Sammy was now doubled over holding her knees laughing as the other guy moved over to lick Nuk's neck.

Melvin sat at the bar, looking at people hanging off of each other, dragging people in who he didn't know and were probably spies, noticed the complete lack of security, and sighed. He frowned at the rabbit on his wrists.
"I have the worst luck."

Po gave a nod to the doctor and looked back to the new man Candace had brought along to the bar. Her friend...right. She actually smirked, glancing Candace's way and giving a little shake of her head in the woman's direction before she turned back to the young man. "Candace's rule is nothing comes without a price. What do you have to offer?" Po even took out the phone to prove she had the phone in question.
Candace was grinning as the girl complimented her dress. "I only buy the best. You're welcome, Miss." Ha, she liked this. The girl thought they were nice.
Perfect.
"Everyone here is like family--" She caught sight of two people kissing and..licking Nuk from earlier, actually pausing to just stare before she cleared her throat and turned back to the girl. "Very..close family, apparently. We take care of our own." And there went that woman singing. Very drunk. "And apparently some of us like to have a good time..." Chuckling, Candace made herself comfortable on a stood beside the girl. This wouldn't be hard at all, she was easy prey.
The leopard had been a very good choice, Harrison.
"So you're sure you don't remember what happened?" Candace purred, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder. "You can tell me. I just want to help. And perhaps I can put a good word in for you to Harrison."

Matt gave the girl a nod as she left heading towards Harrison, like it or not she was going have to be a part of this group one way or another. Kasi on the other hand waved but glared at the back of her head as she left, if looks could kill she would have burned a hole in the back of her head large enough to see through. He was sure his time would come as he ordered another drink, and knocked it back as soon as the bartender had set it down.
Without notice lovely blonde next to him grabbed his arm and pulled him out of his seat before he could even set the glass down, instead he left it sitting on the bar stool seat. Hopefully no one would knock it over any time soon. “Come on luv, Harrison just called our name,” Kasi replied pulling her arm around his waist as she flashed him a large grin. He placed an arm around her shoulder, why not they were certainly the most beautiful looking couple there.
Getting to the front Matt rolled up his sleeve, he was not however looking forward to the ink tattoo that he was going to receive. He had kept his body looking so beautiful up to this point the idea of ruining it with a tattoo was rather disappointing.
“Not a problem Harrison,” Matt replied after the tattoo was applied. He looked at it for a moment before rolling his sleeve down. Perfect symmetry, beauty, and elegance at least that tattoo was fitting.
Kasi was rather excited to get hers, she had always wanted one but Matt refused to allow his work go to waste with someone else’s craft on top of it. If it wasn’t for the pay she would have told him to go to hell she could do what she wanted.
“Looks like we are stuck together for a while luv,” Kasi replied clasping his arm as he lead her away.

The winged guy was going off to find a phone, the other girl was going off with the other girl. The other big guy that had approached them in interest seemed to have wandered off as well. That left her all alone with the confusing Doctor that she couldn't figure out if they were a man or a woman. Sounded a bit more like a man, and he spoke in a weird language...
"I hit my head," Olivia said very simply and childishly. She was going along with what... what's his face mentioned, but it was still all together true and she finally pulled her hand away from her temple to show the man the welt that was growing there (no blood at least). There were a few other scrapes and bruises on her persons, but for now... they didn't seem as important.

Nuk gave Sammy a disgruntled scowl, rubbing the back of his neck before withdrawing it, eyeing his palm with an equally annoyed look. His anger, however, had ebbed, replaced by the gentle simmer which had been present before. "Hey, she likes tigers, ok? I know, I got viola--"
And then there was a tongue on his neck. And his skin was crawling from the nape of his neck all the way down his spine. Once again his muscles constricted, this time in his best impersonation of a worm, wriggling a little as he practically leaped away from the offending slick appendage, shoulders near his ears and shaking himself off like a dog.
...
"Holy s**t YOU DID NOT JUST ... ....."
Touching the back of his neck, the shapeshifter rubbed it vigorously, shuddering again.
"GuUAAaaAHH..."

