The first skill she would work on would be Soft Physical. Using her kunai and shuriken she found a target and began to gracefully move with great determination. Aiming with precision, she practiced and struck at the target which was before her. It didn’t take long for her to get the proper aiming down to a more proficient level than when she was at the academy. (Trained Soft Physical to C Rank)

Knowing she can do better than that, Nagisa then had a shinobi start to throw shuriken at her. She needed to improve her speed much better if she was going to avoid getting struck. As she dashed she narrowly avoided shuriken being tossed at her from an angle. She slid down to reveal her newfound flexibility and capability to hold her own against the shinobi which was barraging her with shuriken. (Trained Soft Physical to B Rank)

Moving on to her scythe, Nagisa wanted to ensure that she had proper training which would make her basic movements with the scythe more fluid. She began to swing it around at a dummy but noticed she didn’t quite have enough strength backing each swing. Using her footing she back to further improve her stability while she swung for greater ease and cutting power. She wanted to be able to use this scythe better than she had been using it before and with the proficiency which befitting her skill. (Trained Long-Handled Sickle to C Rank)

Continuing her scythe training, she danced around and swung it in a circular motion allowing her form to improve with each swing. She made sure the dummy was being struck with greater force and grace. She also started to add jumping strikes as well as strikes from below which would catch the target in the swing of the scythe if they were not careful or cautiously watching where the blade was swung. This made her pleased as she felt she was now going to be more proficient with the scythe. (Trained Long-Handed Sickle to B Rank)

Returning to her base staple as a taijutsu specialist, she began by first sliding into a struck fist punch into the dummy. It was swung back with great force which showcased that she’s been doing this for a long time. She was no beginning in the least. She unleashed a flurry of blows into the dummy to the point where it barely could resist being flung all the way back. To further her training, she held up her arms and had another taijutsu user strike at her so she could practice her blocking. It was too easy for her at this point. (Trained Hard Physical to B Rank)

Taking on the bold pride of learning a new bukijutsu style, Nagisa took a scroll containing the secrets of the Iron Dragon Style. The first technique would be the Swift Deflection which involves parrying an attack with the blade and smashing the target with the hilt of the sword. She had another bukijutsu shinobi come assist her by attempting to strike her. Nagisa proceeded to slide forward and parry the incoming strike before slamming the hilt into his chest and knocking him back. It was a useful defensive counter that she enjoyed. (Trained Swift Deflection + Soaring Flight + Falling Star)

Next Nagisa was in the second stage of the style. She sought to learn the Turning Swallow Cut. She found a sturdy dummy and held her blade before her. Striking the katana downward and following up with an upward slice, she realized she needed more chakra in her system. Focusing chakra harder her swing was then even faster than before and she sliced through the dummy twice with great precision and force. It was a beautiful display that she did not desire to ignore. (Trained Turning Swallow Cut + Blade attunement + Double Lightning)

The third stage technique was Form Manipulation. This one meant that she would be able to manipulate chakra around her weapon to an even greater degree than previous. Holding the katana before her, she sought to recreate her scythe as a chakra extension of the katana, swinging the blade in a motion like a handle to it. To be able to do this was an extremely useful ability as she could now use her scythe in combat without taking it out. (Trained Form Manipulation + Drawing Cut + Thunder Strike)

Finishing out the third stage was the Pressure Wave technique. This technique was essentially a pressure wave of chakra sent outwards at a distance. A beautiful technique which would allow for ranged attacks while holding the katana. Focusing her chakra to the blade of the katana she swung it and unleashed the chakra in the crescent shape that it had suggested. She was quite proud of this discovery and accomplishment which would further enhance her power. (Trained Pressure Wave + Helmet Splitter + Two As One)

Building on the Vortex Counter, the Gale Force Twister in Kazekiri would have one blade orbit the other before launching it at the target like a shuriken. She focused chakra into the wakizashi and had it orbit the katana, holding the katana outwards like a launching pad. She then slashed her katana and whirled the wakizashi which spun rapidly like a shuriken towards the dummy. She did this twice and had it spiral around the target to return to the katana with a boomerang effect. Being able to do this one a larger blade than shuriken was very interesting to see. (Trained Gale Force Twister + Flash Wind + Silent Breeze)

Returning to her scythe style, she proceeded to learn the Hell’s Gate. So much speed is slashed with the scythe that a vacuum is formed sucking anything forward towards the user. She used her newfound strength from the formless training to assist her in this divine swing. Striking the vacuum before the dummy, it was being sucked towards the vacuum as if she has been doing this technique most of her life. It was a very interesting display to witness. (Trained Hell’s Gate + Corrupted Wind Training + Blood Offering)

