Alright, it was time to get back to work. Mahuyah had moisturized her skin and taken a couple of swigs of water from her water bottle before repacking her bag. She felt so much better, even though it was only a few minutes, and grabbed her fourth tent on her way back to the group. She opened it up and frowned a little: this was a different design. Without even bothering to try to piece it together, she hunted down the instructions to follow instead, hoping these would be easier to read.

 Wood CollectorAmount of wood the group has:487 “ Oh its no problem at all, I can take-“ Samhain started and then trailed off as Azura finished speaking first and took the load. He felt off center for a while and held on to his own pieces of wood. There was a questioning feeling running through him from Salem, but he was still okay. He brought himself back to normal by picking up some more pieces of wood. It looked like they were getting really close to being done the last time he had dropped off wood and so he only added about five pieces to the pile.
“Well then I will definitely keep an eye out for you, although you’ll probably spot me first considering my girlfriend is very pink so we make this nice bright watermelon apparently when we walk around.” Samhain replied to Nashira’s comment. “and yeah I could show you some of my art, although its definitely not as nice as the art students.” His thoughts then drifted to his own familiars. One was actually with him on the trip, although it was napping in his backpack. He hadn’t quite meant to take the critter but it had jumped in while he was trying to run out the door. he had thought he was running late and it wasnt as if Dublin didn't often get into his pocket to hitch a ride. It knew how to stay safe for the most part. “Familiars are always nice to own, except for when they sneak into your bag when you’re going on dangerous journeys. I actually have one of mine on me. Well not at the moment. He’s in my bag back at camp. If we keep to this group for the rest of the trip. You’ll probably see him quite a lot. “

Amount of tents the group has made: 26  After that, the tent pitching seemed to get easier and the enthusiastic Geist cheered on her new friends and those around her. "Whoo hoo!" she called. "We've got the hang of it now, right?" She giggled as she worked on her tent. She finally got it put together and sighed, flopping back onto the grass.
Not for the first time, Ghester crossed her mind as she went to work on another tent. This would probably go so much easier if the Grimm were here to help. Ah, well. He was probably having more fun gathering wood. She smiled and spread the pieces out to check them.

 Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 26 T'kani hurried to secure the tent after it was finished, just as a gust of wind blew the unsecured side over and flopped the completed tent on top of her. Sprawled out with a tent laying sideways on top of her, she carefully worked to get out from underneath it without shredding the surprisingly flimsy thing, getting dirt all over her clothes.
Brushing the dirt from her fur, she resisted the urge to kick the tent into bits, and flipped it back upright before checking to make sure it wasn't broken.

His good luck was apparently short lived, as the next tent bag was incredibly heavy.... after struggling to get it back with the others,he discovered that it had rocks in it??? Why??? He had to remove them from the area before he could even consider building the tent...

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 26 Harley appreciated this small gift. She looked down at the pink star clip in her hand. It seemed to match the Geist perfectly. It was very adorable and probably the brightest thing the hybrid had on her at the moment. She brushed her bangs from her face, revealing the light golden glow of her eyes against the black scalera. "This is a big help, thank you so much! I won't forget to return it!" she readied herself to have another go at building the next tent.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 492  Bridgette looked around and followed an interesting shadow on a whim. She didn't know where it would go or what it was but it seemed like a good idea. She looked around and found 5 pieces of wood that wasn't rotten or messed up. She walked back over to the pile and very carefully set her pieces down. She made sure she didn't send any of the pieces of wood tumbling to the ground and surveyed the area pleased with how things were going. She smiled and hoped that the others would be almost done soon. She wished she could help them out. She didn't like being here and not being able to help people out. She sighed and looked around more.

However...Looking at those nearby, she couldn't help but feel...like she shouldn't be doing so well. Empty bags? Bags with rocks? Unlucky wind gusts?
Rocking back on her heels, she pursed her lips as her bangs were blown into her eyes. Dang.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 495  Aurora shrugged as she went out and only found 3 good pieces of wood she wasn't worried though, since one of her teammates would surely find the last of the wood they were tasked with gathering before she had time to go back to camp and then back out once again.

Success! Mahuyah felt a huge surge of confidence as she managed to get this next tent pitched up. She was so glad that the instructions for this last one had been so much clearer. The diagrams had made perfect sense. She was now on to the next one, heading back to get the next tent.

Nadi grinned. "Yeah, for sure, team work makes it go faster. ... And thanks for the invite, I appreciate it."
"I'm Nadinia. It's nice to meet you." Scooping up a small branch, she glanced at Callixtus. "What's Grendel like? I want to be a flower designer, but I always sort of figured I'd go back Above for that, but I've heard good things..." That would sure show her parents.

Tromping back towards the trees, she scooped up another few branches. She looked around for Nashira, wondering how her seat mate was doing. Spotting her she gave her a quick wave, hoping the other girl saw, before heading back to the now much larger wood pile.
She deposited her armload, and gave the pile a sharp assessment. "Huh. I think we might be done. " She glanced around for Claire, wanting their opinion. She quietly approached their guide, wanting to be polite. "Excuse me Claire, could you come have a look at the wood pile? I think we have enough?"

Amount of tents the group has made: 27 She smiled and waved at Harley. "No problem! I'm happy to help," she said as she came back with another tent pack. "You've got really pretty eyes," she observed, "Why do you keep them covered up without your bangs like that?" She smiled easily, just curious about why anyone would want to hide such pretty eyes. Her own were the only thing about her that wasn't pink (not counting her clothes!) and she wouldn't want to cover them up.
On second thought, she hoped Harley didn't think she was being nosy. Bibi knew she had a tendency to ask too many questions but she couldn't help it!

She looked pleased as she managed to get this one set up too. "I have no idea how I got this, really..." She paused, then looked at him, wishing she could offer to assist him, but knowing it was against the rules AND he'd probably be offended. "I'm guessing this set are a different style then you're used to, huh?"
"And yeah! Spectrefoxes, in my observations, are a good choice! I don't have one yet, but someday, I will. And... Yeah if slithering bothers you, definitely a coatl is bad choice. Maybe when we get back, I can take you to a shop to meet some spectrefoxes?" She spoke as if there was every reason to think they'd see each other again, after this.Tangled Puppet Sorry I was so long, was out most of today!

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 29 Despite her best efforts, she ended up snapping another pole and tearing the tent fabric. Surely she wouldn't try to leave either as-is, but it was still frustrating to need replacements for both.
Maybe she should have filed down her claws a bit better...

Claire heard Nadinia call over as she approached, head perking up. They had begun prepping dinner, setting ingredients down to give her a bright smile in greeting.
"Sure can!" Trotting over to the wood pile, Claire bent over, inspecting the wood closely before, with a satisfied sigh, they straightened up, giving the group a thumbs up.
"Wow! You guys did great! Go ahead and rest while we wait for the tent people to finish up, yeah? Great job, team!" Their tone genuinely sounded impressed, giving each person of the wood collecting group a giant, doofy grin before returning to food.
