Niko just watched as the pair of togepis found caring trainers to look after them. As he observed the shattered shells in the nest, he noticed something darting through the tall grass. IS it another Victreebell?He dropped his backpack and called for Piko. "Piko, follow that pokemon!" The trainer/healer ran through the tall grass as he made his Togekiss into a tracker. "You are doing a good job! Just follow whatever that is without losing him!" Mahogany Sunset in case you are around to chase after the mystery pokemon and Niko who's running around again XD roll 1 - 6 total - 6

 They were beginning to close in on the mysterious creature. Juno's long stride still easily carried her forward, her enthusiasm returning. {39/50}

As he ran he saw other trainers giving chase to this mystery. Deep down inside he hoped to be another Victreebell, but a more gentler one. But if it ended up being a furry friend, he won't complain either.
He focused his eyes on the parting of grass and on his pokemon as he ran. His whole body felt a lot lighter and quicker to move around without that heavy backpack over his shoulders.

Desdemona managed to dart around ahead of the traveling grass-rustle and leered in its face, attempting to stop it in its tracks. But after a moment's pause, the creature had sped around her in turn and they were off again. {44/50}

The pokemon was fast! When he had almost caught up to it, it somehow had a boost of energy and sped off again at lightning speed.
He was thankful to himself for staying fit. All the running and bench-presses he does at the gym seemed to have paid off. There was no shortage of breath and he could continue to keep on running and watching Piko give chase too. Birds are known to fly fast and he was happy that his pokemon was willing to give chase too.

Emalthya watched the togepis go to their new homes with a small amount of regret. They were barrels of cute.
Pheonix noticed the rattle and the rustle and poked her arm to get her attention.
"Oh," said Emalthya. "Does this seem strange to you, Pheonix? It seems like we're being lead somewhere. Well, maybe it's somewhere good!"
Pheonix privately didn't share her confidence but he hurried along with her while she followed the rattling sound.

"Pi - kooo!" chirped the Togekiss as he chased the unknown pokemon in the grass. Wait up, just what are you? His wings flapped harder as he saw the creature speed up again. Unlike the ground, there was nothing in the air that he would fly into and knock himself out. However, he had slight worries for his trainer. Hopefully he won't trip over a rock or branch.
At that moment, a few thorns from a free branch latched itself onto the middle part of Niko's pants. "Ah!" he screamed, and tugged on his pants as he watched the thorns rip it apart. "Guess I will have to donate these after this trip," he laughed, "or use them as gardening pants," and watched where his pokemon has gone. After pausing for a short moment to free himself from the prickle bush, he continued to give chase.

Juno still wasn't even sure if she'd care for the Pokémon who emerged at the end of this chase. But the hunt was exhilarating. {50/50}

While he ran he tried to count just how many others decided to give chase to this creature. He recognized a few trainers that were around when trying to catch the bellsprouts and togepis but eventually lost count since his head bobbed up and down in the uneven grassy field, making it impossible to focus on the people around him.
With a free hand he pushed strands of hair out of his face. The light breeze felt great on his skin as he ran. If only I took a bottle of water with me. I am getting dehydrated soon..

Emalthya continued after the rattling noise, high stepping over the grass. "This is a bother!" she said.
Pheonix simply barreled away through the grass heedlessly. He put out his claw for Emalthya and she took it. Pheonix helped lift her over the grass as she took a step.

They had it cornered. Desdemona spun circles around their quarry, cackling like a victorious evil queen in a fairy tale. Juno bared her teeth in a predatory smile as she withdrew a Pokéball. {2 + 1 + 4 + 5 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 5 + 6 = 50}

Up ahead, he saw loose and broken branches in his path. Quickly, he ran diagonally and avoided tripping over objects before running off in a straight line again.
Not too far away, he noticed a trainer with a massive Charizard shouting how much of a bother it was to chase after the pokemon. "You don't say!" he shouted back at her as he ran.

Jaime, still on her back, saw other trainers and Pokemon running towards them and finally decided to get up, out of the comfort of the grass. It was about time she refocused on figuring out what the mystery Pokemon was, rather than lazing about enjoying the lack of drama for the time being.

Emalthya found that her speed was lagging as she continually slogged through the tall grass. She was holding Pheonix up and her arm had begun to hurt where he helped her. "Maybe we should just pull out, Pheonix," she said sadly. "We can just wait here for everyone to stop running and then fly to where they stop."
Pheonix had no intention of allowing Emalthya to miss out on anything. It had been a long, hard, sad, and bitter road to get here and they both deserved a little fun and frivolity. He pushed her close to his back where the harness was still strung.
EMalthya snapped her umbrella shut, attached it to its holder in the harness and climbed on. Before she could get out her riding gear, Pheonix took off through the grass at a heavy trot.
"Pheonix, I'm not ready yet!"
Pheonix grinned and blew off a blast of flame. He was going to run for both of them.

For a pokemon to be running around this long, he knew it wasn't something cute looking. Perhaps it didn't know how to fly either or else it'd be popping out of the grass every once in a while.
"Keep it up Piko! I am right behind you!" he shouted out to his Togekiss. Niko wasn't far behind but his pokemon was a lot faster than him. His eyes never left the blurry silhouette in between the grass.
