Luna bounded through the trees. Her pelt caused her to look a blur as she wove through the forest. Her soft, reddish eyes noticed a stream in front of her and she came to a halt. She lifted her nose and began to sniff the air with frantically, but it was no use. The elk she had been tracking had evaded her in the snow storm that had made her lose track of her senses.
Her stomach rumbled angrily at her failure and she sighed. Her tail swished in frustration. She couldn't go much longer without something in her belly.
She trotted forward determinedly. Hopefully she came across water soon. Water meant the possibility of prey and her stride quicken at the thought as her hunger lead her deeper into foreign territory.

((((((bullet - placing you on top of the mountain on the outside, only area snow might be. prey very scarce. find a way into the mountain, fallow a stream or something through an opening. green grass and prey there. meet the pack and learn what the area its like. frost and i have the base story down pat but the land is a wasteland there is not much around))))

Rail watched as the females talked between themselves as he laid near them. He fought hard to keep his expression and tail calm. The pure joy of seeing, knowing, other living creatures filled him. Noticing he was not a part of the conversation at this time he rolled and bit at the tall blades of grass. What a wonderful place to live, he thought to himself.

Scarlett had begun to pace, bored with laying around, yet content with the living conditions. The wolves seemed to leave her be after the incident and that was fine with her. She would trail the pack for awhile but knew she wouldn't be a part of the pack again. She eyed the new wolf talking to the other twin-tail and Ember. Scarlett found it weird that so many wolves had begun to gather. What was going on that no one was saying.

Bullet had once again wandered off. Her head slow and sluggish. All the events that had happened piled together weighed heavily on her. The pack was quickly falling apart and she had a frighting knot in her stomach that said her mate would not be back. Lifting her head she howled out, a searching sound for any lost to come. Her meaning was to have it meet Kuro, but it was open to all near the mountain. She had walked high onto the mountain, snow covered the ground and wet her fur. Trying to shake it off proved worthless as she remembered half her fur had faded to white. Uncaring she let her body fall onto the ground. A large puff of snow lifted and slowly fell to cover her body. She would rest here for awhile until hope left her and she would decide to move the pack. They couldn't stay hidden in the mountain for long, the prey wouldn't last.

Luna continued forward. Her ears swiveled almost without stopping as she listened out for some sort of prey. She sat for a moment and contemplated using her powers. They wouldn't make prey appear but they might help her locate them better. As she gave it more thought her stomach rumbled distractedly, breaking her concentration. She shook her head and stood up again. Maybe it was her stomach that was running everything off. She sighed and put it to the back of her mind. At least she was following the stream. Surely there was a fat, tasty, unaware rabbit out there that felt just a little thirsty.....before she could fully zone out she heard a howl that seemed to come from in front of her.
Luna immediately forgot about her hunger for the moment. Not just because the howl sounded so full of grief and sadness, but at just how careless she had been. She hadn't even thought about the fact there could be other wolves, especially she had been making sure to obey the boundaries before the storm. She sighed. That could possibly explain the scarcity of prey.She continued forward feeling guilty. She would have to ask where the boundary was. Hopefully they would be forgiving of her trespassing.

Ember nodded, "Yeah I know, I've actually only just joined this pack like two or three suns ago." She said answering Thorns question and then looks at Rail. A smile comes to her face as she watches him roll around happily in the grass, it is a beautiful place here, but they won't be able to stay here for long. Eventually they'll have eaten all the deer here, and there won't be any place to live and they'll just keep growing as a pack also.
Suddenly her ears perked up as she heard the familiar howl of Bullet, she knew the wolf was calling out to her mate, but also to any other wolves that might want to join. A saddened sigh escaped her maw as she laid down on the grass still watching Rail.

Thorn was actually surprised by Ember answer. And as she watched Ember lie down and Rail roll around she heard Bullet howl. It was a howl that was searching for loved ones. However this howl was different from any howl that Thorn herself had made. This was the howl for a lost mate. Thorn wondered weither to follow the howl but then she decided against it. Bullet probably wanted to be left alone right now. If she was gone too long then she would look but for now she would leave her to her privacy. Thorn could sence that the pack would be moving on soon. And that she would follow. She could also sense something stange. Not bad, just strange... And she was curious to find out what it was. But it came from the direction of Bullet. And she needed the space right now. So Thorn just lay down beside Ember and Rail, put her head inbetween her paws, and waited.

