Kalena smiles as Angra rubs her head, her dreams calming.

Eric looked away. Eric started to focus on every battle.
"its easier than it seems. The one time we got her to leave without a fight, she immediately started to look for you, then she's sucked back into this. Sometimes I wish we could just leave her in her dreams to keep her safe. Danger always finds her, or she's drawn into it."

Eric watches Angra now. He walks off and returns with a cup of coffee.
"You like coffee?" he offered the cup to Angra.

Kalena rolled as soon as Angra stopped rubbing her head and grabbed his arm.

"She really loves you. I wish I was able to protect my sister, but she was ripped out of existence. I doubt she'd even remember." Eric looked away placing the coffee down on a table. He turned away, conflicted with the past.


The sound of chains were heard coming out from the hallway.

"what the?!" Eric looked at the door.

Eric looked at Angra with a blank face. He walked to the door.
"I swear if its Jaster, I'm gonna put him in null space." he mumbled

Kalena curled up releasing Angra's arm. She was too deep in sleep to wake up.

The sound of chains reverberated in the room. A loud noise fell against the door.

"I'll go out and check."
Eric exited the room.

Kalena starts to wake up.
"Hey bro, did I wake you up?" she asked softly

The sound of chains echoed in the room.

Kalena's hair stood up for a moment before she calmed down.
"Why are the chains back. How did it get here...always following us..." Kalena muttered. Kalena looked angered before remembering Angra was there.

"Amaratha and I...we freak out at the sound of chains. There are....hunters....but I dont know how one got into the academy. That's impossible!"

"Exactly." Kalena said. She watched Angra pick up the coffee and then put it down in disgust.

"Yeah, Eric's been trying to get me to drink coffee too. I gave him tea and he used that to make trees. I swear he has too much of his father in him." she rubbed her face

Eric walked in. There was a different aura around him than normal.
"I took care of it, although I made a mess." he said stopping near a bookcase. He had his eyes closed.
"blood everywhere."

Eric slowly opened his eyes, it was black and gold

Kalena was unnerved. This was the side of Eric she rarely saw, the darkness. She knew what Eric went through, but only through what she was told.
"Eric, what did you do?"

"I'm preventing the demons from my past from living, but you knew that already." Eric said as he closed his eyes again turning away from Angra and Kalena
"but I couldn't stop her, so I killed her."

Kalena was in shock. She started to charge up a weak light blast in her offhand away from Angra.

"Hm?" Kalena looked at Angra and unpowered the attack.

Eric stared at Angra for a while while he told him of his punishment for leaving a mess in the hallway. The yellow in his eyes sparkled.
"Your not my parents. You can't tell me what to do. You let everyone run their own lives like wild and now they are all GONE!"

Kalena slapped her face rather hard. Eric did know his family in a alternate timeline, Eric sounded like her son and two daughters. Kalena turned around and clutched herself tight.

Eric grinned watching Kalena turn around. He knew he hit a soft spot. He looked at Angra deciding he might need to explain.
"Her kids, everyone, they came back in time to literally drag her away to fight in a war. War was won but everyone came back to this timeline, and she wasn't much of a mother, more like a dumb..." he looked back at Kalena
"stupid schoolgirl! She wasn't strong enough to save my parents!"

Kalena snapped. She zoomed and threw Eric down on the ground hard.
"I did what I could! You have no idea how much I tried to save everyone. Ive lost so many close to me. I don't need no snot nosed brat who can't see past his own anger to stop the future, my grandson or not!" she said in a commanding, booming voice. She was torn up inside though.

Rarely no one saw Kalena like this. There was no magic behind Kalena at this moment, she was pushing back the wanting to push a light, or dark pulse into Eric to shock him back into calmness. She was shaking, she wanted to cry but she was trying to be strong, yet tears started to fall down her face.

Kalena started to sniff the air.
"chocolate?"

Sasha walked into the library holding a mug of hot chocolate and a large book. She placed the book and mug down on a table and walked deeper into the library where she stumbled upon Angra and Kalena. She gave a cheerful smile
"oh! Im sorry. I didnt realize you both would be hiding here. Then again with the events going on. Would make sense."

She then looked down at Kalena
"I forgot how cute you were as a kid when I guarded you." she purred giggling.

Kalena was getting flustered yet embarrased. Her face went red trying to hide the embarasement but not doing a good job of it.
"Please Sasha, im a grown up."

Sasha just laughed.
"Oh! I brought in some hot chocolate if either of you want any. I came to look for another book to analyze the book I'm working on. Alchemy is hard" she smiled chuckling but nervous.

"And the angel....Jibril. So thirsty for information." she laughs.

"A angel. Hm....well...its supposed to be a being of pure light that guards people or something like that. Or to be good luck or something. Man, im having a horrible time trying to explain angel." Sasha rubbed her head then looked at Kalena

"Well. Imagine Kalena in total white with huge white bird wings on the back and a halo. Thats a sterotypical angel"

Kalena had gotten up and grabbed herself a cup of hot chocolate after Angra did

Sasha shrugged her shoulders
"I have no clue. She appeared earlier last year. She even seemed interested in my china set because of 'china' being stamped on the bottom of the cup. Really hard to explain that one" Sasha laughed

"I don't really know how to explain things to her, at least she isn't asking about the first headmaster. Man....that was a total mess" she rubbed her head.

"Headmaster died and so did many of the students....."


Kalena looked at Angra as she drank her hot chocolate savoring the taste
"Sasha and her sister Misty, some how they got some sort of enchantment on them to make them live for a very long time. I think they are older than us. They were students under the first headmaster of the academy."

"Yeah......he was....I don't really know how to describe him even after all the years." Sasha looked away in thought.
