xxLucky was right. Tristan waited before he got onto Rory's back at the were off. He thought it was a little weird and didn't necessarily enjoy it as much as Rory probably thought the brunette might have. It took a while before they finally got to the large wooden fence that was Tristan's yard. The gate had to be opened, which Tristan did as soon as he was allowed to get down. he watched as all of the wolves piled into the large yard and up to the house. Lucifer sat at the glass door and just stared at the wolves questionably, as if to ask 'what the hell are you doing in my yard?' He knew full well it belonged to Tristan, but he was the one that p*ssed all over it! Tristan closed the door and walked to the patio to look all of the wolves over; from his yard the smell of the other pack was very strong, maybe a bit too strong. "Don't make a mess, don't mess with Lucifer, don't go into closed rooms, if you need something ask; have fun," he said as he opened the door and Lucifer rushed out before Tristan could go inside. The husky kept his distance from the wolves knowing they might not take too kindly to him, so he'd try his best to smell them from a distance unless they approached him. Tristan went inside with the glass door closed behind him and closed his bedroom door, the guestrooms, the laundry room, double checked that the library was locked, and locked the office. He went back upstairs and found his phone. He sent Xavier a reply before he slipped his phone into his pocket.

xxXavier came back with bundles of newspaper that made up a few big stacks. "Back," he announced as he walked into the house and up the stairs. It was ridiculous the amount of paper his neighbor had, but it was nice when you wanted to back up fragile objects. He walked down the hallway, but stopped when he spotted Toby sitting in the fetal position and basically quivering in fear. He set the newspaper down and looked at Toby as he walked over to him. "Toby, what's wrong?" he asked as he looked from the red-head to the door then back again. "Is something in there?" he questioned as he sat down next to the frightened male and put an arm around him to try to calm Toby down. He wasn't sure what could have scared the guy unless a robber suddenly jumped through the window, which wasn't possible with a closed window. His phone binged at him as Tristan replied, but he just ignored it as he stayed focused on Tristan.

Even though the were back at Tristan's place, Rory wasn't really glad they were back. The smell of the other pack lingered a bit more strongly than Rory thought it had. That wasn't a good thing at all though and it seemed to set everyone on edge. Especially the alpha's. They had pups around that needed to stay safe. Once inside of the wooden fences of Tristan's yard, a few stayed as wolves while the rest shifted. Rory had let Tristan down along with the kid. Rory was getting tired of the little one pulling his fur so roughly. He sighed as he shifted back too and headed into the yard. The yard was pretty big, but still didn't feel big enough to hold a handful of wolves. While majority of the pack was getting settled in, a few of them went inside to wait for Tristan to swing around. Daren, Derek and Rory were sitting in the living room. The three were pretty silent actually. Mainly because Daren and Rory seemed to fight every time they'd talk. โ€œSo tell me. Did you pay this guy to act as your human, or did you maybe brainwash him?โ€ Daren said to break the silence. Rory glared very harshly at Daren. Was he kidding right now? Without even thinking, Rory brought his fist up and roughly punched Daren which landed him to fall on top of a little table in the living room. Of coarse this broke the little table, along with whatever was on it too... โ€œShut the f*ck up!โ€ Rory growled. While Daren groaned about his face hurting, Rory got this odd look from Derek. As if to say, โ€œlook what you didโ€. Well.. Tristan didn't say not to break anything.. Now did he? Where the hell did Tristan go anyways? Well, he wasn't going to stick around for when he found his table broken. So that was a table, and a chair that Rory had managed to break in this house... Well, a lamp crashed on the floor too.. Was Rory dead now? This was his fault. โ€œUhhhh, I'll see you later..โ€ Rory said as he started to then hurry out of the living room.

