As she felt a heavy object fall across her tail the dragonair turned her head to see a human had tripped over it. She pulled on her tail before coiling it under her. "Dragon!" she called out. Merely telling him to watch it. She had half the mind to slap him with the tail he had tripped over. Zak quietly watched his pokemon, as the group stopped for the night, keeping a very close eye upon her. He really didn't know how well she would work with others. "I don't have a fire type pokemon, but Sakki knows Flamethrower, if that would help." Zak put in, as someone asked about fire types. Turning back to Cara and her other companion. "I got Sakki from an old friend of mine. And Zue's no longer a Golbat, he evolved not to long ago. Flora also evolved in to a Seadra. the male replied to Cara's comment. Sakki was to busy with the one who had tripped over her tail, to notice the arcanie's introduction. "The cave does look more inviting then then the open grassy field." the male replied. "if we make a fire it would warm the entire cave, better then making a fire in the field. "

Keria smiled as the meowth climbed up and onto Jackariah's shoulders. "Well looks like Kitty found us, doesn't look like its hurt or anything so I guess we should head back now. " she said to the other girls.

Nanashi Kage Enjeru ladyfirefox89 jackariah looked longingly at the cave, then followed the girl and Stein. "I hope we find Kitty soon." Shivering a little as she kicked a rock along. "Nyaaaaa!" The meowth darted out of nowhere and climbed Jackariah's leg, then continued up to drape herself around the girl's shoulders. "Kitty! Fifi exclaimed happily, scooping the Meowth off the other's shoulders. "Naughty girl, you mustn't run off like that!" Fifi scolded. Jackaiah heard the meow right before she felt the claws entering her pant legs then her sweatshirt. She let out a little scared skueek, then a giggle. Her breath could be seen from the giggle as she smiled and petted Kitty. "Hello, kitty. I am glad you are alright." She smiled again as se saw the shuppet float to them, glaring slightly as the meowth was handed to its owner. Jackariah giggled again and went to it, cuddling it as it pretended to ignore it. "Oh, you silly jealous beast." She looked to the others and started to walk to them again. "Shall we go back to the camp?"

"Yes, let's go back. I'd like to bed down, I think," Fifi said, heading back. Glancing between the shallow cave and the grassy field, she hesitated. "The cave looks more sheltered," she said, deciding on her choice for sleeping spot. Heading over to the cave, she looked around. "Hello, mind if I join you?" she asked the others in the cave.

He stopped when he heard Shaun and looked at him. "Well I was going to go look for another place to sleep. Though I guess it would be smarter to stay with the group." He thinks about this for a minute, "It is starting to get dark so maybe that isn't the best idea." He looked around for a clear spot and figured he would sleep out in the field, he had a tent so he wasn't too worried. As they were walking back towards the group, "Where are you planning to sleep Shaun? I have some wood here to make a fire so I was thinking out in the field would be best." He set down his pack and the wood before starting to set up his small tent to sleep in with his sleeping bag inside. After a little bit he had everything set up and piled up the wood he collected in the area in front of his tent. The tent was protecting the fire from the wind and it didn't take him long at all to get a decent fire going. Tyr was chilling just inside the tent looking out where it was warm and not so windy. He looked over at Salvo, He looked up in the sky not sure he could even imagine what it would be like up there before looking back at him.

" Thanks." She took the piece of jerky, and then responded. " He's pretty calm, surprisingly enough, now that he's had a chance to settle. Don't think that he's made a sound since I've taken him out of the pen though." Was that unusual? She had no idea. " I'm Jade." She grinned. " Have you found a place to camp yet?" There was plenty of room over here, but if the girl already had a place, she wouldn't invite her to camp here. It wouldn't be very polite.

Johannes Faust strode up to Syt and Galaxy. Without waiting to be noticed, he immediately started talking. "I've heard that suicune are very proficient at healing - is this true? I ask because I am a healer myself - no pokemon yet, but I'm looking into compiling a list of pokemon that are good healers so that I can help people better." He strode a hand through the suicune's mane as he spoke, completely ignoring the fact that just because suicune are rumored to be great healers didn't mean they couldn't rip his arm off.

Keria said goodbye to Fifi and Jackariah before she started to set up her sleeping bag, she would have set up her tent as well but it would have taken up to much room in the stone and she wasn't sure how well it would stand up to the winds.

