Marcus tried not to let his shark-grin then appear. Because he was a liar. What was the professional term for it? Compulsive? Yes, that was it. He was a compulsive liar. He hated that term, it was like he didn't have a choice and lies just came spewing out. And that wasn't it at all. He liked the feeling that you got when you just lied to someone about everything about you. It was like no one ever did know you then. "I haven't lied about my age." He said after a moment with a curt nod, his sharky smile gone, leaving only the small traces of a smirk. "There's no point in lying about your age." His face was grim, but it held this playful manner to it. Like a dog once it started to play. it's tail wagging but teeth bared. His dead-green gaze was stuck on Mori now, like he was some game where you needed to spot the differences and you had to look really closely. "Iron forest. That's cute." He chuckled dryly and ran a hand through his hair, only to return it back to his pocket. It was a casual movement, to put your hands in your pockets. It was normal. Alex would do it. Alex with his good grades and his cheerleader girlfriend, and some kind of kind, cocky personality to match. He didn't even know what Marcus meant, or even Alex or Ryan or whoever the hell he was supposed to be tomorrow or yesterday, but Iron forest was cute. It was almost ironic sounding on this little guy, this little guy who simply reminded him of iron, which made sense. He then paused a moment longer, obviously unsure about his answer to his question, but he dropped it. It didn't matter, did it? If the guy was uncomfortable, unnerved by anything, he would tell him like a normal person and ask to leave. That's what normal people did, he expected. "You think I'm a liar?" He finally asked softly, a smile toying on the corners of his lips.

Squirming uncomfortably under the other boy's smile, Tetsumori let his gaze travel to the trees ahead, blinking up at the swaying branches. He guessed, maybe he could stay out here for a little longer until his little panics get worse. If he never attempted, then he would never know if he would be able to overcome this fear he had. It was simply psychological. There wasn't any reason for him to be so fearful of being out in the open. But, somehow he still was. Shaking his head out of his thoughts, blue eyes rested on the redhead, "I don't know that for a fact." The statement was true. Tetsumori didn't really like having people lie to him. It caused distrust, and distrust could tear people apart. Well, not like they were close enough to tear apart anyways. Their beign together was probably only a sense of boredom and the next day they probably wouldn't even see or remember each other again, "And why is that? If someone can lie about their name or likes and dislikes then why not their age?" He inquired with a tilt of his head, rubbing at his eyes with his overly large sleeves. The sudden shudders that had taken over his body were slowly decreasing, instead relaced with a sense of curiousity. Though, he had to give a frown when Undecided commented on his name, "No it's not!" he protested with a firm shake of his head, wondering why his cheeks were starting to feel a little warmer. Ah, was he blushing? Lowering his head, Tetsumori gave a small huff, "How is it cute?" he gave a small whine in resignation and focused on the ground in front of him, "I'm about 70% sure that you've lied to me on at least one account." he confessed quietly, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he looked around the courtyard again, paranoia edging into his mind.

Marcus only cared enough to give a small eye roll at the first statement. So the kid knew he was a liar. That was alright, most people figured it out within a few hours of meeting him (not like people really ever did meet him, that was rare) and he had changed his story several times. One minute he would say he was raised in an orphanage, where they were bullied and abused. And then the next moment he was raised by a small family in a nice look-alike suburban neighborhood. Little things he would lie about too, little tiny things where it didn't really matter. Do you like tomatoes? No. In truth he loved tomatoes. He liked anything red. "I turned seventeen in June. So I'm seventeen years and one month old." Truth. Why was he giving this kid truth? Did the kid even deserve truth? Marcus gave a small shrug after that, slumping his shoulders once they were let down. "And age is a miniscule thing. There's other things you can lie about, but I guess I didn't need to. There was no point in lying about it in the conversation we held in the cafeteria." He then paused to wipe his dry mouth with the back of his hand, glancing around a bit only to turn his gaze back to Tetsumori. "If you could even call it a conversation. ******** small talk." His smirk reappeared when the kid refused the fact that his name was cute. Because the kid was cute, and a cute person made the name they held even cuter. But Marcus didn't think that romantically, not even somewhat romantically. Looking at the tiny, pale Tetsumori was like glancing at the small, fluffy puppy in a pet store with it's wide brown eyes, begging you to buy it. It was that baby animal kind of cute, that everyone, even the straightest of males, agreed on. "It just fits you. And then it kind of doesn't. I imagine a giant forest, and then tiny little you and it's just kinda...I dunno," He rubbed the back of his neck now, as if he couldn't figure out how to word something. "Cute." Marcus liked the kid an awful lot more than all of his idiot friends he had before this school, back in juvenile hall or community service. Most of them had been big, strong looking guys with missing teeth and half a brain, who he only hung out with because there was no one else to, and he definitely, no matter what, didn't want to be alone. He could imagine them sitting here in about a year, being the best of friends or whatever the ******** guys were with each other, him lighting a cigarette he stole off a roommate who stole it off a guard and Mori studying and sitting there with a stack of books, or whatever smart people like him did in their meantime. And then Marcus remembered that he hated people, hated their presence. And he still couldn't figure out why he liked Mori's. Maybe Mori had cats at home or something, maybe he smelled of them. He always did like cat people better. That was something he didn't hate, in this big vast world of dislikes, cats. He loved them, but he would probably lie about that too."Seventy percent? That's pretty specific. I've probably lied to you about other things, I tend to forget."

