Unfortunately there isn't really anyone fitting the bill in that regard. Kraun's monstrosity of a character perhaps as the closest figure, otherwise there were other users to consider. The FFA itself was a fun inspiration back in the day, yet I can't really paint a picture so easily on that question.

Easily Arian Thomas.
He had things wrong with him (we all do) socially speaking but I am a firm believer in not allowing how you feel about someone to cloud your judgement of their ability.
Arian was innovative and probably one of the best writers imo on Gaia.
Second to Him. I would have to say Darkest Silver.
I consider this go around on Gaia to be a rebirth for me. A new character. A new outlook. A new way of dealing with various things.
With that being said. Darkest keeps me active. She not only pesters me to post but inspires me to develop my character into something I want to cultivate.
Heita is becoming increasingly fun to play for me because of her.

Colonel Iyam A Heita Heita is becoming increasingly fun to play for me because of her. Silver puts out more content than any roleplayer I know. She is always putting out rewarding RP for everyone. Sigil would not be Sigil without Darkest Silver.

Tres Ecstuffuan I banned you guys? I was a jerk back then in more ways than one. I don't know why people liked me back then. Roleplaying, especially fights, is a lot of give and take. I'll give you as much as you give me. You sell. I'll sell. You over-sell. I'm gonna over-sell. We all were jerks. Angsty lil teens backed up on testosterone because most of us hadn't found attractive nerd women yet. As for your philosophy on fighting... I agree with you. I call it "Investing in loss" trademarked btw. It's like using textual tai-chi, letting your opponent trip themselves up to your gain by letting them essentially do what they want. It's so far yielded a 70/30 result in my favor.

DarkKingJilly I've been seeing the past being brought up recently with y'all. If you had to pick a person/character from Gaia who impacted you the most who would it be? Not referring to a specific character being influenced by a specific character... A specific person that influenced the most how I go about doing things in RP would be without a doubt opaj. It was from working with him on a number of RP events that pretty much laid the groundwork for "what it is important to focus on in posts, and what is important to present to people when creating plot". As specific characters, Vahn Fah and Maximos Lucilien Dark. Two of the people who manage to make every single post worth reading regardless of how long it must be. I can't think of anyone else who can write me a 5 page reply and keep me riveted the entire time.

Though it would be nice if Legion of Grammar Mistakes would show up already, I'm sitting on pins and needles here. I don't want to progress via opponent forfeit. I honestly don't know if I could defeat you in a technical slug-fest. The stuff I have seen of you would mark you as being really good. You are obviously really smart. Though I'll fight anybody and I'll make it awesome. It wouldn't be easy, because the Main Man doesn't do jobs.