Toby started to blush madly. He was going to get made fun of if he said a spider tried to kill him.. He couldn't lie though.. Toby had calmed down a bit and glared at Xavier's bedroom door. Inside that room, somewhere, was the biggest spider Toby had ever seen... Ever. Toby shook his head then looked at Xavier, the blush still reddening his cheeks brightly. โ€œUh..โ€ Toby said. He felt so embarrassed for freaking out over a spider like that but, if someone else was in his shoes they probably would have done the exact same thing! Was Toby fine though? Hell no! In that room a spider was out to get him! That was over exaggeration though.. Maybe. Toby very shyly looked away from Xavier and into his lap. โ€œI... I'm fine..โ€ Toby mumbled then went silent for a few moments again. Toby heard the phone bing but didn't pay much attention to it at all. He figured it was Tristan finally replying to Xavier. Toby sighed lightly and further turned his head away from Xavier. His blush got even darker just thinking about saying what happened. He had to though.. Right? โ€œI was in there putting stuff away the a super huge spider crawled up my arm really fast and freaked me the f*ck out because the thing was like the side of my face and now I am really embarrassed for freaking out so badly but anyone else in my place would have too! It was gigantic!โ€ Toby went on saying really fast. He had to stop to catch his breath. He was sure he was going to be laughed at now..

xxTristan heard the crashing down from halfway up the staircase and quickly went back down into the living room again. He looked at where Daren was then at the blonde who seemed to be making a run for it. "Rory," Trista half growled as he glared at the back of the blondes head. Growled, yeah, if this kept up people might start to mistake him for a werewolf because he sounded damn near like one sometimes! Lucifer accidentally cut the blonde of while playing this a couple kids outside the glass door. "When I say don't make a mess that also means don't break anything," he stated angrily; it was becoming clear that Tristan was far from Rory's human the way he acted. He sighed and waked to the entrance hall to get the dustpan and broom from the closet since glass was scattered everywhere. He grabbed a bag as well and walked back into the room. He helped Daren up and kind of just pushed him back onto the couch so he was out of the way. Tristan cleaned up the mess of shattered glass then glared at Rory again. "Put the table outside," he basically ordered before he walked off to the garage. Oh, if there was a walk of shame involved he wanted Rory to feel the shame! Tristan would be nice to everyone, but so far the three people that had managed to annoy or tick him off included Daren, Derek, and Rory.

xxXavier raised an eyebrow at Toby as he spoke quickly. He was lucky that he caught it all or else he'd have to have Toby repeat himself. "Gigantic spider?" he questioned as he looked at the door. "Okay," he said as he removed his arms from the red-head and walked into the bathroom. He came back out with some paper towel and then walked into the room with the door closed behind him to keep the spider from running out to where Toby was and startle the boy even more than he had been. He searched around and found the thing one the wall above the head of his bed. "Got'cha!" The paper towel slammed into the wall with a dull thud and squished the spider. He cleaned up the mess and his hands with some disinfectant he had in his room. He opened the bedroom door and looked at Toby with a soft smile. "It's safe now," he said as he walked passed and threw the paper towels into the garbage. He wasn't going to set the thing free since he didn't have a shoe box or anything to use to catch it and he didn't want Toby worried that the thing would make its way back into the house or into something else to go to Toby's house. He walked back into the bedroom and started to put things away again.

Man! Rory was so close to getting out home free until Lucifer got in his way. That little devil! Rory knew that name was meant to be evil! Rory lifted his hand up to open the glass door though anyways. Just as his hand was an inch away, โ€œSh*t!!โ€ Is what went off in Rory's head. Tristan was growling, his name, at him and Tristan sounded mad.. Quite mad. Why did it set Rory on edge exactly.. Tristan was only human.. However, this was one of those cases that Rory resembled a dog around his upset owner. Wait.. Owner?! Rory wasn't owned! Nonetheless though, he felt like a dog that just really pissed off his owner... Rory spun around with a smile, โ€œHeyyy, Bis-..โ€ Rory was saying something but Tristan cut him off. If Rory didn't stop this soon Tristan might literally tie him up in the dog house. If Tristan had one. Don't break anything.. Well, Rory added that to list of don'ts. It should have been added there anyways though. Don't you think? Rory hung his head like a disgrace as Tristan went for a broom and dustpan. When Tristan told him to put the table outside, he walked over to the broken table and picked up each broken half, his head hung low still. The whole time Rory helped pick up the mess, Daren sat on the couch with this smart a** smirk as if he were proud he wasn't being yelled at. That earned Daren another glare but, Rory received just as much of a glare. Rory sighed and just took the broken table out the front door in silence and shame.. By the time he got back, Daren looked as if some huge realization came to mind as Rory stepped into the room. Then when Tristan would get back, he looked from Tristan over to Rory. โ€œOhhh ho ho... I see what's going on. Tristan isn't Rory's human but, Rory is Tristan's werewolf. Dawww~ Where's your collar though? Surely you'd have one.โ€ Daren tormented. Rory face palmed harshly and grumbled under his hand. Dammit! Why! Is it not bad enough that Rory was pushed through a walk of shame?! โ€œI. Will. Kill. You.โ€ Rory muttered miserably. There was a little more to this than it seemed. When a werewolf claimed someone โ€œtheirsโ€ It meant two things. First being that they literally owned this person or two, this person was just someone they deeply loved/cared about and trusted.. In this case though, Daren was hinting at both reasons. Rory started to blush a bit and just shook his head.

