Space 17 -> EXIT!
With Chio's voice still ringing in his ears, Rojo escaped from the maze at a run, skidding to a stop once he realized he was free. He stared back into the darkened corridor, a slow, open-mouthed smile growing on his bony face.
No more Chio. No more parents shouting things they would never say.
With an excited whoop, Rojo removed his arm once more, tapping it experimentally against his sternum. There were so many people here: students, older demons and reapers with stern expressions and white coats. Surely some of them would appreciate a little music.

Chel continued wandering, ignoring Jack, Finn and Evan. They were saying some pretty ******** hurtful things, but the more she reassured herself it was just a voice, the better she felt. At least that much was still true.
Then another voice added itself to the mix, Chris' voice. Great. More fun.

Finn turned back around again because wait that couldn't be right, could it?, and stumbled back the way he had just come from moments before, blind and with only his mothers mocking voice to keep him company.
This s**t was getting real old real fast.

Now that things were getting quieter, it was easier for Maebe to think, to move forward, to get somewhere. She was doing pretty well, for the moment.

"I can't believe you became friends with hunters."
Clara guessed it was kind of inevitable given how students and hunters were in Wonderland and people's identities were hidden, but Clara still had conflicting feelings about it and the voice really wasn't helping.

Walking... walking. It was still very dark.
HAhAhaHahaHA
Wally stopped and looked up, like he would see the source of the laughter above him. It began to laugh harder, and he frowned. That sounded like... villainous laughter! Wally gave a mighty frown.
"Stop that!"
Again the laughter kicked it up a notch, sounding mocking and crazy. "No! Stop! I'll find you and stop you!"
Wally curled his fists and ran forward, looking for the source of the voice.

Keep on going. Keep on ignoring the voice of his mother, now practically shouting on him as he kept going along.
It wasn't long, after a few twists and turns, that he found himself stumbling straight into a wall. Great, a ******** dead end. Pounding a fist against the wall with a growl of agitation, he turned around.
Where to now?

Without any other problems, Maebe continued forward at a steady pace. She stepped into the next corridor, and found herself feeling a little invisible. Or perhaps it was the corridor itself that was invisible. Whatever the case might have been, she hurried out as quickly as she could.

Not again.
Otto Graves was terrified of the dark. Not being able to perceive with sight the things that could be coming for him. Bad things happened in the dark. Evil lurked. He had no defence against that which he could not see.
How was he supposed to navigate through a pitch black labyrinth?
Otto moved at a snail's pace. His back was to the wall. He side stepped, carefully, always feeling for holes, dips and drops. His ears picked up every skitter, scuttle and whisper around him, despite the deafening thumping of his panicked heart.

Maebe remembered now, why she hated mazes so much. The time and effort it had taken to get out of this one had irritated her, and put her in a bad mood. She needed to be in a good mood in order to get through this mission unscathed. She needed to fake that smile better.
When she saw the exit ahead, she ran for it, busting through quickly. A breath of air filled her lungs, and she worked hard to fake that smile.
Perfect.
