A blowdryer? She tried to look back at her wings, and wiggled them. Imagining taking a blowdryer to them sounded a little silly.. and she wondered if it would make her wings fluff the way it made hair fluff, to use. "I usually just lays outsides in the sun until they are dry, though in this case.." She'd fall asleep before she hit the grass. "Is okay. They will dry eventually, I will put towels under them and sleeps on the floor teh keeps yehr bed dry." This wasn't the first, nor the last time she'd have to deal with wet wings. She was used to it.
"And if they are not dry by the time we wakes up, I guess we could use a blowdryer.. but not now! It will wakes people up." She felt like she'd caused enough trouble. Being noisy in the wee hours of the morning was not high on her list of additions to her crime list.
She felt the squeeze of his hand, and turned wide eyes up to look at him. His smile made her feel warmer than the sun could, and she felt her lips returning it automatically. Her head moved to rest on his shoulder.
"Is morning, soon." She whispered, with a voice that didn't sound as though she was unhappy about it at all.

Kettil snorted in amusement, "I don't care if you leave wet spots on my bed cause of your wings," he replied as their feet soon found the walkways of his hometown. He just seemed so content just then, happy. It was almost like everything was in order just then. The Muut relented to his ghoulfriend's wise advice with a nod, "Alright. I'll sleep on the floor with ya, we'll make a blanket fort or somethin'," there was a playful sound to his voice.
He refused to not sleep with her directly beside him in some way now. If she had been placed in a separate room he likely would have snuck his way to her to sleep with her there.
His head tilted to kiss the top of her head, "It is," he murmured quietly against her hair. Kettil noted that her hair was still damp and smelt of the water they had splashed about in. "I love it when we see the sunrise together," Kettil said in a quiet and sincere tone.

A blanket fort sounded awesome. She squealed in delight, clearly approving of this plan. "Yeh knows me too well, Hooter." She murmured, now imagining all the different ways they could make their blanket fort the most intricate and amazing thing ever..
And then, maybe, his parents wouldn't think she was a floozie. Because only adorable people make blanket forts.
She ducked her head when he kissed it, and turned to look at the lightening sky, just before the sun rose from it. "We does it too much. We keeps stayings up so late.." Oh, who was she kidding. She loved staying up late with Kettil. They would talk, so much.. she'd never told anyone half the things she'd told Kettil. Hours and hours spent just lying there, cuddled for warmth, spilling their lives and thoughts out piece by piece.
Kettil knew Freya inside and out. She hoped she knew him just as well by now, too.
She gave him a wry smile. "I loves it, too."

Kettil let out a small laugh, "Nothing wrong with that. The things you enjoy are things I enjoy, too," he replied to the Valkyrie openly. He squeezed her hand again, likely imagining the things she was currently imagining as well. The blanket could be draped over a dresser and then maybe he could steal some more pillows from the linen closet and....
"Think it's too much?" Kettil asked sincerely thoughtful about it and then he shrugged his shoulders a bit as if to dismiss it. "It isn't a bad thing, I don't think. I mean we still go to classes and stuff...?"
Worries dissolved when she relented that she loved it as well and that same easy smile reappeared on his face, "Good~."

It was as if the world was waiting for him to speak. At least, that was how it felt to her. The sun broke through the horizon, its thin edge of blazing light already brightening the scenery around them. She turned away from him to look at it, and let out a little gasp of excitement, her hand clinging tighter as she bounced on her toes.
"Do yeh thinks I can fly fast enough to run aways from teh sun?" She breathed out, a lazy smile on her face. "Not that I'd want teh runs from it. But I wonders how fast yeh'd have teh be teh keeps up with teh sunrise."
She swayed on her feet, and a giant yawn forcefully quieted her musing.