"Oh, darling," Taima cooed at B0nez as she offered up her hand, "it's almost as if you know me." She felt a genuine respect for the hand at the side of their king, more for him than for the king himself. It was his foundation that laid the groundwork for her operations to build upon, after all. Without his work behind the scenes, who's to say Harrison would even be in power now?
Taima winced at the sting of the laser, but allowed the procedure to continue until she, too, was just as marked as those who had come before her. One of them. It was almost laughable. She, who had always prided herself on her complete independence, was now undeniably part of the flock. The idea would take some getting used to--as would this regrettably remarkable tattoo. For one who operated so covertly to bear so memorable a mark would be undeniably dangerous.
That was fine. Life was starting to get a little stale around the edges, and they might all be dead in a week anyway.
Taima rubbed at the mark as she withdrew her hand, looking over her shoulder at the Silvers B0nez was referring to. "They seem to be well taken care of," she said, "but I'll keep my eye on them, see what happens." Such a promise held a different kind of significance coming from her. She turned away from the throne and headed to the bar, watching with interest at the rest of the proceedings and the antics of the others in the room. By the time she had finished her first drink, she had learned a number of interesting things.
The king was undeniably doing both his queen and his advisor, putting truth to the whispered rumors.
The shirtless man-tiger-who-knows-what guy was buried so far deep in the closet he probably had a summer home in Narnia.
The Silvers, judging by the state they arrived in and their almost confused manner, weren't here on purpose.
...And the incredibly drunk woman down the bar from her really, really couldn't sing.

A price? A good way to go, he would prefer to have to give payment rather than explain why he needed it. He pulled out a few coins and flashed them. “Good enough? It shouldn’t take long.”

Rep took his time. Meetings drained him, they always did, so many people in such close quarters. With all his emotions turned up to eleven it ended up being too many waves of anger and indignation, a knot of tension and emotions that built and built until he couldn't handle it any longer.
Freeing up a hand by propping B0nez with his knee, he turned the key in the elevator to go up to the penthouse floor. The thick clear walls of the elevator shaft overlooked the strip and he held B0nez to him, looking out on the rows of forever dazzling lights and screens as they went up. It was nice, just to see it all, it always brought back nostalgia of the first time he'd seen it like this, like something from a movie. B0nez stirred a little and drew his attention back. The guy was always so finicky about contact, when he was asleep was the only time he could get this near, he didn't grudge it, he'd been the same for a long time.
It took a bit to get to the top, there were a lot of floors between the casino and the penthouse, but when he stepped out it was into home. Plush expensive luxury surrounded him here too, along with shadows of memories of the months, years spent here, paired with the dim sad feeling that all of this could be about to slip through their fingers. It made him want to fight even ******** harder than he had before, to keep this place, this perfect point of happiness on a lifetime that to date had fluctuated more wildly than a wave.
Prying B0nez off of him gently, he placed him on the absurdly large bed and stole his shoes - Jordan would pitch a fit about shoes on the bed otherwise - and threw a blanket over him. He stood back with a fond little grin, he felt better having B0nez somewhere safe. "Sweet dreams dude." he said quietly and slunk back out.
When he arrived back at the meeting, it was with a much calmer, more mellow air about him.
It was anyone's guess how long that might last.

"Because you hafta get outta here," she said sternly. A rarely seen serious look crossed her face as she glared at him. "Outta his hands-" She gestured to Harrison with a flick of her head, "And outta town."
She looked down at her hand, sighing lightly. "'Suppose its pretty stupid now though. Harrison said we're all gonna be snuffed whether we like it or not." Ohhh how she wanted to tell her brother about ringing her hands around Harrison's neck. This was not the time though, and with so many guards listening? DEFINITELY not the place.
Ying put her hands together, squeezing nervously. "Look, if we don't make it outta this ... this battle thing," she said, waving her hand, "I uh ... I ..."
She hadn't seriously thought about what Harrison was saying until now. She was going to die for Jing. Die. Her life ended here, in this crummy bar, in this crummy town. Ying even started to tear up a bit, but she tried not to openly bawl, put on a tough face for her brother. "Well you gotta, okay," she grumbled.

Hm. Po eyed the coins, picking one of them up with a thoughtful hum. They'd do. "You're lucky I'm more interested in money." She held the phone out for him to take.

