Sensing that Lairon was too much the trainer sent out his secret weapon, Prinplup. Lairon was super weak to the evolved form of the water Pokemon so Simon returned him. Contemplating his choices knowing he could use Yveltal but that would happen if Whirlipede couldn't defeat the water Pokemon. Sending out the poison bug Pokemon Whirlipede looked up at Simon, it had been awhile. Smiling at his friend he pointed at the Prinplup and told him Poison Tail.

Simon guessed that the trainer hoped that Lairon was out of the game since the next Pokemon was Electrike. Returning Whirlipede Simon held the Pokeball to his lips, “Great job, rest for now.” With that he sent out Lairon again, instead of switch Seedot out he called Lairon over to heal him up before ending this battle. Removing a Moomoo Milk he let his Pokemon drink it gaining all of his HP back. Tucking the bottle away so that he could recycle it later Lairon turned and braced for the first attack

The last Pokemon was another electric type Pokemon and Simon decided to go for bust and have Lairon use Super Power. It was his best move even though it lowered his defense and attack. After smashing into the foe Lairon got wrapped by a binding attack. Even with the lowered attack and defense Lairon was strong enough to pull itself into the Eel Pokemon slamming into it again this time hard enough for it to release Lairon, roll a few times then come to a rest. Returning Lairon after cheering for him he put the ball away, that was six. “Sorry, I rushed you like that,” the trainer said looking down. “It's okay, just check next time.” With that he started to the main entrance as the announcement of the festival coming to an end. He collected enough for another Mysterious Incense but not the reset herb thing. So he'd collect the item he wanted the continue raising his team up.