When Xavier left to go do something, Toby stayed seated against the wall. He was shocked that Xavier had even caught all that from how quickly he spoke. Toby tensed when the door was opened again. Then as soon as it shut, Toby glanced around frantically to make sure the spider hadn't skittered out into the hall. It didn't thankfully so Toby relaxed a bit. He figured that Xavier had gone into his room to get rid of the spider. Even if it was gone by the time Xavier got out, Toby was going to be paranoid from this point on. Probably when they got back home even. Not too long after Toby heard a thud from outside of the room, Xavier came out and smiled at him. It was safe now? The hell it was.. Toby nodded then got up after a moment. He peeked into the room after Xavier went in to double check everything. It looked fine now at least. So Toby stepped in again and started to help pack things up. He did so very carefully too. He'd poked at things to see if anything that wasn't supposed to move, moved and kept glancing around the room. โ€œDid you see that thing though?โ€ Toby asked curiously as he picked things up. โ€œI mean... Damn. I don't know what you leave laying around for those things to eat and get so freakish but... Damn.โ€ Toby said then shook his head. He had never seen a spider that big in England. Maybe Australia but, England? Hell no.

xxTristan came back inside at looked at Daren when he spoke. He made his way over to the male as Rory threatened him in a miserable tone. Without hesitation or regard for that fact that Daren was a wolf, Tristan flicked the male on his nose like he was a house pet. "Bad; stop being a p***k," he teased as he shot the male a smug smirk. Oh, Tristan wouldn't just push back and bite back at Rory; he did this with anyone that dared to mess with him or his friends. He'd lay off if Rory said to stop and he knew better than to do something like this with the alpha, but Tristan didn't know how high Daren was ranked and he deserved a little of what he dished out.

xxXavier watched Toby as he made sure anything else he touched didn't have a spider of something behind, under, to the side, or inside of it. "You're almost as bad at Tristan," he said before he remembered the text and pulled out his phone. "He said to pick up the phone tomorrow since he won't be able to give it to you today," Xavier read before he put the phone away. The two would need some time to work out the whole werewolf ordeal and they couldn't have Toby finding out about any of this. "Yeah it was pret-- hey, I don't leave anything around for them to eat," Xavier laughed a bit at the accusation as he turned to look at Toby.

Rory's eyes widened as he watched Tristan do what he did. Oh god.. He was so dead! Was Tristan stupid, or just brave? Maybe even both.. Well, technically Daren wouldn't be able to damage Tristan too bad sense that kind of call was left in the alpha's call. Still though.. Daren had this look of โ€œI'm going to kill youโ€ written on his face. He didn't much appreciate Tristan flicking his nose and treating him like some house pet. That was obvious. A low threatening growl escaped him as he pushed to get Tristan out of his face. That was when a growl escaped Rory now. Oh hell no! No one was allowed to touch Tristan like that! โ€œHey! No pushing the human around!โ€ Rory scolded. Daren then stood up defensively and got into Rory's face. They both growled a bit at each other before Daren spoke again. โ€œOr what? You gonna kill me for real this time? I doubt it.โ€ Daren taunted. A flare of energy went through Rory's eyes as his anger boosted up again. It was obvious, but smoke seeped through Rory's balled up fists and he harshly glared at Daren. Way back when the two were scent out to hunt for the pack, Daren had pushed Rory too far. Luckily he had been pulled back by the alpha. Otherwise Daren would be dead right now. Which in all seriousness, Rory would have been totally fine with that. He would have killed Daren right then in there too if it wouldn't make him look like a monster in front of Tristan. โ€œI don't know. Touch him like that again and we'll just see.โ€ Ohhh yes, Rory was just daring Daren to try and get to Tristan again. You didn't mess with a dogs person. No, Rory wasn't about to claim Tristan as his but he would claim he cared enough about Tristan to consider him to be his companion. Much like Lucifer would have.

