Was he resorting to childish insults? Yes. Yes he was.
Tybalt listened as Danny went on, describing Night and frowned again.
Yep. Definitely the same person.
"Nope, only know devil spawn by that name." He said, upgrading the black cat from simply being 'evil,' to being a 'devil' on top of that. Though Mei's words said otherwise.
"Shut up, Mei!" Lucky for Tybalt, his skin was too dark to show that it was flushed from embarrassment.
"And yo--guh!" He started, turning back to Remi, only to turn and come nose to nose with the kitsune.
There was a brief moment of sputtering before the black dog managed to form the words, "Loud and clear!" and give the other boil a shove.

Oh Jack damn it, how far did this thing go? Mort might have begun a small regimen at the gym, but that by no means meant he liked taking long walks anywhere - beaches and dreary tunnels especially.

Reflecting on the Trance for a moment, Mort realized he was infinitely more lucky in two respects: one being he actually had people's numbers, the other being there weren't any offshoots to confuse him. Much as he might complain about the length of the walk, at least it was a straight forward one.

Amphi blinked as she heard her boilfriends voice and raced over to the reaper, her arms reaching up for hugs and cuddles and love squeezing and things like that.
"Hello! What a odd place to meet wouldn't you say?" She waggled her eyebrows, intent on keeping upbeat though her heart said that there was probably danger involved.

((I guess this isn't in a group but individually. *Was confused*))
Calder was following after everyone else, but surprisingly he was being lead more and more by Amrita than doing the leading. He was trying to think of a plan, and looking around for any trouble. He wondered if he should text anyone else.

And look Ma, no traps! At last dear, straggling Mort found his way to the mass of students at the end of this . . . whatever this was. Boss door? Let's go with that. But the boring traverse had only heightened Mort's sense of inner nervousness, because when did Amityville students ever get involved with something that wasn't life-threatening, mentally scarring, or at the least emotionally turbulent?
Bah. He'd have to swallow it down for now, because like it or not, he was here.

For being a group, everyone seemed to be spreading out. He didn't have a good feeling about all of this.

He hauled her into a hug, leaning down so he could--then lifting her off the ground cuz it was just plain easier. "Listen, blue eyes," he said quietly, sounding extremely serious. "I want you to stay towards the back of the group and heal when you can if this turns into a fight, understand?" Not... ah, the most romantic thing, Roch, seriously OTL.

The replies still got a laugh from him, but not as loudly as before. Reaching a hand up the boil placed his palm between the black dogs ears, and ruffled his hair. "Dont get your panties in a twist, alls fair in love and war." Remi wagged his eyebrows at Tybalt, his laughter gaining some volume.
But he let the subject drop for now, his hand too moved from the others head before he could smack it away, something he was certain would happen.
Oh he would need to remember to tease this one more often, his reactions were priceless.

Danny laughed as Tybalt and Remi continued to fight each other, continuing to giggle even as one shoved. Fighting was normalcy for Danny, so she didn't mind a little physical love.
"Are they always like that?" Danny whispered to Mei.

Amphi blinked as she was hauled up, her arms encircling around the reapers and nodded. "I will try my best but....If someone threatens you or Danny, I can't stand idly by." She frowned, "I hope it doesn't come down to a battle though...." She had enough of battles back on the horsemen isles. "You have to promise me to be safe though-" She fidgetted though as her Phone buzzed in her pocket, vibrating against both of their legs. "Ah Danny is texting me! She's somewhere here too." The mermaid exclaimed as she wiggled in Roch's arms to get her phone, Chimarii Text to Danny: There is a lot of walls with Ro-OH I SEE YOU!!! ROCH IS HOLDING ME UP SO I CAN SEE YOU NOW!!! That being said, the mermaid was flailing her arms to capture the fire demon's attention. And was surprised to see The ghoul with two of the people she knew! "Oh Tybalt! Mei! DANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNY!" The mermaid continued to wiggle in Roch's arms and looking over at the group.

Mei waved the black dog off when he told her to shut up, still amused by it all. Looking back to Danny, she shrugged. "Honestly? I wouldn't know. I only met Remi today. But--Tybalt is like that with almost everyone he meets. So..I would guess he is always like this, yes."
Her attention was re-directed towards a certain mermaid ghoul, whom she hadn't seen in a while. "Hey, Amphi! How are you?"

"You's be surprised. We're kind of like...magnets for trouble." Amrita shook her head slowly, really not ready to outright tell this ghoul that the worst is serious, permanent death. "Still, uh...stay with us, if you can." She repeated, and would keep repeating.
"But uhh...aside from that! How're you liking school? Getting into lots of trouble?" It was hard to tell if she was teasing or not; because it was too easy to be a troublemaker, even without realizing it. Amrita knew this first hand; who knew that truth-or-dare was something detention worthy?!

"Okay, I'll stick close," Taima acceded reluctantly. She slowed her pace until she trailed just behind the other ghoul. As disbelieving as she was of all the danger that might have lurked ahead, she had to admit that it was...nice of the other ghoul to warn her. She would know better than Taima anyway.
Taima gave Amrita a genuine smile as the other ghoul asked her opinion of Amityville. "I love it here so far! I've only been here a few weeks, so I haven't had a lot of time to get into trouble--just the minipet thing, really--but the classes are fun and the people are great." Technically she'd only been in a couple of classes, and she hadn't met very many people yet, but. "How about you? Have you been here long? What kind of trouble do you guys get into that it's, like, a thing, anyway?"