With a 'humf' Rail got up and looked to the girls. "Looks like we may not be moving out as soon as we thought." He looked up and watched as Frost and Marta wandered off on their own. "Well then, whats there to do here?" he asked to Ember as she was here longer than him and Thorn. [[Frost and Marta will be gone for awhile on a trip, they said they would try to post but may not be able to = i work with Frost]]

Ember looked up at Rail as he humphed, and said that they might not be moving out as soon as they thought. She looked in the direction that he looked at and saw Frost and Marta walking away. Her ears flattened a little in sadness, but she shook her head and knew that what they were doing was their own business....plus Ember didn't want to bother herself with Marta.
When Rail asked Ember what there is to do, she frowned a little. Sure she has been in the pack a little longer than the two of them, but she wasn't one who liked to take control. Looking around she finally decided, "Well if we are ever to fight altered again, we should practice our fighting moves...and powers a little."
She put a thinking face on, then again, maybe that isn't a good idea...what would they practice on...what would they do? Putting her head back down Ember put her paws over her muzzle, sort of covering her eyes. "Uhg I would be a horrible leader if I tried to be one...the only thing I'm good at is fighting." A slight growl came from her, showing how frustrated she was with herself.((Okay!! That's good to know, because I was afraid that this rp was going to die.))

Rail eyed Colt when she mentioned practice fighting. He had never really had to fight many altered due to begin one. He shied away when she talked about it but laughed kindly when she said she would be a horrible leader. "Nah, I'm sure if the role was put on you you would find a way to do it." he said with a smile. [[Yeah she said maybe a week before they are back on everyday. School and family things. But Bullet is staying around and we got the three of us. Glass said we could rp in the chat field because she cant come into this one yet. Bullet said we can start a new rp of our own while we wait around too]]

Ember looked at him a little from behind her paws and smiled a little, when he laughed at her and smiled after saying what he said to her. Taking her paws off of her she stood up and nodded, "Thanks...for believing in me." She looked away slightly, still trying to think of what they could do.((Okay, and do you want to start a new rp? Where would you want to start?))

Thorn sat up and tried to think of what they could do. "Well you mentioned practicing powers... What are everyones powers? I meant some of them are obvious and you told me yours but I'm sure some of us could prectice" She smiled slightly. [yeah good to know smile so is it just us 3 and bullet thats active at the moment?]

Frost opened her eyes, the startling blue resolved, but also sad.
She had made her decision.
Touching her nose to the familiar hilt, feeling the weight against her shoulder, she assessed, feeling her biotics flare and then die as she checked her systems.
She took what might be her last look at the wolves she had come to know as her team. Her family.
Off in the distance they talked, argued, played, tussled and she did something she never did.
A small faint smile graced her features, before the light wrapped around her leaving nothing but air to look at.
She took off silently towards the north; Marta's last recollection of her collar tracking a R.C.A was due that direction, but it could be hundred of miles in the distance, it would be trying to find a needle in a haystack, no, a warehouse of haystacks... But luck had always been on her side.
She would not tell them where she was going. She could not rsk their lives on a fool hardy mission which the chance of her death so very high or worse...
Only Marta would know of her plans; and she knew that despite their dislike of her, they would not leave her to starve... they were her best hope.
With a silent farewell, Frost left the valley to face the unknown wasteland...
(Going to be gone awhile; carry on without me.... 2 weeks probably)

Luna continued to follow the stream as it lead her through the scraggly rocks of the mountain and into a lush forest. Her pace slowed as her she admired the beauty in all that she saw. It was so beautiful! She closed her eyes and let her senses take over as she continued walking. She heard sounds of prey but her she refused to fill her stomach, not before making sure it was alright with the pack of this territory.
She came to a halt but as she opened her eyes her pupils disappeared. Instead there were nothing but blood red orbs. She slowly scanned the area, her demoness powers allowing her to look far into the distance as she searched for where the pack lay. She quickly slammed her eyes shut and opened them blinking rapidly as they returned to normal. She stood and stumbled slightly. Tapping into that power was draining and dangerous but she was to hungry to care. She balanced her self and trotted forward. The pack seemed to be just over the next hill.