Toby blinked. He was almost as bad as Tristan? Really? โ€œI thought I might be worse...โ€ Toby mumbled. While Toby kept packing things, he heard Xavier say something about not being able to get the phone today. Hm. Tristan must have been really busy if Toby couldn't have just stopped by to get his phone real quick. Which was understandable. Sometimes you're just that busy. Toby nodded. โ€œOkay then..โ€ Toby sounded almost suspicious. He wasn't exactly sure why but, something just felt off about all this. How Xavier had to talk to Rory in the first place about something, Xavier signaled Toby couldn't hear about it, then Rory had to go claiming he was going to apologize then now Toby couldn't just quickly get his phone... What was going on around here that he couldn't see? Toby just shrugged it off as nothing. Too many questions could lead to things he may or may not have needed to know. Besides, maybe Toby was just over thinking. Toby smiled at Xavier playfully when the guy claimed not to feed them anything. He knew Xavier didn't.. โ€œRight.. xxThe brunette looked between the two then at the alpha who wasn't doing anything to stop it. Tristan pushed between the two and moved them apart. "How about Daren goes outside? I think that would be best," he nodded as his own idea and lightly pushed the male towards the glass door that Lucifer and the children had moved away from. Once Daren either left or backed off, Tristan looked at the blonde that he now stood by. He didn't look mad at all or even have a scolding look, he seemed a bit indifferent and slightly worried about the blonde. "When the hell did you become so over-protective?" he questioned in a hushed tone even though he knew the alpha and any other werewolf could probably hear him if they were in the same room. He looked at the alpha. "Did you have any other plans to discuss? I hope you weren't waiting for me," he said and seemed slightly unsure. He didn't really know how to go about planning really; he usually didn't until something caused him to then he was more of a leader.

xxXavier looked off to the side like he was avoiding the subject and about to lie. "Well," he said jokingly. Of course he didn't do anything like that at all, but playing along was more fun then a serious conversation, right? "Not really nuclear waste; that would have a stronger effect," he said as he put some stuff in to fill up his box. He closed it and set if off to the side; they'd have to tape them all shut later on. He'd run down an grab a couple more boxes when Toby filled the one up he had. "It's...more just random chemicals mixed together..." he said trying to act nonchalant. "It was Tristan's idea." Xavier could blame the guy since he wasn't around and they were only joking around.

Both guys more so let Tristan push between them. They were more focused on each other to care. By this point, it had just become this deadly stare down. Each daring the other to do something for an excuse to go for the other's throat. Yeah, these two wolves hated the others guts. Soon the glares were broken though while Daren just growled at Tristan and left out the back door. No use with him in here right? Rory actually calmed down a lot when Daren left. He went from calm to annoyed though when Tristan asked that question. Over protective? They were in a huge group of wolves, one of them tried to hurt Tristan.. The dots weren't too hard to connect. Besides. . He wasn't be protective at all! No reason to be over someone you didn't care for too much.. Those are lies he'd tell himself anyways. โ€œI'm not being protective at all.โ€ Rory stated grouchily as he fell into the couch to sit. His arms were crossed a bit stubbornly. Then alpha looked down at Rory with a smirk. โ€œHe's become fond of you, obviously. It's a wolf thing.โ€ He told Tristan. Rory just glared harshly into his lap and shook his head like the alpha was wrong. โ€œI am not... I don't give two sh*ts either.โ€ He muttered under his breath. He didn't ad in โ€œabout Tristanโ€ to that information, but it should have been clear that's what he meant. Anyways. โ€œWell, I wanted your help with this honestly. We have yet to see this pack and do know what to expect. We don't know this area either. Sooo, if you could help somehow, maybe even give a little bit of direction here and there it'd be great.โ€ The alpha answered Tristan.