Jack chewed thoughtfully. "Was gonna sleep against my doduo really." She shrugged. "I can sleep wherever, but my family's always done the camping-hiking-survival in the wild thang." Jack nodded, and pulled a couple water bottles out, offering one to Jade, and pouring some in a stray bowl for the Pokemon. "Jack, by the way. Jack Wilder."

Xander raised an eyebrow at her with a small smile. "An Officer huh? Well I can tell you being a Breeder is rather rewarding. Being a Watcher is too I suppose, though you would have to talk to my brother on that." Kotetsu continued to soak up the attention but paused to say hello to the new dragon type. "Eve ee." When he felt the hand on his shoulder, the blond looked at Rory and gave a fake hurt look. "Me? Bothering people? Of course not." He then gave a rather convincing innocent look to his brother before turning back to Cara. "Agreed, the cave would be a good idea." He nodded.

Jackariah stumbled into the cave, nuzzling the slightly peeved looking shuppet. Yawning, she noticed the arcanine. Awww, its so -yawns- cute." She smiled, then fell to her knees besides a ready made fire, trying to get warm. Stein soothed with the warmth, his lids closing partly as he relaxed in his owners arms.

Cael looked at Cloudrunner, who seemed to be trying to look relaxed, even though her ears flicked around. "Cloud too I guess - A-a lugia? " he asked. There were so many pokemon he'd never read about here! He wondered which one a loogiya was. "When we camp for the night I have to get out my dex and mark that down!" When the other trainer approached Cael smiled and averted his eyes, since he didn't want Cloud's help. "Cloud makes sparks for me with her spikes, but a fire attack would be faster." He tangled his fingers through her shoulder ruff so Dave could respond. Cloud gave Miles an apologetic look and leaned into his hand.

"But... what if it's a girl?" Arwen asked Lexis. "Though I do agree -- Doyle does seem like a terrible father."
He snickered when Doyle admitted to the lie, though he didn't yet know if he was pleased to see Doyle avoid the old man's blow or not. Brushing it off with a laugh, he excused himself for a bit to look for Parth, whose absence he had apparently just noticed. _______________________________________________________________
"Oh, hello, there!" Arwen called to a young boy, and what appeared to be a pale Lucario. He'd grouped with Doyle for the night and thought it'd be better to be useful than to laugh at Doyle for forgetting to bring matches. (It wasn't as if he'd brought any matches himself, anyway.)
Parthenius perked up at the newcomers and wagged her tail delightedly. She'd attempted to help with a Fire Fang earlier, but ended up running away with the stick and was barred from providing further assistance for the moment.
She circled the Lucario warily before trying to head toward its trainer for some petting.

((catching up a bit smile ))
The journey had been interesting so far, but Tyg and Peanut had kept mostly to themselves. The watcher had happily accepted some extra supplies to augment her own stores from the ranger station. The sound and teasing glimpse of the legendary renewed her resolve about the whole journey. Peanut hadn't even let her consider negotiating for a doduo. That had caused her a bit of a laugh. It might have been nice to have a mount even just for this journey up the mountain, but the constant presence of the luxio at its heels would likely have caused a problem.
Now night was falling and mentions of finding a place to set up camp drifted through the large group, growing louder as everyone realized the advantages. It would be safer to be with the group, or at least close to it. Tyg was a watcher and traveler and well equipped to camp out with just Peanut. When a good spot finally revealed itself, she looked around at the grassy clearing outside the rocky indentation.
As she began to unpack her gear to set up her small tent, Tyg sighed thinking of the rest of the team. The tent would keep the chill of the wind off but it'd be nice to have more warm pokemon around her and Sprain to keep watch through the night. There were a few ghost and dark types around ... "I really miss Sprain right about now," she commented to Peanut as she secured their tent.

Ryuukishin Quote: "Then they could name it Morgana, still has some of the grandfathers name," she said primly, amused as they walked to the camp site. It was getting dark. Lexis frowned slightly looking over the shelter of the cave and the softer ground before reaching up, scratching her Glameow. "What do you think Glamour? Could you use dig to make us a pit and I'll line it to make it more comfortable to sleep in?" They would keep out the wind that way, and dirt would be more comfortable then stone.
