If you’re able to utilize those moves in a way that Venusaur used it then you have a better shot in winning a battle with little scars.” As Venusaur was a Grass and Poison type creature it meant that almost all of its moves would be ones that didn’t require physical contact. Zubat, being a Poison-type Pokemon, would also have moves that didn’t require much physical contact with its foe. It could learn a few things from Misa’s Pokemon.

With the Abra being tucked away in its ball it looked like Misa now had a new addition to the team. It was a tricky fellow that was very elusive. Perhaps if Zubat had learned Mean Look or if any of her Pokemon had an Arena Trap ability then there would be no chance that this Abra could do what it liked and disappear. At least Misa got a hold of a rather hard-to-catch Pokemon. That in itself was a reward that she highly loved, thus making her catch far more rewarding than the last. Oh! That didn’t mean Misa didn’t appreciate her last catch! She was just so proud of herself, along with Venusaur, that they were able to catch a Pokemon that was known to give people trouble.

As the girl checked to see what was there for her it looked to be that the Abra was holding an item. A Black Belt to be exact and it wasn’t an item that would help the Psychic-type. So the girl did what she thought was best and removed the item from the Pokemon and placed it in her bag. With Abra heading straight to the PC, it was forced to part with its Black Belt. The girl would have to make a mental note about getting the Abra a different item once she needed it for an upcoming battle. Though, using an Abra in the upcoming battle with Lt. Surge and Erika was not on her mind. Instead, it might be better to have used it on Gym Leaders that didn’t do very well with Psychic types like Fighting and Poison Pokemon. “Meowth?” The girl glanced down to see a cat-like creature with a golden coin slapped on its forehead. It was definitely a Meowth, there was no mistaking that gold coin on its forehead for anything else. Plus, these creatures were known for being city creatures so it wasn’t too surprising to see one here. They were the types to want to live an easy life so to see one outside the city was quite rare. The big guy just kept still as Misa inspected its body. ”Zubat, are you able to use your sonar to detect if there are more wounds on Venusaur’s body?” The bat creature flapped itself around the Pokemon, not using any specific attack to detect any wounds but just using its innate sonar ability. “Zubat!” The bat creature directed Misa towards a wound she missed.