While Toby closed the box that he had filled up, he had to stop for a moment and look over at Xavier. He was kind of shocked Xavier was playing along with this but went with anyways. So not nuclear waist because it was too strong. In which case, Toby should have been thanking Xavier not for doing that. You know, this was all reminding him of why he didn't like going to Australia. Every time they went there a huge spider would find it's way into the tour bus and pop out at the most uncalled for moment. For example, they were all doing an interview together inside the bus and a spider fell off the ceiling and onto the interviewerโ€™s face.. It was funny though. By the time Xavier got back with boxes Toby was ready to start tossing stuff into one of them. He smiled and shook his head over the random chemicals being injected into spiders. Then it supposedly being Tristan's idea. โ€œRiiiight... Okay. You two aren't allowed to be alone in my house then.โ€ Toby said with a pleased nod. He knew Xavier was just kidding though. โ€œYou know.. I wonder if I should have done that long time ago so I didn't become such a short fry.โ€ Toby said with a shrug. In reality, Toby was fine with his height. It would have been nicer to be taller though.. So he didn't get picked on so easily and didn't have to climb up things or use tippy toes just to reach things.

xxTristan looked from the alpha to the blonde whom he rolled his eyes at. He directed his attention back to the alpha as he asked for some more information. Since he lived in the area, Tristan really had to keep up on the news even when he was away from home. He knew his neighbors pretty well and he'd be devastated if something were to happen to Lucifer. He crossed his arms as the thought and wondered over to sit down in the hammock. "Well, four people have been found dead and two times that have gone missing this year with no evidence about how they were taken. The four that were found dead had been ripped apart and looked like they had been mauled by something and torn apart. A lot of the body has been missing sometimes with only bones, teeth, hair, and clothes left over. They're ruthless and not controlled, but they are careful now. That's all I know since I haven't had a direct encounter except for the one that attacked me, but I barely saw him or her," Tristan shrugged.

xxXavier shook his head a bit at Toby said about not leaving him and Tristan alone in his house. He raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "There are some more advantages to being shorter than to being taller. You're more agile and get squeeze through smaller spaces without your legs getting really sore, it can add to how cute you can act to get your way," Xavier shrugged as he handed Toby a box and moved to his closet to put some things in the box that weren't clothing items like small tubs of things and paper and such. Xavier personally liked his height, but being short did seem to have it's advantages especially with water fountains.

The alpha and Rory listened to what Tristan had to say. Yeah, this pack seemed to be one big problem.. Something just seemed so off about it. Even if the pack was abnormal in thinking. It felt like something else may have been causing this. The only thing that Rory could think of, if that even was the case, was a witch was behind this. It that was the case here, calling the situation โ€œseriousโ€ should have been considered an understatement. Rory softly bit his lip and shook his hand in front of himself. He looked a little pained. When his hands soon opened, it became clear what the problem was. That smoke steaming from his fists had been fire bottled up in his hands and it burned him up pretty bad. His hands were bright red, and a bit charcoal colored. Rory sighed and stood up irritable. โ€œDammit.. More scars to f*cking look at.โ€ Rory said without caring for others in hearing range. From there he left into the kitchen to rinse his hands under cold water. โ€œHey, guys... What are the chances of a witch being behind the pack's actions?โ€ Rory asked with a slight tone of annoyance. He wasn't sure if anyone was following him into the kitchen, he just had to get his hands under water. The alpha's expression actually went worried for once as he followed into the kitchen. A witch was bad news. Seriously bad news. Sure, vampires would have been bad news but, vampires couldn't control werewolves like witches could. A witch rarely did such things though.. โ€œI mean, we'd all be screwed if it was a witch but.. It's not impossible.โ€ Rory added.

Toby was mentally smirking when he watched Xavier. There he went, shrugging a ton again. Or maybe he wasn't shrugging a whole lot and it just felt like it. Either way, Toby went on shrugging as Xavier did just to be a brat about it and tease at Xavier. No, he still didn't say anything about it, he just acted normal. Besides the point though, Xavier had a good point. Toby was a lot more agile than most, he could squeeze through small spaces, hide in smaller areas. Plus being this short and adorable allowed him to easily kill people over certain looks and he'd get away with so much. He loved it.. It was cruel but he didn't care. He knew he was cute, he knew how to get at people and he did so too. Kind of like how he got that girl in the restaurant to think Xavier hit him, and made Xavier think he hurt him (even though it was for but a brief moment). Toby made this innocent face as he looked off into the window, โ€œYeah... I use that last one a lot.. Maybe too much even.โ€ Toby said then went pack to tossing stuff into the box. โ€œI like my height.. It's just troublesome because guys tend to like picking on the shorter, weaker ones.โ€ Toby shook his head lightly at that. It was part of why Toby got so much trouble. That trouble was also why he didn't really trust someone fully until he had known them for awhile. He didn't even trust Tristan completely until they had known each other long enough. Yeah, Toby had a little bit of trust issues.. Issues that were probably a bit worse after that moron ex of his.