Tetsumori had to give a small frown when he looked back at Undecided, his eyes narrowing in concentration. How were they even able to be in such close proximity? They were different, the small boy realized, as different as night and day. Tetsumori had never really lied before; sure, he had said little white lies here and there for the well-being of others, but never to cause others confusion on purpose. It was, well, weird and different to say the least. He didn't even get why Undecided had stayed with him for so long either. Tetsumori hated to be a burden for another. What if he was annoying Undecided right now and the other boy just didn't want to say anything about it. A scowl formed on the nekomata's soft features and he mentally kicked himself out of his thoughts, "You'll tell me if I'm bothering you, correct?" he asked quietly, eyes falling down to the pavement underneath his feet. Now that he thought about it, Undecided wasn't really that much older than him. His birthday was in three months, maybe a little less. But, most people expected Tetsumori to be much younger than he really was, guessing around the age of twelve or thirteen. It was due to Tetsumori's loathed stature. Why did he have to be so tiny anyways? "There's no reason to lie to me either," He stated abruptly, his expression darkening, "it's not like I'm going to be spreading any information around. I'll take what you give me and only process it as information, - like a book, almost - nothing else." he replied back, reaching over and giving the other male a light tap to his wrist, "Watch your mouth, please." His tone had softened quite a bit now, his voice only a murmur. He also knew that there was no reason in arguing about his name either, as the only reward he would be getting would be failure. Instead, Tetsumori did something that even surprised himself; he stuck his tongue out like some child not getting their way.

What exactly coaxed him to do such a thing? Huffing quietly and crossing his arms over his chest tightly, Tetsumori tipped his head up to look at the older male, cursing his shortness the entire time, "Assumptions don't really get you anywhere. Facts do." He might be a little blunt but he was always truthful. But, what he didn't expect to feel was the small pang of hurt in his chest at the emerald-eyed boy's words. Of course he had been lying to him the entire time, throwing out false information like it was nothing more than garbage to be disposed of. "I know." he replied quietly and took a few steps towards the nearest tree he could climb, "I'm going up. Are you?"

Hesitantly, Marcus gave a curt nod when the boy asked him to announce it if the kid bothered him. He wasn't, not yet anyway, so all he did was nod. If the kid had annoyed him, he probably would have left in his hotheaded fury of irritation right away. He decided to ignore what he that strange little question that came from Mori's mouth and listened to whatever he was saying now, turning his head to glance to the boy, because his gaze had been elsewhere. Slowly, almost gingerly, a smile spread on his mouth as he started to explain that he didn't need to lie. He resisted the urge to let out a chuckle, the unnoised laughter only leaving a smile in it's absence. Did he really think he lied to protect the truth? That he feared Mori would spread the truth around to everyone in a matter of days, like some disease he gave him? He decided he wouldn't say anything towards that. Maybe eventually he would give him all his little truths, and Mori could stick each one into a little brain scrapbook and eventually the scrapbook of tiny little truths would be finished and labeled Marcus, because maybe eventually he would reveal that as well. So he said nothing about that, simply nodded and smiled like some joke was told that only he would understand. "Oh, ********, sorry." He mumbled, almost shamefully when the kid asked him to stop with the language. It was a habit, a bad one, but a habit all the same he had picked up from pricks in juvenile hall. When Mori's little pink tongue was stuck out he managed not to laugh, instead his smile just lit up and for once that day reached his eyes. Way to act how you look, Mori. But that was alright, because it was awfully puppy-adorable. Marcus followed him over to the tree, standing at the bottom like he was awaiting for something to fall out. He shook his head at the question, almost saying he didn't know how to climb trees but catching himself on the useless lie. He loved climbing trees, always had. Instead he simply bit his lip.
And then, and he would curse himself for this later, he rubbed the back of his head and revealed one more little bit of truth. "My name's Marcus." The liar blurted out with as much awkwardness as someone could. He practically flinched after he had closed his mouth, his brain yelling at him for telling the kid his name. He let that one slip. Whoops. He tried to convince himself that a name wasn't a big deal, but it truly was. He could have just said that he absolutely adored cats, or all his fears, or even given him some memories as a child. Because a name was a big deal, it was giving someone everything that could keep you undercover. Not that he was undercover. He was just a liar. "Just so you know."

