Aya felt herself shudder as her clothes brushed ruggedly up against the dry grasses of the fields. It caused so much noise. What a dumb idea to try and stay lying down and trying to move. Aya hopped up to her feet and took cover once again. Was she being to precautions in hiding after every movement? She didn't think so...

[Uhmm... who wins in a tie in this case? I think it would be the one in the offense wouldn't it? In this case offense would be.. spotter... so.. do I win the roll?]

Aya had done it. Kohki wouldn't be able to spot her as she slowly moved over the lines. As he missed her by a mile, the little girl popped up on the other side. "Kohki!" she cheered, standing up by the woody border. "I beat you," she said smiling happily.

"Hey! I know what we can do next! Let's go to the river in the bamboo forest. I bet someone else is there too. A lot kids go there to practice. We can have a little race across the river or see who can climb trees the highest! C'mon Kohki, whaddya say?" Aya asked him. She was really enjoying hanging out with the boy. She didn't want him to head home because he lost the game. Aya tried thinking of something she wasn't too good at and climbing trees popped in her head.

"Okai.." he said in a low tone.
He hated physical activities, but he had to do something. This would help him train. He wondered if he would see any of his old classmates there. He lead the way out the plains towards the bamboo forest.

Aya took a deep breath in from her little take-out box she had gotten at a ramen shop. "Mm! That smells so good!" the girl said as she shrugged her shoulders up to her ears and smiled. "Its a good day for a picnic, huh?" Aya asked Shinichi as she found a nice spot to sit down in the grass. There was a small trunk of a tree that had been chopped down. It made the perfect little table. Opening up her ramen, even more steam poured out. "Wow! I didn't know resturaunt food was this good!" the little girl exclaimed as she broke apart her chopsticks. "Look!" Aya said, picking up a piece of noodle or tofu, she wasn't sure what it was, and held it up. "It has little pink swirls in it!" Aya exclaimed. She then took a bite out of it. "Mm! Is this tofu?" she asked curiously as she finished up chewing and took another bite.

Shinichi placed his food on the trunk and opened up the ramen, moving his head back as wisps of steam rushed out. There was a slight breeze in the air, causing the tree above them to quietly rustle. It was a perfect day, made even more beautiful by the fact that he was eating lunch with Aya. Shinichi rubbed his chopsticks together to get rid of the splinters and quietly began to eat his food. He picked up one of the swirly things the girl was talking about and sampled it. "It tastes like shrimp... he croaked, suddenly losing his voice. Shinichi blushed and stared down as his ramen, trying to still the great drum that was resonating inside his chest. As if on cue, his shinai brushed lightly against his head, as if scolding the boy and his shyness.

"Yea, it does," Aya giggled as Shinichi made a little squeek in his voice. "Hey, did you want to get another sparring match in before we have to get back to class?" Aya asked him. Out of everyone Aya had practiced with, Shinichi had been her favorite person to practice taijutsu with. He was really hard to hit and tougher than most of the other students. Aya took a big bite of noddles, being careful as can be as to not to slurp and splatter the trunk with the broth of the ramen.

She didn't even notice, Shinichi thought as he felt the blood rush to his face. Or maybe Aya did and she was just mocking him in some manner. He took another bite of ramen, picking up a pea and inserting it into his mouth. "Um.. we can practise... the... uh... palm thing..." Shinichi bit his tongue to prevent any more messes, straining his brain to remember those two new taijutsu techniques he learned. He still could recall nothing and remained silent, not trusting his words to do the job. A taijutsu match was exactly what he needed and it was even better spent with Aya. Out of his other opponents, she was the strongest and seemed to spend every second as cheerful as ever.

Aya was surprised that he suggested that, but all the more happy. "Did you learn the Dodging Palm?" Aya asked excited that there was another person who could do the technique that wasn't 5 times stronger than her like her mother and Drakyn. The little girl hurried up and finished her food, tipping the bowl back to sip the broth. "Let's do it, then!" she said, more anxoius than before. It probaby wasn't the best idea to spar with intense techniques like those after eating, but Aya didn't mind a little stomach pain for a good match with Shinichi.

He nodded and slid the lid back over his ramen, even though there were still some noodles left. His stomach rejected any more food and Shinichi felt what one might call "the butterflies." He strapped off his shinai and walked towards a clearing. There was nothing like a good taijutsu match to clear the mind... and get revenge. With his stomach still in turmoil, as well as just about everything else, Shinichi raised his hands in a defensive position. He had bettered his agility since their last fight, but his taijutsu was still no doubt weaker than hers.

[Were you guys talking about naruto when you say the swirly things? xD Not Naruto the anime but naruto the fishcake... I like fishcake ._.]
Kohki came into the Great Plains to finish up his previous excersises of flips and the like. He chose this place because the first time he came here with the Kage, had been great, and it felt really great as well. In the distance, he saw Aya, and Shinichi eating together.
I shouldn't bother them.. he thought.
He got almost out of sight from them, and started. He, first, tried a handspring. It didn't go too well.