xxTristan looked at Rory when he got up because of his hands. He frowned and got up. He listened to Rory as he went into the bathroom on that floor to get some bandages. He walked back out and shrugged; it was possible. "I could do some research into it since I don't know much about them; I'm sure there are ways to kill them," he said. Lie, well, an obvious one that Rory could pick up without a problem, but he wasn't sure how well the alpha would detect it. Tristan knew about witches, but a little looking into it wouldn't hurt just to be certain. He placed the bandages down then left to the bathroom again and returned with some ointment. Rory wouldn't have a say in any of this now that Tristan had what he needed to bandages the male's hands. Once the blonde pulled his hands from the water, Tristan carefully dried them, applied the ointment, then carefully wrapped them. The ointment would cool down the burn and make it so it didn't hurt too much, while the bandages were tight but not too tight so as to cause pain. If Tristan had the drive and the time, he could have been a doctor, but he had a lot of experience from being an accident and danger prone person.

xxXavier gave Toby a light glare. "Don't mock me," he said with a light smile before he turned his attention back to packing. "I noticed that." Xavier continued to listen to what Toby said and he felt bad for the guy a bit. No one should be picked on just because of how tall they are; they can't control how their body grows. He shook his head a bit then scoffed. "Well, they'll have to deal with me before they can tease you now," he stated like it was a fact. "We can just get most of this room packed up for today; I just want to bring some of this stuff over now so I have it," he said as he closed his now full box and grabbed a suitcase which he started to put his clothes in. His wardrobe wasn't very colorful and consisted mostly of grays, whites, and blacks. There were some jackets and sweaters, and even a few colorful shirts, but now very many. He preferred simple, mostly plain colors that didn't cause him to stand out very much.

Why did it seem like Tristan lied about that. Worst part was that Rory couldn't tell if Tristan lied about not knowing about witches or that there were ways to kill them.. Great. Rory just hoped Tristan knew something about them. More than he or the pack did at least. All they knew was that a witch was no one trifle with. The alpha on the other hand just nodded at Tristan. โ€œThat'd be a good idea.โ€ He replied. When Tristan left, Rory kept his hands under the water still. He didn't move from the coolness of the water while the other moved about. He assumed that Tristan went off to do something, like research. By the time Tristan got back, it was clear what the guy was wanting. He wanted to bandage Rory's hands up. No, no, no! Rory didn't do things being wrapped around his hands! He didn't even wear gloves for crying out loud! It was all too obvious that Tristan wasn't going to even let him reject being taken care of though. Tristan was too stubborn. Rory sighed defeatedly and just let Tristan dry his hands and what not. Wait a minuet though.. This actually felt quite nice. The ointment started to cool his hands while the bandages added this comfy feeling to them. For some reason it actually relaxed him a lot. He didn't let that show though and glared at Tristan for a moment before stubbornly looking away. He didn't even bother thanking Tristan either. He was sure he'd get a look about it though.. Maybe. โ€œAnyways, I think maybe we need to worry about what the pack is going to eat because obviously we can't go storming around the other pack's territory to hunt.โ€ Rory made a good point. Doing so would totally blow everything. The alpha blinked. How else were they supposed to eat though? They had a good amount of hungry mouths to feed out there. โ€œWhat do you expect happens then, pup. Does the human have enough food to feed everybody?โ€ The alpha asked. Rory just shrugged and looked to Tristan, a careless somewhat smartass like expression was on his face. โ€œI don't know. Do you human?โ€ Rory asked, the intent of calling Tristan โ€œhumanโ€ was supposed to sound a bit mean, or like Rory was talking down to Tristan. Just Rory being himself again..

