((Er...well, there are creature things and they're attacking the hut or something...))
Aila staggered as the creature fell in front of her, but dug her knife into the thing's neck without hesitation once she regained her balance. The creature let out a howl of pain and remained motionless after that, but Aila still stabbed at its neck with her knife several more times before ceasing her attack.

((They're actually a little ways away from the hut, near the city limits, so we'll just pretend that Aila followed Jessica and just arrived now and killed the thing after Keme tripped it, ok?
@ oracle: Do you still only have access to internet every other weekend or are you just busy?))
Jessica stared wide-eyed at the two girls who slayed the last creature. Keme, as young as she looked, couldn't really be a little girl. And Aila, who had seemed so afraid before had dug her knife into the beast without hesitation, even after it was dead.
Panting, Jessica breathed a "Wow..." and flopped down into a sitting position. She winced in pain and lifted her shirt and jacket to reveal a large bruise on her side. "Stupid beast..." She said tiredly, and leaned against a tree to rest.

Sarah blinked at the display of altruism performed by the complete strangers that surrounded her. When the creature was safely not heading towards her, she took the opportunity to use her hands and feet to jump up into standing position, pointing her gun at the creature, only moments before Jessica pulled her spectacular move in stabbing the creature to death. Almost immediately, she held her gun up at everyone, still blinking out sleepiness, now obviously quite awake. She moved it back and forth at each person. What were they going to do to her? She knew they discovered her surveillance equipment and that suspected that they knew she was spying on them. But now, it was her against all of them, and she didn't know what to do. She couldn't be captured.
"Who are you all?" she asked, still waving her gun.

Keme glared at the woman, "Put that thing down before you get hurt," with that Keme moved from where she was over to Aila and Jessica. Keme placed a hand on Aila's shoulder and looked at her with a kind caring face of a child. "Are you alright? That was rather brave of you, both of you." Keme looked at Jessica as well when she said the last part. Secretly she was scanning for any more hidden creatures hiding around the small clearing in the middle of ruined buildings. When the scan came back all clear, Keme was quite relieved. The wounds on her arms where completely healed with only dyed blood on her arms to indicate there ever was a deep puncture.
"As for you, miss." Keme said lookeding back around military woman, "I believe it would be best for you to use your head instead of your gun. How did the human race survive past the 1940's I'll never know. If they only teach you shoot now ask later then its a marvel the world isn't in further ruin." Keme looked away from the women around her and at the ruined buildings listening to the sound the wind made. Everything was so... empty."Heh the Depression was a walk in the park compared to this..." Keme said aloud not paying attentiopn to the present company around her. She was from the 1930's and they all in ways seemed like children compared to her. And what she wanted most was to be a normal child something this age didn't allow her to be.

Jessica glanced towards the military woman, and sighed. Having a gun waved and pointed at her was annoying. By looking at the woman's equipment she guessed that her first assumption was correct; she had been spying on the cabin. "Shouldn't you already know who we are?" she said mocklingly under her breath just quiet enough so the woman couldn't hear her, and got up to pull her dagger out of the dead beast.
Jessica nodded in reply at Keme, and said "Yes, you showed a fair share of bravery yourself," referring to the creature that was already slain when she'd arrived and the trip that helped kill the last one.
Looking back towards the woman, she softened her stare a little and asked "I don't think we need to tell you anything. But you're out here for a purpose, obviously. So, tell us, who are you?"

She glared back at Keme, who obviously didn't know her very well. She was never one to shoot now, ask later, or whatever she said. It annoyed her that this person- wait, wasn't she human? Why did she speak so low of other humans? One glance at her arm confirmed that she wasn't. Sarah shuddered for a moment before she glanced at Jessica, her question waiting for an answer. Sarah was shocked, no, more annoyed, that these people- creatures- whatever- didn't listen to someone holding a loaded gun up to them. She thought back to the super-healing power of Keme, and realized that the gun probably didn't scare them at all, perhaps didn't even affect them.
She lowered the gun and placed it back in her belt. She ignored Jessica's question, as she had always been trained not to give out too much information. "So what are you going to do with me? Kill me? Take me prisoner? Well, get it over with. They'll come looking for me eventually, and you're sitting ducks out here. I owe you for saving my life, so call this warning payment."
She hated being so hard on strangers, but it was the only way she knew to handle situations like these. Keep a tough exterior. She had no idea who they were or what they wanted. All she knew is she was to spy on them, and now look, she failed at that. She didn't think they meant any harm. However, caution was always on her agenda.

