[ OUTSIDE ] - Supporting/Needs Support

Someone was seriously asking if Lawrence was okay, after her announcement. Caroline groaned with annoyance, leaning more dependently on Liam as she worked to regain her faith in humanity.

"Really?! Yes, Lawr's ******** fine. He did it on purpose and--and left." Arguing this so publicly was kind of a vindicating feeling, and helped to counteract the irritating stinging from the insects on her skin.

"How--why do these hurt so bad?" The whine followed Liam's commentary on them, though she was substantially less tolerant of the insects. Could they get through her shield like the red runics? Would they give them diseases?

As with many other things she'd witnessed today, she tried not to think about it. Which wasn't that hard, when they emerged at the mouth of an actual Sarlacc pit. An actual Sarlacc pit.

"Yeah, it's a--so, a Sarlacc--you know how long it took Boba Fett to get out of one of these? It's thirty years--to anyone who doesn't know." A pause, as she tested the 'ground' in front of them, careful to avoid pulling Liam down if the sand caved in beneath her. "That means--that means get out. Now."

A wobbly step landed on a tooth, and she cringed, still trying to help Liam across before her.

"Harper? Do you see Harper?" she asked, squinting at the teeth through the sudden sunlight. "Anyone else we should be looking for?"

Outside - Needing Support and Supporting Matt

Oh s**t s**t s**t s**t s**t. He should have noticed that. Should have been more careful and pulled Matt back and away from the falling rocks when that happened. But look at what happened now.

Kyle was berating himself over and over as gloved hands worked as fast as they could at lifting the rocks and tossing them aside in the hope of unearthing Matt whom he presumed was trapped beneath. It was only when the Sun heard Matt answer his call from the other side of the rock pile and saw his face shortly after that he finally managed to calm his frayed nerves some instead of assuming the worst possible outcome for the other hunter.

"Ok. Let's get you out and keep moving then."

Following Matt's lead out of the cave and into the sun, he stopped himself just in the nick of time to see what exactly had the Moon swearing about. A giant mouth full of razor sharp teeth that was rather strategically located directly between them and their portal home. Search and rescue mission his a**. This was in all likeness a trap to either kill or capture them hunters for whatever macabre experiments that the horsemen had up their proverbial sleeves.

Taking a moment to look over his surroundings, he spied a relatively sturdy looking albeit narrow ledge across the gigantic mouth on their left and tugged on Matt's sleeve to try to get his attention. " Over there. You're hurt so you should go first. I'll be right behind you ok?"

The headset was around her neck, the voices lost as she was busy doing what she could pointing out paths and helping others get across towards the portal avoiding the razor like teeth in the sand. It wasn’t until the two figures emerged from the dark tunnel that relief washed over as she started to jump wildly waving her hands in the air for their attention.

“CAROLINE! LIAM! GO THIS WAY!” She pointed to the left hoping they would understand.

Part 2: Outside : Supporting

Sy had waited and waited. soon a few more hunters came out of the cave. they were injured but escaped alive.

He had watched the poor girl stumble as she tried to carry her friend along to safety. That's when he decided to use his last defense support.

Summoning Ia once more, the boy used his weapon to cast a path towards the portal. Sy didn't know the girl's name or the guy's but he assumed she was called Caroline, and the other Liam as another hunter screamed at them at the top of her lungs.

Sy: Moon Hunter
Moon: You may roll your defensive dice instead of your offensive ones for support. If you do, it is now 2d4 for trainee with NO modifier. You can only use this on two people max.

Part 2: Crossing to the portal : Supporting if needed

Seeing that the freaky gaping mouth has grown wider and wider, the newbie hunter decided to actually cross the path that was carved out for him by the more experienced hunter from earlier. He will have to find a different day to properly thank her. The last stretch heading back to Deus had become rather chaotic. The boy de-summoned his weapon and was ready to go.

Step by step, even if it was small ones since his feet were still in pain, but less bleeding at the soles - he managed to move across the path as carefully as he could while balancing his weight and trying not to fall.

Sy took a quick look around out of curiosity just to observe the other hunters. There were a lot of new faces; None he had met yet. Perhaps sometime in the future, or never, he thought. He didn't care that he was not being remembered. He didn;t like being the center of attention anyway.

[ THE TUNNELS: Shu's Exit Point ]

Shu couldn't really understand Dwight's English, she tilted her head at them. Luckily the clever Life seemed to have the idea. Mostly, she realized the girl in front of them was what Taym had warned them in the past, a clone indeed. It might be the worst thing to see your beloved sister became a monstrous clone, even she wasn't the original one.

Mimsy didn't say yes to his request immediately made the petite Death tilted her head for a second time. Yet, knowing Mimsy had her own plan, she waited for them while her eyes traveled back and forth between the two looked into each other's eyes. She felt an undescriptable connection they might possess and didn't want to interrupt with it. Eventually, it ended with a wonderful hug.

"I'll try my best!" Shu beamed with sincerity when Mimsy entrusted her with such an important task. She gently put Dwight's arm onto her small shoulder and turned back to Mimsy. "Be safe too, Mimsy. We, Robert, Peter - your family's waiting for you to come home." She used another hand to wave goodbye at the Life.

Then the perfect moment was destroyed by Mark's voice somewhere, maybe from the headset, maybe nearby. She flashed a frown slightly, judging if she should listen to him but finally forgive him again. It must be some friend secret code, she convinced herself. If not the Death Assistant had showed great concern over the safety of Dwight....."Mr. Dwight, Uncle Mark wants to know what's your favourite pokemon before I found you?" There was a rare deadpanned expression when she said so.

"Well, mine is Charizard," said Mark to Rep, as if comparing pokemon e-peens was the most important thing thing right now. A pause. "Mega Charizard X."

It was in that sequence that Mark heard Caroline through the headset and responded with a, sigh, "Look, Rogue Nine, it's not a Sarlacc Pit, it's a titan class Sarlacc Pit, there is a difference okay."

He was waiting for Caroline's response to probably ask what a titan was when he heard Shu's question through the headset-

- And behind him. His head practically did a full one-eighty degrees backwards as he took two steps, suddenly backed up two steps, and checked to make sure he had his weapon and runics. "Err cover me okay, there may be clones." This was said to Rep.

About five seconds later Mark bravely charged into the room, weapon clutched in both hands, and looked around blindly. As he hadn't actually heard Dwight's response through the headset, he did the only thing he knew would make sure his bro was actually his bro as he focused where Shu was focused. "Your turn to tag me in the ORP, bro."