Freya saw the sunrise but oddly enough all Kettil saw was Freya. He was staring at her the entire time, watching as her face light up and as she spoke with excitement over the possibility of out flying the sunrise. Something about it made his heart beat just a little bit faster.
A small splash of color rose over his face as he realized he was staring at her and not taking note of dawning day, but he couldn't look away from her, "I think you can do whatever you set your mind to, TĂșkut."
He squeezed her hand lightly, "But I think first we're gonna get into the house for some sleep," he grinned lightly as he barely contained his own yawn and started to lead her back toward his home.

Freya liked that answer. She turned to him to tell him so, but it was only then that she realized he'd been staring at her, and not the sunrise, and her mouth snapped shut. The hint of color in her cheeks was all but hidden by the blazing colors the sunrise shone down on her skin. She ducked her head, before shyly butting her face against his chest, and immediately turning to walk into the house.
Once they reached the door, however, she was tiptoeing very quietly. She didn't know how early his family woke up, but she was determined to be a ninja if they were already asleep.

Kettil gave a bit of a playful grunt when she butted her face against his chest, as if she had done it with some actual force behind the action, there was something charming for the boil when his ghoulfriend played shy with him.
As they entered he'd paused only a moment to note that there was no one up yet. It also seemed that no one had fallen asleep waiting up for them. Today seemed to be a lazy day for everyone as they all seemed to be tucked away in their rooms. With a small intake of breath he led Freya up the stairs and toward his bedroom.
"Woulda thought at least Granma would be up by now," Kettil mused.

Freya held her breath when she walked in, and tiptoed ridiculously up the stairs. When Kettil whispered, she turned around and flailed her hands madly, before putting them over his mouth. Then she took them off and put her finger to her lips, before walking back up the stairs again.
She found his room as if it had already been hers, and tried to open the door with as little noise as possible. Then she slid inside, and waited for him to join her.
Only then, did she release her breath, and flop on the floor in sheer exhaustion of such a Mission Impossible.

Hand on his mouth.
His reaction?
Lick the palms of her hands, at least attempt to before they left his face.
Now he was simply trying to get a rise out of her. He went from adoring and affectionate to a thorn in Freya's side within a space of just a few moments. As she entered the room he walked in after her, his hands carefully closing the door with a bit of a contented grin.
She was trapped with him now.

GODS HER BOILFRIEND WAS SO GROSS SOMETIMES but secretly she loved it.
When he locked her in the room, she didn't notice. Freya had hit the ground, and she was already half-asleep, flopped on her back with her eyes closed. Trying to catch her breath was complete, and now she was just basking in the feeling of not standing up. She wanted that door locked, anyway, to give her the comfort of knowing she could get out of her wet clothes and into some pajamas without someone walking in on them. So when she heard the door closed, she wiggled, trying to get enough strength and consciousness to actually get out of her clothes.

Kettil sort of watched her for a few moments. It didn't matter how tired he was, he remained standing and even went as far as to wander toward their luggage to get out her pajamas for her, "You're so lucky to have me around," he said teasingly as he went about getting his own out.
The boil didn't honestly mind making sure Freya's needs were taken care of before his own. It was simply how it worked out, she needed to be cared for and he was around to do so.
If she still seemed to struggle he moved to help her out of her clothes so she could change.

It is a good thing that Kettil could work with fish.
Freya was undressed and redressed he then went about getting a pillow down for her as well as all of the blankets from his bed. Clearly the blanket fort would have to wait. They were both fading fast.
With what was left of his energy he focused on getting into his own pajamas.

Freya tried not to struggle or give Kettil any trouble as he undressed her. It was difficult, because every once in a while she made noises that sounded like she was about to wake up and accost him. Her hand would flop around his waist, and then slide, slowly, right back to the ground.
Freya was tired.
Lying naked on Kettil's childhood floor seemed to make her giggle, though. She was far more comfortable when her pajamas were on, so when he finished, she curled up into fetal position and started breathing slower. Behind her, her wet wings had already gotten the back of her pajamas wet, but she laid on her side to keep it from soaking through.
"Mmmmf.." She muffled out a sound, and turned her face into the pillow he'd laid out for her.