Switching gears and putting away her scythe, Nagisa moved on to taijutsu training. She began training the fourth stage of the Fissure Style which involved a technique called Nerve Strike. Focusing on paralyzing the target with great speed but lesser strength, she dashed forward into her kicking flight and used a fellow shinobi to practice. She slammed her leg hard into his blocking arm, which caused it to go limp and hang. It was clear that this technique had many practical uses. (Trained Nerve Strike + Flying Fissure + Breaking Lariat + Invigorating Kaiser Armor Training)

Her next taijutsu style would be the channeling martial art. She would learn the Hidden Force technique. It was a very useful punch attack which would send a target flying with an elemental effect attached to them on impact. She used the same shinobi to assist her slamming her fist infused with wind style chakra into his chest. He was launched back a grand total of fifty feet due to the force and power behind the punch. A terrifyingly potent ability which could cause great damage. (Trained Hidden Force + Elemental Body Flickering + Harmonizing Elements + Explosive Striking)

She would turn her attention to her final taijutsu style. She would learn the Festering Chop which would build up strength and potentially reduce the target’s speed on impact. A scary technique indeed if it were to successfully land and damage the target. Using the same shinobi assist, she swung her chop at his shoulder cracking against it and causing the muscle to bubble and develop blisters. It was an extremely reddish area when it was all said and done. (Trained Festering Chop + Flying Jab)

Entering the dojo I look around smelling the air around me gently breathing it in before making my way over to a more secluded section of the area. Pulling out a scroll with the Chiru Clan's insignia on it I unfurl it, and I begin to read.

"Hm, so I should pick a part of my body to use for this.." muttering to myself as I read. I begin to imitate the hand signs drawn without releasing chakara so I can get used to the feeling of the hand signs, picking up speed as I do the hand signs over and over again commiting them to memory. "Well, here goes nothing" I then release the chakra to fuel the hand signs and slowly my left pinky starts tingling as the skin, muscle, and even bone turns into sakura petals. Choosing to send these foward a few feets and back to me. The petal gently shutter as they begin going forward, but quickly come back to form my pinky before going their full distance I had anticipated. (5 charaka used, chakara is now at 395 {Ori. Chakara 400})

Stretching my pinky to get the feeling back, I begin assesing what went wrong. "It must have been my control over the petals.. its much easier just making my buddy into petals than actually controlling it" Going through the motions again I put more control into how the chakara is used, like a surgeon with a scalpel. The familiar tingling in my pinky, and the scent of flowers blossoming comes to me once again. I hold the petals in place before sending them forward once again. They perfectly go the distance and back again. I smile to myself content with the results (5 charaka used, chakara is now at 390 {Ori. Chakara 400})

Within the confides of the Dojo, Takashi was hard at work, getting his daily dose of training in. Having borrowed a few items that from his family's shop, he was eager to get to work.

    Training Posts
【Learning: Fighting Stance; Thrust; Double Hit; Gatling Spear; Counter-Strike; Spinning Counter; Gouge】
Beginning first with a spear, Takashi went about practicing the basic techniques of the style. Once he had assumed the Fighting Stance, he performed several types of jabs with the spear, first a single Thrust, then a Double Strike and finally a flurry of Gatling Spear attacks. He even practiced the principles of the Gouge attack, focusing his charkra into some of his strikes. Of course, he made sure not to neglect the defensive side of things and made sure to work on his parrying, as to open up opportunities for a Counter-Strike, and even managed to work in a few Spinning Counters.
【Learning: Fighting Stance; Thrust; Double Hit; Gatling Spear; Counter-Strike; Spinning Counter; Gougeγ€‘βœ”

【Learning: Dragon's Direction; Disarming Strike; Dragon's Fang; Burning Blade; Shining Spear; Ancient Teachings; Rising Talon】
Now that he had warmed up with some of the more basic techniques, Takashi moved on to some of the more intermediate skills. To help alleviate the amount of chakra he was expending, Takashi utilized the practice of recycling through the Dragon's Direction. This made it far easier to practice the Dragon's Fang, Burning Blade, and Disarming Strike techniques, even though the last one didn't actually require any chakra itself. As he continued to practice, his understanding of the Ancient Teachings deepened, furthering his control of his chakra as he performed the Shining Spear and Rising Talon techniques.
【Learning: Dragon's Direction; Disarming Strike; Dragon's Fang; Burning Blade; Shining Spear; Ancient Teachings; Rising Talonγ€‘βœ”