The big man could only laugh at her enthusiasm, clearly not minding this new, lighter side of Riyo. If G was allowed to make assumptions (which he'd sort of been doing all night, let's be honest), he got the feeling Riyo just didn't like to let anyone in past her guard. That was alright. He could even respect it, to a degree. But he felt like it had to be a real lonely life.
"Think I noticed that," G chuckled, giving a subtle, appreciative nod to the bartender. His shoulders shifted a bit with the extra weight, but he didn't mind none. Affection was always good with Gargantuan, and a little physical contact was hardly enough to make him blink.
"A trick? Yeah, sure. What sorta trick?"

...What exactly was she watching?
It seemed that many of the people there had had much more to drink than she had. At the moment, she had just barely finished nursing her first drink, turning around to request another one quickly to the bartender before turning her focus back to everything else that was going on. That poor drug dealer over there looked like he was about to become a dirty kind of midnight snack.
And was that woman singing? Serafina sunk into her stool a tad, deciding that the last thing she needed to do was get involved with that. While she had freely associated herself with The Boss, now--the marking on her wrist made that much obvious--the last thing she needed to do was do anything that might get her surrounded by nosy pundits or irritating extremist media outlets. Senator Arai, drunk and singing on stage! Senator Arai, stripping on stage! Senator Arai, joining in the kissing and licking of strange criminal men! Yes, that was just what she needed.
She would align herself to this family, this family that meant more than anything else, but she could certainly not partake in such extreme shenanigans. Perhaps there was something else she could do, instead? Eyes lifted from her cup over to where the Silver Kingdom entrants were standing. Was Candace attempting to get them to talk? It was a good question; what exactly were they doing there?
She had pondered it before, but if other people were prodding, perhaps there was more truth to her curious thoughts than she suspected.
Taking the new drink (which she, of course, exchanged for the standard price) from the bartender, she headed a bit closer to the arrivals of the Silver Kingdom, observing and attempting to mine some of her own observations from their behaviors. They seemed a bit frazzled, at best. Portal malfunction? Didn't sound good. What could cause that?.

Cee milked the sweet act, glancing as Candace did when she spoke of family and looking out for each other. She also glanced at the Silvers. Did they feel that way for their own? Unfortunately, Concetta only cared for herself and where the next step might take her. On Silver the dream was that anyone could be King. She clung to that.
Cee sipped a water that had been put down, taking a moment's pause to smooth her skirt and tuck her hair behind her gold hooped ear. "It's all a blur.." she dragged out to silence again. One more look behind her, another to Candace. Her dark brown eyes locked with the other womans. "I like nice things too." She put on a doe eyed stare though her words hinted more and more. "And family. And taking care of things and people." Well that may have been a lie. "And the uh.. closeness too. I like that as well." She almost grinned at the insinuation.
She played with her jangling bracelet. "It's a place I think I could stay a while." Yes Candace, a word to Harrison might be nice. "But.." her doe eyes were back, "I'm very shaken up right now..." A dramatic, fishing sort of sigh came from her. Apparently the information wouldn't be coming so quickly. In all honesty Cee wondered what sort of assurance she could get, if they would let her link up with them in exchange for what she'd seen. She was sure she could prove her worth to their King, if given the chance to speak with him.

"I did. get over it, it's just alcohol." Jing stated with a shrug. But it did give him great joy seeing the reaction on horror and watching the Shifter Nuk's shoulder blades roll back and he could swear that the shiver down his spine was visible. It was delicious There was still a bit left on his lips as he brushed it off with the back of his hand, buzzed from the impromptu mini shot. "Lighten up, I've seen you do worse." he countered, boldly and left the man in the dust with nothing but the feel on a wet appendage on him and the scent of his cologne in the air. But sweet ying, it was ironic that she had the same plan as he, it brought a warmth to his smile that they truly were twins, they almost shared a mind. "You had the same idea as me, didn't you." he nodded, realizing that she was just as worried about him. Left and right indeed, Boss Harrison. "listen, we are going to find a way, somehow. we have no choice now, we have to survive." he continued, patting her on the shoulder and putting on the best brother grin he had. "We'll make it." he assured her again. The worries of having to bury his only sister before her time plagued him far sooner than he ever wished, not even the booze could keept it away.