Keme was about to respond when something came up on her area scan, somthing she continually did after that brush with the creatures, and it was moving towards them. "Not again" she muttered and pulled out the hand gun she had "borrowed" from Sarah with no intention of giving it back. Straightening up Keme aimed ready for whatever it was.... or so she thought....
Hoerwick, being old and all, hadn't been very fast at running and was panting when he came around the corner. Already furious with her Hoerwick rounded the corner to see Keme with a gun aimed in front of the others. "Keme! What are you doing with that thing?! How could you be so careless and wander off BY YOUR SELF!" He went on his soapbox sort of speak as he moved forward to Keme who had lowered the gun and continued to repremend her totally ignoring the others around him.
Keme looked down at the dirt and ash in front of her unable to look Hoerwick in the eyes. If she ever thought of anyone as a father figure it was him. Making him made was something rare for her though, this however probably deserved a repremend. The look on Keme's face clearly resembled that of a child who's parent had caught them red handed with their hand in the cookie jar before dinner. She waited for him to notice the dead creatures and yell at her for putting the others in danger too.

Jessica stared at Sarah, knowing that she wouldn't give any information. Military personnel are trained not to. "Well, I'm not saying anything either," She decided to herself, arguing to herself in a child-like manner. She didn't like it when things didn't go her way, even if she couldn't help it.
"Alright... I vote for taking her prisoner!" Jessica said cheerfully, smiling as if she was setting up a party. But the smile was gone when Keme tensed up and pointed the gun. She looked to her right and there was Hoerwick, looking incredibly angry. "Whoops..." Jessica thought. She felt bad for Keme in a way; she really didn't do anything bad on purpose. "But...What WAS she doing, anyway?"

Hoerwick, finally pausing for air, took note of the first time the other woman near him who he didn't recognize, "Is this her?"
Keme waited for Hoerwick to stop or find something else to yell at her for. "I'm sorry," she finally said when her had stopped his ranting. All she could really say bacause he asked her another question. She hesitated not sure if this was a question she was or wasn't suppose to answer because he planned to go on. When he didn't go on but looked even more inpatient as he waited for her answer Keme hurriedly said, "Yes, this is the woman I found asleep out here earlier."

((Eek! I haven't been on in so long!))
Aila, quite befuddled by the whole situation, satisfied herself with pulling her knife out of the long dead creature's neck, cleaning it, and putting it back in her belt. She sat down, ignoring the fact that the ground was quite dirty, bloodstained, and filled with rotting things of all sorts. As much as she tried to keep up with and understand what was going on, her mind seemed unable to grasp anything at the moment and she got more and more confused the more she tried to understand. So, soon enough, Aila's mind was wandering and she began to daydream.

Sarah crossed her arms and waited impatiently. She would never hear the end of this from the General. Would he even welcome her back?
Yet, she felt a great deal of comfortability out here, around these people. She wanted more to be with them than to go back to that compound. As long as she wouldn't be surrounded by the rather frightening violent creations she had been trying to kill, she would be fine. In the back of her mind, her morals feuded with one another. What if these people didn't want to comply with her and run from the creatures, to stand against them like the General wanted? Would she shoot them? She had shot other people before with not so much as a conscience, as it had been trained out of her. Besides, she had shot terrorists, threats to her country and others. They were notoriously dangerous. These people, they seemed quit innocent. Though she was convinced that they wouldn't harm her at the moment, she was still a little cautious about what they were capable of later on.
Suddenly she found herself doubling over, a intense wave of nausea overthrowing her, and vomited on the ground several times. Violent coughing immediately followed, her body trying to rid itself of the rest of the contents of her stomach.

Aila noticed the new woman vomiting . Had the woman mentioned her name? Aila could not remember. Her head was spinning and she felt dizzy. She wanted to ask if the woman was alright, but a small whine came out of her mouth in place of words. Her vision began to blur and she rested her head in her palms.

((Keme can be like those SourSweet gummie kids on tv lol))
Keme moved over to the woman steadying her. After preforming a quick bioscan to make sure it wasn't lethal she said, "You'll live but you wont be able to defend yourself long enough for you to make it to the base. And the military partrols wont find you in time." Keme looked up to see Aila was sick-looking too. "I'm sorry for causing any grief for you, Aila," Keme said in a kinder voice then she usually used. Kind-Keme was something ofter hidden since the event at the labratory where she use to live.

After she was able to stand up and recover from her sudden bout of sickness, she looked to Keme, who had actually helped her. She found this to be surprising. Why were they helping her? This concept was foreign to her. But one thing was right. She didn't feel like doing much of anything at the moment, and she definitely wouldn't be able to make it to the base. Did she even want to go back now?
Sarah nodded at Keme. "Erm," she couldn't find it in herself to thank the woman for helping her. Instead she turned around and slowly began to gather her things into her bag, the goggles, the scanner- everything. She took a swig of her water, swished it around in her mouth, and spit it out, trying to rid herself of the sickening taste of vomit in her mouth. She bent over to zip up her bag and caught a glimpse of something curious. She reached in and pulled out a small metal container, turning it over in her hands, feeling her heart drop as she came to a realization.
...She didn't take the right pills.