    【Learning: Dragon Rush; Dragon's Maw; Dragon's Appetite; Golden Spear; Dragon's Tail; Dragon's Horde; Dragon's Lair】
Finally, Takashi turned his attention towards a selection of the most advanced techniques the style had to offer. Interestingly, many of the techniques seemed to produce effects that conjured aspects of a dragon (Dagon's Maw, Dragon's Appetite, and Dragon's Tail). This draconic theme was also present in the Dragon Rush, Dragon's Horde and Dragon's Lair techniques, though unlike the others, these did not produce any sort of dragon-based imagery. The only technique he came across that didn't seem to have anything to do with dragons at all was the Golden Spear technique, which was derived from several previous techniques he had learned.
    【Learning: Dragon Rush; Dragon's Maw; Dragon's Appetite; Golden Spear; Dragon's Tail; Dragon's Horde; Dragon's Lairγ€‘βœ”

【Learning: Side Stance; Counter-Offensive; Double Block; Forceful Gap; Fluid Transfer; Cross Strike; Disarming Strike】
Setting aside his spear, Takashi pulled out the pair of Tonfa he had brought with him. Like before, he began by assuming the proper form, taking the Side Stance to better support the strength of his attacks. However, before actually diving into any of the style's offensive techniques, he first practiced the defensive skills of the Counter-Offensive and the Double Block, which flowed well into the Fluid Transfer and Forceful Gap, respectfully. This training prepared him well for the more advanced defensive technique Disarming Strike, as well as the offensive technique Cross Strike.
【Learning: Side Stance; Counter-Offensive; Double Block; Forceful Gap; Fluid Transfer; Cross Strike; Disarming Strikeγ€‘βœ”

【Learning: Full Circle Slam; Parting Waves; Fortuitous Bracing; Reaper's Kiss; Training: 1,000,000 Blows; Parting Gift; Brutal Thrust】
Continuing to dive into offensive techniques, Takashi next studied up on the Full Circle Slam, Parting waves, and Reaper's Kiss. Of course, he made sure not to neglect the defensive side of things, practicing the principles of Fortuitous Bracing. Along with this, he also the training of 1,000,000 Blows, further improving his offensive strikes. From here, he practiced the Parting Gift and Brutal Thrust techniques.
【Learning: Full Circle Slam; Parting Waves; Fortuitous Bracing; Reaper's Kiss; Training: 1,000,000 Blows; Parting Gift; Brutal Thrustγ€‘βœ”

While weapons were Takashi's preference in combat, he knew that there may be times that he found himself unarmed so he wanted to make sure he had some taijutsu under his belt. However, he didn't exactly plan on ever being disarmed, so he wanted a style that didn't rely on his hands since he would most likely be holdings weapons at all times. Thus, the Fissure Kicking style seemed right up his alley.

【Learning: Round Fissure; Side Fissure; White Fissure; Hooking Fissure; Upper Fissure; Double Fissure; Straight Fissure】
Keeping his tonfa out to better practice what it would be like to perform the techniques while holding weapons, Takashi began with a simple repetition of Round Fissure and Side Fissure attacks. This eventually led into the practice of the White Fissure, essentially a flying round fissure, and the Hooking Fissure. He also practiced the Upper Fissure and Straight Fissure techniques. As he became more accustomed to the various kicking techniques, he found that they synergized well with each other, creating various Double Fissure combinations.
【Learning: Round Fissure; Side Fissure; White Fissure; Hooking Fissure; Upper Fissure; Double Fissure; Straight Fissureγ€‘βœ”

【Learning: Nerve Strike; Flying Fissure; Moving Fissure; Absorb and Redirect; Triple Fissure】
Once Takashi felt he had a good grasp on the basics, he moved on to the style's more advanced techniques. First, he practiced the Flying Fissure, a technique similar to the white fissure but better designed for breaking through an enemy's defenses. He then devoted some time to the Nerve Strike technique, an attack that, while lacking in power, delivered quite the hit. As he went about kicking, he did his best to employ the skills of the Moving Fissure, allowing him to redirect his kicks mid technique, which he was sure would come in handy. Finally, he concluded his training by studying the Absorb and Redirect technique and the Triple Fissure.
    【Learning: γ€‘βœ”

Finishing his training, Takashi exited the dojo.