Toby just looked as innocent as he possibly could when Xavier glared at him. โ€œWhat I do?โ€ Toby said sadly. He wasn't really sad though. Just being a bit of a brat. Yeah, Xavier probably noticed how Toby used his cuteness to do things and get what he wanted. Too many times had he done something around Xavier. Toby smiled again. He was just remembering how he had made Xavier blush so much the other night when he got Xavier to carry him off to his room. He hadn't expected Xavier to blush so much. It was kind cute though, Toby wouldn't lie. Toby raised his eye brows at the next thing Xavier had said. Yeah, Xavier was to be there as a bodyguard but Toby didn't think that someone simply teasing him would get them in trouble with Xavier.. Then again, it felt like they were becoming more and more like friends than a simple bodyguard and bodyguarded kind of relationship. Which was fine by Toby. Xavier was a cool guy. Toby again had another smile on his face as he closed the now full box and closed it up. Earlier that day Xavier had said something about putting some stuff into storage somewhere. Honestly though, Toby didn't think Xavier would have to do it. There was probably enough space for all od Xavier's things. Toby nodded. โ€œOkay.โ€ Toby said. He looked at a few of clothing items that Xavier packed away. They weren't all that colorful. Toby's wardrobe wasn't extreme on color either though. It was mainly the same colors as Xavier's. Only he had some dark reds, dark blues and even a few things that were dark purple. โ€œHmmm... So what's your family like?โ€ Toby asked randomly as he started to pack some more stuff. xxTristan gave Rory a slight look when he didn't get a thank you. Now, he didn't mind when the alpha called him a human, but when it came from Rory's mouth with that look on his face, oh, it was a whole other ballgame! Tristan's right eye twitched slightly and his knuckled cracked as he clenched his fists. Then, a smile an annoyed and frustrated smile came as he closed his eyes and lightly chuckled. "Ya know, when he called me a human it's fine because he doesn't know my name; if I knew is name I would be calling him by it because I find calling him alpha or leader a little odd because I am human and not included in the pack even if I hold minor respect for him. But you know my bloody name and you have no right to call me a human," he hissed at Rory as the smile left once he was done referring to the alpha and he glared heatedly at Rory. Oh, he was close to name calling at this point; although, with people he knew he tried to avoid it as much he could until they pushed him to his breaking point and Rory was getting awful close. He turned to look at the alpha and his expression changed so he looked calmer than he really was. "If you want meat I don't have any and I don't trust you and your pack enough to leave you all alone here by yourselves; I have just met you," he explained. It was understandable for Tristan not to trust a bunch of people he only just met. But the thing to note was that he didn't even include Rory.

xxXavier shrugged. "My family is pretty simple. I was the delinquent and my twin was the well behaved one. We traveled a lot and my parents tried their best to make sure we were a close family. My mother's really kind and sweet even after all the sh*t I put her, my father, and my brother through. I wasn't as bad as some, but I played a lot of pranks, got in a lot of fights, misbehaved and all that, but she's still a complete sweetheart. My father on the other hand is a bit more stern, but still a nice guy. He loves to travel and all that; he loves to build things to, so he's a real handyman. Leonardo on the other hand is pretty cold and distant for the most part; he's nice when you get to know him, but he can be very standoffish. He hates me," Xavier shrugged once again at the end of the description. He preferred, as Toby might have been able to guess, to not talk about his brother's hate towards him. Xavier loves his brother and he's fairly certain his brother has some form of care for him, but other than that it's purely him despising Xavier for all the sh*t he did years ago before military school. The guys still a trouble maker, but around people like Toby and Tristan, he won't show it as much.

