First thing she experienced this new day was a welcoming cuddle from her new pokemon Goomy and her...slime. She fell out of her bed from the sensation. The experience left her sluggish and not too ready for class this morning, so she left early to get some fresh air and maybe an early breakfast. Cyndaquil was on her shoulder as usual but since break he hasn't really shown the skiddish energy he's had. Maybe a big 'ol cup of berries would do him some good.
She made it to the cafeteria and grabbed herself an omelette with the cup of berries. Sitting down she allowed Cyndaquil a moment to hop from her shoulder and to the table. She poured some of the berries out onto the side plate and she scooted it towards him, "Here buddy your favorite," Koru then watched intently waiting for him to gleefully eat them, but he didn't. He only sniffed them leisurely and began taking calm bites. Koru slumped and rested her chin on the table not satisfied, "Cyndaquil are you sick? Do you not like them? Uhh I really wish you could talk like me..." Though a pokemon talking like a person would be crazy.
She rolled her head to it's side, ignoring the omelette on her own plate, and saw Iris getting her own food. Watching her yesterday put a knot in her stomach and she still wasn't sure why. It felt bad, and not even talking to her as much as she does Kirsi or Makoto or Ray she still thought the girl was nice, so why did she feel such...knotty feelings when she watched her and Ray yesterday? Ʌre we there yet?   . ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
This morning was hetic to say the least. And by the least, it meant that Iris gained a better appreciation for her parents as she tried to get four pokemon ready for the day. Honestly, Bebe was the easiest. Heck, Zoey was a breeze today. If her damp hair and gnawed on coat sleeve was a hint, Her problem laid in Sameko and Ling. Apparently, he's a baby wasn't an excuse for the Ducklett as Sameko greeted her with a soft gnaw on her bill. Iris, groggy was greeted then to a blast of water as Bebe moved Sameko out of the way when Ling expressed her dismay. Then Sameko started crying.... Yes... it was hetic to say the least.
Right now, she just wanted to get through class without an incident from any of her pokemon as she grabbed her food. Iris looked around for a place to sit when she spotted Koru. The girl was looking back at her, allowing Iris to take that as an invitation to take a seat with the girl. Iris complied with a smile on her face as she waved to Koru.
"Good morning." Iris said with a little smile. "Yesterday was sure something. One day, getting new pokemon; the next day class like it's a regular day. Am I right?"

She beat her chest and coughed as the green haired cutie spoke, "Cu hu hu-! OH UM YEP ahem...I mean yep...real crazy day..." She couldn't tell if Iris knew she was staring at her before, and even if she didn't know Koru had already made the air feel awkward between them. She took a drink of her orange juice thinking about what to say. She turned to finally face Iris and gulped, "He-hey Iris...speaking of yesterday...when you picking out your dragon...did you um..." she really couldn't put it into words. She was still trying to figure out why she was feel this way in the first place. Iris didn't do anything wrong did she?
From her pocket she felt her pokegear vibrate, pausing her failed attempt to communicate. She pulled it out and the screen showed a class alert, then she saw the time on the upper part of the screen and she shot up from her seat, hitting the underside of the table with her knee and rocking it, causing Cyndaquil to squeal and try to save his berries. Koru winced and held her knee while grabbing her bag. She gave Iris a nervous smile and grabbed Cyndaquil, cup of berries in hand, "O-oh! It's time for class we don;t wanna be late right? I'll jsut talk to you later I...." she felt like such an idiot, "I'm sorry Iris..." After skidding past the girl with Cyndaquil in hand she rushed out of the cafeteria, afraid now what was gonna happen in class...

Iris was eating her while Koru seemingly tried to eat her food in large gulps. She wasn't even sure if the girl was even chewing her food. Iris thought about it for a moment but figured that maybe it was because it was getting close to class time. It was understandable thing if the girl was rushing. That made Iris smile a little as with the logic that despite her hurrying, she still had time to spend with Iris. Iris looked up from her food when Koru got her attention.
"Yea..." Iris said as she seemed to want to ask her a question. Iris tilted her head as Koru was alluding to something that happened yesterday. "Did I?" Iris waited for the rest of the question before both their gears vibrated. It was the alert for class. Both girls jumped to get ready. Iris was putting her bag on when Koru stumbled before giving her a smile and saying they would talk later. Iris nodded in agreement as she ran for her class.
