Riyo blinked as Hel started shouting, nervously looking between them. She... Didn't really know what it was. Besides a dress, of course. "What is-" The ghoul began to pipe up until Titus and his burn answered her question.
"Oh, a wedding dress." She cringed, realizing she'd just given her ignorance away. Oh well. How the ******** was she supposed to know? The only married people she knew had been married and divorced long before she could recall details like that. "I guess that's a pretty good costume." The feline didn't realize it was anything more than that, she just figured her reaper friend was well-prepared for costume parties. "It looks good on you." Not that she needed to know.

Deszeld had not anticipated that dancing with Aisha would be so fun, and because she was actually enjoying herself, the green nodded and allowed herself to be danced off the floor. She did not relinquish her grip on the other ghoul's hand. "Yes, a souvenir would be nice," the green leaned in close to whisper in the zombie's ear. "You may continue holding my hand, as well."

Thank her? "Yeah, uh, just..." She lightly slapped her cheek a few times, feeling ridiculous--but mostly ridiculously pleased. "Okay."
Piper slipped her arm about his offered one, leaned in, and kissed his cheek on impulse. "C'mon, we got a lotta dancin' to--"
And then she heard Hel. Raising hell.
The ghoul froze, then whipped her head to look at her mentor, accidentally tossing her locks into Brenley's face as she stared. "Whuh," she sputtered, blinking several times before adding a very defiant, "N-No. Ghoul, is that a wedding dress? What the hell?"

Helmut stared owlishly at Hel, and even jumped a little bit as a bouquet was pointed threateningly at them. It was her turn for her face to go red, a colour that got darker the longer Hel prattled on about courting and where it lead. But the song...oh jack, the song...
Helmut looked up at Xavier, mildly horrified, and immediately let go of his hand as if burned. She stayed that way for a moment, staying close but no longer touching him however she could manage.
"W-w-we're not-" She stammered out, looking uncomfortable and mildly grossed out. A low whine of distress started to leave her, and the longer she went without saying anything, the unhappier her whine became. Slowly, she began to fidget, first picking at one of her scarves, and then full on pulling of her poncho until, suddenly, she pointed at Hel.
"S'AT WHY YER WEARIN A WEDDING DRESS?!" She screamed, though the second she was finished she looked absolutely, horrifically terrified. Something that was obviously fixed by grabbing Xavier's hand and running as fast as she could past Hel - and the two new people around her - with the poor demon in tow.medigel Helmut's making a break for it

Jory was flushed as he reached for the a vial, for the various liquids he could mix together to make a drink. They all smelled differently, some good, some not so much. He took his time giving them all a curious sniff before settling on any of them. He started with a pretty looking liquid that looked like melted candy. It was thick, but smelled amazing. Sweet and sugary, perhaps even a little too much so. Too much of a good thing, it needed to be mixed with something else, least it cause a stomach ache. A few innocuous ingredients were added. Something dark red first, then another sweet smelling liquid that was a pale orange. It smelled like pumpkin. The last was a thicker substance that gave off a truly calming aroma, and he drew in a deep breath of it, leaning into Zaire's side. "Cheers" It was accompanied by a clearing of throat. He was waiting for Zaire to comment on what he'd felt, but when no questions came he gave a little sigh of relief and brought the vial to his lips, drinking it down. It was actually pretty good, and it had succeeded in washing away the taste of metal on his tongue, but all at once he was hit with a wave of tiredness that was uncharacteristic for the boil. He blinked, smaller frame leaning into the mahamba after dropping the vial on the table. Jory was always cuddly, but drowsiness always made it worst. Thin arms slipped up around the taller boil's shoulders, and he rubbed his cheek against the strong line of that tanned jaw.

When West woke moments later, Amarus was entirely pleased the awkward situation was over. Pleased also to withdraw a little physically, and pretend she had never been kneeling there, concerned for his wellbeing. His smile had made her laugh. "Thank you, I will take that as a compliment that you feel anything at all," she joked.
Not like hatred was difficult to feel, she supposed. That seemed like the "I feel neutral" thing for him to say.
"I personally put it nowhere, but I can show you where it resides," she said, gesturing in the direction of food.

Kiss on cheek. Hair in face. Hel. COURTING
Brenley stood very still, secretly hoping that he would just dissipate in a silent cloud of embarrassment. He couldn't speak, though whether that was because he didn't wish to or because he physically lacked the capability wasn't clear. Piper's denial of the very thing that was mortifying him hurt somehow too, but all it served to do right now was push his eyebrows up a little in the middle, which was one of their default positions anyway. It was probably for the best that he stopped all that smiling. He could hurt himself.
Had Hel forgotten them? When had his eyes closed? He opened them again and tried to move toward the door. Instead, he gently squeezed Piper's arm between his body and his elbow.
"We..."
There. He'd managed something. Something meaningless, but something. And, oh, look. It seemed that tiny running ghoul was drowning him out. Good, good.

