Maximus smiled as he heard what she said. "Yes a long journey is ahead of us, but there is always a long journey ahead of people. It is only a matter of what we do and see along the way." He said as he slowly looked up to the others and looked up at the sky.

"Traveling in the midst of a war between two kingdoms or empires or whatever always makes it hard," Nami muttered for only him to hear. She knew the Vampire would hear her too.

Damian looks at the shape shifter and then smiles. "Well we did pick the greatest time to travel then, didn't we."

"Who knows anymore." Rose said as she stood up and leaned against a tree for support. "Maybe we can be a change that will make people see that living in peace won't be that bad." She added as she looked at the group one person at a time.

"Maybe, but it is often that the road to peace is harder than the road to war." Maximus told her as he stood up and looked to the others. Thinking that they could in fact settle this war and bring peace, he saw that sticking together was the best. Bowing at the waist he said to everyone "It would be an honor to work with you to bring to this world a peace that hopefully will last."

Rose looked at everyone then walked up to the human extending her hand out to him. "It would be my pleasure to work by your side to bring peace to this world."

Damian walked towards the group and extended his hand. "As it appears, I shall be the 4th traveler in this group. It would be an adventure." Damian smiled and then peered at the elf, "Wouldn't want you to get captured again."

Nami yawned and stretched in Maximus's lap. She could care less really but she smiled.

Maximus settled in before looking up to the sky and saying "A new world." He placed a hand on Nami as he looked up at the sky and the stars.

"The world is still the same, just everything in it will or has changed." Damian settled down in front of a tree, leaning against it's trunk. "Maybe we can be that new change. We all know the world could use it."

Rose moved closer to Damian without realizing it but she was just drawn to him and she felt so safe when around him.

To each his own. Maximus thought with a small smile on his face as he noticed that the elf was moving closer to the vampire. He leaned back on the tree and stroked Nami's fur. While he closed his eyes and let his mind wonder, while he waited for sleep to over come him.

Rose sat next to Damian then laid on ground on her back. She was tired so she closed her eyes as she thought about her home.
