Dark_Hunter-Angelic_Tears Since you're probably curious as to the aura stuff, I'll just leave this for how I got this, which is what I based my character auras on. Obviously, no character is thoroughly represented by a single colour--a pure colour can be seen as "those traits in absence of the others". Likewise, a colour is simply an inclination which itself can be taken a great many ways. These are also pretty generalized, but I think they fit the vast majority of characters on the list so I'm fairly content with it. I'm mostly throwing it out there because I know you're a huge nerd who loves the process so I thought you'd be interested in it/interested in gaining an understanding.

I mostly found it interesting because this seemed to generally quite strongly align with pretty much everyone. There were a few exceptions (Riley, for example, seems to spurn the pattern entirely) but generally either the traits described with the aura or the character itself worked fairly well into the pattern, so I'm quite pleased with it. Though in large part, I was putting it out there because we're both huge nerds and I figured that since I actually constructed a system you (and others) would enjoy seeing it in order to better understand how I applied my own auras. Edit: Especially the "my own auras" part as a few of the descriptions only really work if you understand where I'm coming from. Ty's, for example, mentions "wisps of green" (or something to that effect) which only works if you understand what ideas I applied to green! And yes, the yellow is perfect. I think we can all agree on that.

I'm half way through the recruiting post and the profile for the recruit but would it be alright if I gave you the auras now? I have those figured out at least. And when I do I'm just supposed to PM them to you right?

It was actually a pretty quick and painless procedure, though the numbing eyedrops hurt a bit going on/wearing off later on. (The results were good, my eyes are healthy.) But yeah, I'm glad to hear you're doing alright now. Take your time, consider the mission extended as long as you need, etc. If you wanna aim for a mark in specific, aim for a week's extension but I'm not gonna put stuff on your plate right now. I'm just glad to hear you're doing well.

I've just been getting some pressure in my eyes and we weren't sure if it was psychosomatic (I'm super bad about "thinking" myself into pain) or if it was a real issue. My grandfather has glaucoma and his son (my dad) has ocular pressure issues. The chief concern was that while my problems were most likely in my head (or at least benign), there was the chance that it might have just been extremely early onset. Getting my ocular pressure tested was what we needed to rule it out and it also gives us a future reference range; it came up at 16 with 10-24 being normal, so if I get it checked again in the future (decades) and it comes up at 22 or something then we'll know it went up. It's mostly a preventative measure, since it'll help me not feel pain (since I know it's either in my head or benign) and it'll give a reference range for future exams. My vision is actually quite exceptional, which is strange since all my lineage (everybody on mom's side, everybody on dad's side) ended up in glasses fairly early on.