Rory saw the look Tristan gave him and just shrugged like he wasn't doing anything wrong. Even though he really was. He was being rude towards Tristan again. What a big shocker though right? Not. Rory saw as Tristan's right eye twitched then heard the cracking knuckles. He should have been glad Tristan wasn't holding his hands still because that would have hut the burns a bit.. Then the annoyed frustrated smile and chuckle followed by Tristan's words. You know, it felt like Rory was figuring out how to push Tristan's buttons more easily now. Bad thing about it though was that Rory actually found it entertaining to push at Tristan. It was more fun than poking at Toby to get him to yell or something. Rory looked off to the side with a roll of his eyes as he waved Tristan off. Without a single care he pretty much ignored what Tristan said. He just allowed the hissed out words go into one ear and out the other. The alpha could even feel the tension Rory was rising out of Tristan. You know, Rory hadn't change too much sense he left the pack. The alpha shrugged. โ€œIt's understandable. The pack doesn't need meat though. Just something to hold them off for a bit.โ€ He replied. That's when Rory smirked an idea came to mind. โ€œOr.. Or.. You could eat the human's dog. It's dumb anyways and won't even notice the missing mutt.โ€ Rory suggested, he even turned to act as if he was going to go grab the dog. Also yes; Rory was referring to Tristan as "it". Would the pack have even thought of doing that though? Heck no. Lucifer was a canine and that felt like telling Tristan to go eat another human. It was disgusting! The alpha just shook his head to the idea. No eating dogs. Ever.

Toby listened to Xavier go on about his family with interest. He family sounded lots better than his own. It seemed more normal functioning with loving parents and even a... Twin?! That was cool! It didn't really surprise him that Xavier was the delinquent of the family. It wasn't anything against Xavier at all. The guy just looked like he could have fit that role. Then there was the fact of how willingly Xavier pranked a whole store with Toby. So Toby could have seen that. Then Xavier's twin hated him? Oh come on now.. That must have been an exaggeration. Why would your sibling of all people hate you? Well, that wasn't unbelievable either. Toby's parents never really cared much about him. They were never home, they never checked in on him on anything, they never even tried to help him with the awful bullying that he got in school.. While his mother never talked to him, his father did. His father was so harsh though. Always telling Toby to do this and do that. His father only seemed to use Toby to bring himself more money. So know his parents that really should have loved him to death and didn't; made the fact that Xavier's twin hated him a bit believable. Toby didn't want to push any questions about the brother. He figured that was a touchy subject. โ€œHm.. Well that's cool though! I always wanted a twin... Or any siblings really. My childhood was quite the lonely one.โ€ Toby said. He didn't seem sad by what he said though. Sure, his passed bothered him more than it seemed but, he wasn't about to go all depressed right now.

xxSomething made a small snapping sound in Tristan's mind, but not as much as if could have. "Excuse us," he said as he grabbed Rory by the ear like a young child that had been misbehaving and pulled him away down to the basement and closed the door to the stairs behind them. Once down in the basement, Tristan roughly let go of and partly shoved Rory. He looked at Rory and had the most 'I am so f*cking done with you and your sh*t' expression ever. "I'm done with you and your bull, Rory. I'm feeling less and less sorry for what I said to you earlier. I'm glad I'm not your human because I don't know who could put up with an annoying child like you; I'm glad that I'll never be your human. And for the record, the only mutt around here is you. I'm done with you. Either keep your mouth shut or the next steps will go in the order off duct tape, duct tape with glue, then a room laces with wolfsbane." Tristan was rather calm for how he was feeling and he wasn't joking either. Tristan turned and left without bothering to wait around for what Rory had to say or to listen to what he was saying. He opened and closed the door behind him and looked at the alpha. "I'm not sure what I really have; this is my first week being home since I've been on a sort of tour. People have been in and out, so you can check the fridge and I'll see what I have in the freezer in the garage." Tristan turned and took a couple steps before he stopped and looked back at the alpha. "I hope at this point that you get that I'm not Rory's human, but I was his friend." The words came out harsher than they were meant to, but that didn't seem to bother the brunette much anymore. "I understand if you'd prefer you leave knowing that." He turned and walked out into the garage.

xxXavier shrugged. "Yeah, it makes things interesting when you have a sibling," he said as he zipped up the suitcase. He left for the bathroom and returned with most of the necessary contents from it that he placed in the suitcase. He turned and offered Toby a simple smile. "All done for now; grab whatever you can handle," he said as he grabbed two boxes and headed out of the room. The suitcase had wheels, so he'd give Toby the chance to choose between that and the lighter boxes since he grabbed the heavier ones. He popped the trunk of Toby's care open and set the boxes inside. He looked around the neighborhood before he went back inside to see what Xavier grabbed.

It's fine, but you can't push him too much because now he just does not care; Tristan's the type you can only push for so long before he loses all emotion towards everything and the person for a good while.