Furrowing his eyebrows in confusion at the smile spreading across Undecided's face, Tetsumori cocked his head to the side. Did he say something funny? Going over his words again, the young male realized that no, he didn't say anything that he himself found amusing. But maybe the taller boy did. Bringing his attention back, Tetsumori shed his yukata and gently folded it up, placing the soft material by the trunk of the tree before standing up again. He knew better to wear light clothing under his yukata. A white T-shirt and grey sweatpant capris covered the boy's form. Besides, it was better to wear actual clothing under his yukata anyways. He was done with experiencing children stealing his obi and making him chase after them. It was foolish and the game ended rather quickly when the others realized that Tetsumori wouldn't chase after them. Yawning quietly, the blue eyed boy glanced at the redhead lazily, this time leaning up to poke gently at his nose, "Try 'damn' instead." he offered with a small smile, which quickly disappeared as the distance between them increased once again. He... really wasn't good with being close to people. It was different and he wasn't sure if he liked the change so far. Yes, it was kind of nice being able to have an actual intelligent conversation with another person; he was still nervous. And he had a good right to be. It was instinctive, not trusting people. Even being around them was a risk in Tetsumori's mind. It explained why he preferred books over humans. Books never spoke, never acted or had a mind of their own. Turning back to the tree, Tetsumori jumped up to grab onto a branch with two hands, using the momentum to kick off the tree trunk and push himself up, fully sitting on the branch now, "Marcus?" he inquired, moving forward so he was laying on his stomach, limbs dangling on either side of the branch. The rough bark scratched pleasantly at his cheek, causing Tetsumori to take in a deep, relaxed breath. Cats were usually more comfortable up high where they could see everything below them. He was content, laying in the tree. If he could, a purr would most likely be rumbling out of his chest, "it's better than Undecided. At least now I know what to really call you. But, you're still climbing up, right?" Closing his eyes, Tetsumori wrapped his arms around the branch, a small sigh coming from his lips, "Marcus," he repeated again in a whisper, "I like it." He cracked one eye open and gave a small smile down at the other boy, nuzzling his cheek into the bark and stretching himself out like, well, a lazy cat.

Marcus raised a hand to his nose, as if surprised it was touched as he gave a small wary look over to Mori, his eyes wide and curious. From what he understood the boy didn't seem to like contact, but he really had only known him for an hour or two. So he offered a small smile, a weak but soft one. He had watched him quietly take off his clothing, stripping down to average fabric. "Why do you wear that?" Marcus yelled up to the boy in the tree, gesturing to the strange robe he had been wearing beforehand. He wanted to add something like 'Don't you get teased about it?' But shut his mouth. Generally he didn't really care if he offended anyone, but there was something about Mori that seemed small, fragile, and delicate. It was probably just his size, since he spoke like he could handle himself fine. Marcus shot a few glances around the tree before nodding to his question. The way Mori repeated his name with a question made him a bit frustrated. Like, he had just revealed this great truth and now he was supposed to repeat it. "Yeah. Marcus." He mumbled, grabbing a branch and hoisting himself up with his arms. He used his sneakers for a bit of traction, yawning softly when he reached a branch about Mori's branch's height, sitting on it and swinging his legs as he peered down to the grass below them. "It's just a name, stop your smiling." The human grumbled when he had raised his gaze to see the small smile stuck on Mori's face. He almost blushed when he saw the way Tetsumori was lying on his branch, finding his cat-like actions adorable.

