That was a relief. Hearing her compliment humanity in general....Talking about how they had taken care of the Trumpeter, and how she warned them of what was to come. It was...foreboding, yet at the same time....Assuring that she would place her faith in them as well. He bowed his head deeply, still stuck in the formality that he attempted to carry himself with.
"We will overcome them. All of them" he called out confidently to the woman, looking at her with stern, serious eyes. He had no intention of falling after everything he'd been doing that day...And was sure that every one of his allies felt the same.
"I'll trust you two as well..' he added, nodding firmly. "If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have had this chance...and for that, I am grateful. As his lover...I trust you as well, Miss Ravenna."
She had a firm, serious air about her...But, it didn't worry the boy. Rather, it made him feel...At ease. The serious kinds that could speak truthfully, and command such respect were the kind of people he needed right now...Though..

"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"Finally, he had found him...the Lord of Flies, Belzaboul! It hadn't been long since he had left the strange little diner called 'Troitown' and started off towards the edge of the station when the massive, insect body of the Hellfiend had greeted him, standing at the center of a wide plaza near the far end of the area. It was too close to the diner...far too close for him to feel comfortable simply letting it stay there, when it could come that way and ruin such a beautiful bastion of harmony between man, demon, angel, and burger! That kind of a place needed to be preserved in a world like this one, a place where people could find a sanctuary. And with nobody else out here right now, anything could happen...it could move at any time and destroy it all! Gone in an instant was the amusing whimsy that he had been experiencing as he had walked out of the diner and down the station's paths, and replacing it was a stern determination, twin swords filling his hands as he called out his own Metatron to aid him in the fight to come. Belzaboul laughed as he approached slowly, and his footsteps were heavy as he started to lumber towards the silver-haired senior to greet his challenge directly.
It was a Showdown at the Okina City Corral!

Koji Masahiko Mori  Things were worse by the minute, and he needed just a minute to breathe and think of a plan. This was a familiar feeling, one that he did not embrace or enjoyed, but one that the younger son of Mori knew about. He had spent years with his mother, both of them surviving in the wild with scraps and whatever they could find to avoid the Corrupted, before they found the safe haven that had been the Resistance. For years he had seen her fight, protecting him, fighting with compassion and giving out more than what she received. He had been too young and naive to understand...but now, he cold only look at that behavior like sentimentality that would only get you killed. Trusting others would have your back in dire situations was a mistake he would never commit again.
So now, he wandered on his own, keeping low, just observing...calculating...waiting for the appropriate time to strike. Idly, he wondered if his father was doing just that...coming up with a plan, liberating his people from this madness. And his mother? Was she alive now? Or had she died protecting someone who didn't deserve it?

Koji Masahiko Mori A demon foolishly believed it could ambush him, and now it was paying the consequences. The small ball of flames flickered dangerously under Koji's foot, and before it could extinguish entirely, he stepped back, giving it a chance to join him or perish. The face on the flames contorted but relented, returning to the boy's phone in magatsuhi. He wouldn't turn forces away, specially if they worked in his favor. For now...he just needed to keep going. Koji Masahiko Mori The Lord of Flies was the target. He could hear fighting cries in the distance, people struggling to keep their heads out of the water, barely surviving against the bigger foes. Things were getting worse, but the people fighting wasn't his concern. He had no need to work together with anyone for the time being...He wasn't opposed to it if it meant defeating another of the Fiends, and finding a way out of this place...but for now, on his own, he'd survive. Koji Masahiko Mori "Pathetic..." The small horde of Obariyon surrounding him yipped and closed in on the dark haired Mori, and he could only sigh. His Red ring wasn't working for reasons he could only pressume, but that did not stop him from actually defending himself against the threat. He had ordered his two demons to search the area, keeping vigilant in close of an ambush...and as one of the smaller demons jumped to land an attack on him, his own Preta tackled it away. Koji Masahiko Mori Word spread fast, and it wasn't long before another horde had found the Prince of the Wasteland. The young man pushed his glasses back and let out a sigh as he commanded his demons forward. There were four of them, and while his own forces were enough to handle most of them, one managed to escape them, closing in on Koji. A hiss alerted him of the imminent attack, but his reflexes were quick enough to sidestep and counter with a back slap that sent the demon rolling on its back. "Foolish things, keep away now. Koji Masahiko Mori Okina city wasn't one Koji knew personally. It wasn't familiar to the boy, and he found himself in a disadvantage that irked him to no end. At least Tokyo he had some sense of direction, despite the ruins and decaying world...and the ruins of Inaba had been his 'home' during those years hiding his his mother. She would sometimes talk to him about the neighboring town of Okina, and how she had liked watching movies in the cinema, or wandering idly through the stores in the station. Now, there was nothing of those things standing. There was a building that he could only assume was the cinema she had talked about so fondly during her youth, now only a wall standing, everything else overrun by desperate survivors or demons that had been looking for more destruction in their wake.

Koji Masahiko Mori The way to the University wouldn't be an easy one, the young Mori knew. Even if there were less demons than before (there were more survivors out there doing their work too) there were still dangerous Fiends and powerful demons that would cause trouble to anyone. Koji moved with caution, and at the sight of a bigger demon with a Norse insignia appeared close by, he took refuge inside an abandoned karaoke parlor. It was small, but enough to avoid being noticed by the bigger demon. He could feel the ground rumbling, and once he knew it had passed, the young man narrowed his eyes.

This time, a stronger one..designated by the Crimson Serpent himself. She readied her blade at this, telling her Setanta to sit back and watch.
The Celtic warrior watched her slowly approach their target...A rather powerful demon indeed...
A colorful Dionysis, who was reveling in a party...Held to prepare for an onslaught.
Youmu simply strode past all of the soliders at his side, bypassing the too-drunk-to-care oni that were guarding the area....And in a movement so quick Setanta could barely follow it...
The deed was done. The demon laid out on the ground, and burst into Magastsuhi. The girl swiftly retreated from the area, giving him a small nod.
"Do you see now, what must be done?" she called, wiping her blade. "Be quick..Be Efficient...and always have an exit strategy."

"I wish these Oni would stop harassing me...Or at least use some mouthwash."Youmu paused at this, but held up her phone, giving the demon a final out for the situation.