"Freya is just louder," Junko assured Kettil with a laugh. "I can't even explain how happy I am." She looked up at Seiji again, playfully nudging him with her hip before she gave Peder a little bounce to readjust her hold on him so he sat more comfortably. Holding scarelings was so easy! Why did creeple get nervous about this kind of thing? "Someday you'll be a real ghouls boil, I'm sure," she whispered to him. Such a handsome little boil, she wouldn't be surprised! Yup, there went Freya proving Junko's point. The ghoul was bristling with excitement in every fiber of her being but even at her most elated she wasn't sure she would ever be capable of Freya's volume! "Yes! You're the first! An exclusive?" Junko laughed. Freya sounded like a magazine! "I guess? Ohh yes I'm going to show it off to everyone!" She finally could. Junko rocked with Peder a little bit and let him see the ring, though she didn't let him get it in his mouth. Nope. Nopenopenope. "What do you think, Peder? Isn't it sparkly?" She giggled. Talking to little scarelings was like talking to minipets! She wanted scarelings but Freya's question still had her blushing. "W-well we can't until after Seiji graduates..but yeah! Soon!" Very soon? Could they just go right now? A literal voice in the back of Junko's head reminded her that no, they could not, and she needed to stop being dumb. She looked down at Peder. "Would you like friends~? Little itty bitty friends just like you~?"

Damien had to deal with his world spinning out of control. He could magic bacon. bacon. MAGIC BACON Damien quipped up eagerly. "I like breaking things, part of being a monster." bouncing on the heels of his loafers. Damien gave the boil a stare and a nod when the tabby rejoined after he got his drank on. "Yes Deac is princess material. Princess Deac." he all but cooed, flopping dramatically on the boils shoulders and poking at the orange tufts of fur he called ears. he would have taken the chance to eat the biscuit right from the boils hand, if not for him reading his mind and eating it first, a plaintive whine was too far behind the action. One was not enough for him. "Deacon you must like hitting the bottle." he stated plaintively, it was almost a matter of fact. "But I'm all for being the designated Date/bro, cuz I'm pretty sure Brand had started his party early in his room, if you know what I mean." he continued, trying to tickled the pink haired boils side. He didn't care much for the other methods to Brands craft, wrinkling his nose as they were prattled off. "Yeah let's not resort to those eh? and Deac, I'm pretty much open to anything, lead the way dates." he cried dramatically, holding out his hands in front to be dragged.

Brand was terribly excited to learn that bacon wins friends. In response to Demi's look, he had only this to say for himself:

It was a little light for words.
Brand didn't mind games, so long as he got to win. "I am the party, and don't you wish you had seen it?" Brand teased Demi. All in fun, seriously. He just wanted to enjoy himself without worrying about anything other than that: fun was his mistress, and he was pretty jacking faithful.
"Seems like we're both flexible," he said, shooting Demi a sidelong glance and smiling wide, "so do lead the way, Deacon? I'm afraid everything is all," Brand gestured vaguely, still smiling, "flowers for me."
Literally flowers. Flowers everywhere.

Her gaze wandered to the few meandering about aimlessly, arms shifting to let her hands rest comfortably on her hips. Pursing her lips slightly to express her mulling, the reaper exhaled a light sigh, "Yeah I suppose. But the real good ones know how fun they are." she mused. She wasn't about those awkward, unconfident boils. She liked them marching to the beat of their own drum! taking life by the horns!
"Have you found anyone to keep you some company then?" her questioned was aimed at Mia, who seemed to be suddenly distracted by another student who was doing... jack knows what.

"Hm," West said, squinting at Amarus's hand, then off at the refreshment table. "You. Are welcome."He strode forward confidently, if slightly wobbily, not looking back to see if she was following. Before he reached his destination, however, he noticed another familiar ghoul, more familiar than the ghostly vice president, but not by much if he was being honest. Maybe he should have gotten to know more people while he was in school. Nah. "Yer a vice president too. An' old. I dun mean anythin' bad by that or anythin'." West waved, even though he was standing right in front of her. "Hi, Amrita." He picked up a shiny red candy, sticking it into his mouth and watching her as if she was a particularly intriguing reality skellyvision program and he was waiting for the catfight.

Aisha actually smiled a bit. Deszeld had fallen into the dancing well and so far (besides the possessively bothersome comments) she was having an alright time. She clutched Des' hand and made for the photo area. Only now, for the first time all night, did her eyes drag the crowd for Holly.

Amrita looked up as she heard a vaguely familiar voice...and then looked up, because shoes or not, she was still much shorter than the Demon.
"Was." She corrected with as charming of a smile as someone with half a mouth could accomplish. "I've been dethroned by a very nice ghoul." She liked Amarus, at least as much as she knew the other ghoul; which, admittedly, wasn't that well. At least she seemed pleasant. "And -" She lashed out, and punched him half-heartedly in the arm. "That's for calling me old."
"Hi, West. How're things?"

Deszeld did not fight Aisha when the ghoul directed her towards the photo booth - and, like Aisha, the green also let her gaze drift across the crowd as she sought Hollandaise out - though Des did not know the zombie ghoul was looking for the warder, and Des would never admit to doing it, herself. But she was curious, and jealous, and bothered by the fact that Hollandaise had been won by someone who was not her.