At the question about his clothing, Tetsumori's eyes fell down to the blue fabric laying on the ground, "Because it reminds me of home. It's kind of like a memento of sorts. Like someone's prized necklace or bracelet given to them by someone they care about and never want to forget," he replied back in a soft tone, stretching himself out as the sun beat down on him through the gaps in the branches, pleasantly warming patches of his skin. And this was why he loved trees so much. The smell of the bark in general was just enough to calm and relax his tense muscles and bring peace to his mind. A content hum passed through his lips, the smile only lessening, but never fading, "It makes me really happy," Tetsumori stated, "You giving me your real name instead of some fake one. Does that mean you trust me a little bit more?" he asked with a silent yawn, reaching a hand straight out to play with the leaves attached to the tree. It did make him happy though. This meant that the other boy trusted him, right? That they were finally going along the path of aquaintanceship.

Marcus would let that go, about his clothing. Perhaps he would ask a question about it later, when they were sitting around and doing whatever friends did and Marcus would pipe up and be like 'Remember that thing you used to wear?'. Or, if he still wore it, for whatever reason he would one day learn he decided, he would ask something like 'Why do you wear that again?' He swung his legs from the large branch he sat on, one of his hole-filled sneakers falling to the ground. He made no movement to go get it, only let his eyes watch it fall before returning to the boy speaking in front of him. Calm. "It doesn't mean I trust anyone." Marcus frowned, obviously a bit hotheaded as he grumbled out the words, glancing around to some other trees in the courtyard. Not calm. "I...I just wanted someone to know, right?" He was explaining this to Mori, but at the same time he was scanning his own brain for a reason. s**t, why did he tell this kid?? "It's not a big deal. It doesn't mean trust, it's just a name."

The dark blue haired boy nodded, climbing over to a branch above the other boy. He was surprised how easy it was to move in the tree, not fumbling even once on his short trip, "I guess not. That doesn't change the fact that you told me though" He couldn't resist teasing Marcus, his smile fading when he realized that he was annoying the other boy. Rolling onto his back, Tetsumori reached his hands up to touch the small branch above him, "Sorry. I'm making you mad, huh?" He paused and sat up, rubbing his eyes before looking up to the top of the tree. He had to admit, this might actually be his favorite spot in this entire school. Everywhere else was too noisy and crowded with people. But here, it was quiet. The type of quiet that made him think of fairytales. "It's sort of a bigger deal than you may think. It's kind of like you opened up a little bit more. You're a hard coconut to crack." He blinked at his own words, finding them sort of silly. Giving a small laugh, Tetsumori shook his head, "Nevermind about that. It sounded weird."

That was correct, he had told Mori. And now he couldn't remember or even think of a suitable reason why he had done such a ridiculous think. His face was nearing an embarrassed pink, an annoyed embarrassed that would make him snap at someone if someone mention it. So instead he glanced away and rolled his eyes at the question he had asked. "You're fine." He murmured, because the boy was fine. It was him that was so ridiculously hotheaded and easily embarrassed, even by his own name. And that brought Marcus back to the point, why had he told Mori? He didn't want to the kid to go away, thinking he was some liar who couldn't tell one truth. Marcus knew that had to be some of it. He snickered at the coconut analogy, being brought back into the real world by Tetsumori's sudden statement. "I'm an average coconut, right? Completely normal. Maybe you're not hitting it hard enough." He added the last part in a small silence, not wanting Mori to feel like he was so very weird. Because he wasn't weird, he was interesting. Interesting. There was that word. "Do you think people think you're weird?" He suddenly asked, scratching his head as he had to look up at Mori for once.

Milo

Milo walked around the court yard smoking a smoke. He looked around at the other boys and chuckled under his breath. He walked over to the side of the building, he leaned against it with his hand in his pocket and the other on his smoke. He pulled out his pack to see how many he had left " damn.. Only 5 left.. I need a new pack" he said closing it and putting it back in his pocket.

He backed up and smelt something horrible. 'what is that stench?...it's horrible!' Akaito said as he covered his nose. But before he knew he fell into a short black haired kid. 'what the hell!?- Oi! Your te horrible smell smoking ugh so nasty!' Akaito yelled as he got up and wiped the cigarette off him. 'great now that stench is on me! You little a**!' Akaito shouted as he grabbed the kids shirt and pushe him againist a wall.
