Tien Li took the poultice and drank it. It wouldn't be a miracle drug, but it would hurt her at all. One way she was dead and this way she may live to try again to bare a son instead of a daughter.

 Username: Chiyo Yukiko Name: Lanikai Yindi Age: 20 Husband: Unclaimed Biography: Lanikai was known for three things in her home land. Being of royal blood was the biggest, followed up by her expensive tastes. The third was the most dangerous however and was the cause of her having to leave the island. She was impossible to pin down and in a fight she was known for being extremely flexible and unpredictable. The day someone pulled a gun however and attempted to shoot the female who managed to disarm then is when her family said enough was enough. They removed her privilege to walk among the people, forbid her to fight, and pushed her into belly dancing along with ballet. Lanikai became miserable shortly after this happened and her parents sent the girl to the desert lands in order for her to find her place beside one of the princes.

Malik was out to find another wife. His first wife had made a firm place for herself and the woman would never be out of his heart, but it was time for her to have a sister wife. The man looked thought the harem of princess waiting to be married off.

Lanikai had laid out comfortably on a fainting couch that was in a gentle, cloth filtered light. The white fabric of her clothes forming around her skin an accented with gold that held the ensemble together in an ornate manner. As she shut her eyes the blue that matched the early noon sky disappeared, but wasn't needed to accent her already beautiful but deceiving smile as a gust of wind brushed her skin and lifted a few locks of hair. I will show them, she commented mentally as she reopened her eyes and glanced over to the entrance of the harem. Some girls seemed to be swooning over one male, she really didn't care to join them. If he wanted to talk to her then he would have to come over, she could wait after all. Lanikai wasn't one to play desperate or weak, she was a fighter in spirit after all.

All the girls swooning over him was nice, but he wasn't interested in that. He only wanted wives that would be dignified in their grace and manner. He's eyes traveled over the woman till they landed on one woman that was laid out on a fainting couch. He walked over to her. This was going to be his first choice of a possible bride. "Good afternoon my lady. I am Prince Malik, who may you be?" He asked her trying to get to know her.

Lanikai studied Malik for a moment before he walked over to her. She wanted to get a feel for the kind of person he was. Once he spoke to her the girl tilted her head slightly wearing a sly smile. "I am royalty from the Mediterranean is one answer," She slid into a sitting position her elbow bent and resting on the arm of the sofa with her head in her chin. "Another and far more proper answer is this: I am Lanikai Yindi of Cyprus, the Mediterranean Greek-Turkish island. " As she spoke the females voice was quiet. This was not because of her being shy, but because she had caught sight of a girl glaring at her. She simply smiled at the girl in such a manner that it said 'Hit me, I dare you' with out it being to obvious she was challenging the girl. " It is a pleasure to meet you, but I should warn you a head of time. If you want someone that just rolls over, I am not her."

Malik smiled. This was a witty one. He loved a smart woman. "Witty I see." He commented with that smile that could say that he would attack her or tickle her. "If I liked a woman that didn't think for herself, then my first wife was a mistake." He told her. His wife sometimes did things that he didn't like. "Tell me Princess Lanikai, what do you think of second wives?" He asked her.

Now, give it a few minutes to take full effect before you try anything like earlier. In the mean time, I highly recommend putting on some weight. You look like skin and bones." He said as he turned to leave. "Oh, and Alfina... Good luck with your new status." Alfina was unable to properly respond. She could only watch as he walked away.

The female paused for a moment and then smiled lifting her chin from the palm of her hand. "Second is only a position of order. If someone made the mistake of it categorizing importance then shame on them." She adjusted once more so that her sit was more of a comfortable lean against the arm of the couch as she adjusted further sitting with one knee bent upwards and her other arm resting on it [See picture in skelly.] "Then again some could always go by the old adage first is the worst, seconds the best, thirds the one that constantly changing meaning sooo... lets go with treasure chest." As she responded the female was curious about the princes questions. "Now riddle me this what if said woman fought for herself too?"

Malik smiled. She was tempting, but this could also cause trouble since he already had one son and a daughter. They came first in his life. There was still two other girls that were suggested to him. "If a woman can't take care of themselves then they are worthless to me. How do I know she wont produce a weak son for me? She also could just as likely die in an invasion of my household while I'm gone." He answered her. "What if I already have two children, at least one of them is a son?" He asked her. Tien nodded. She still wouldn't speak. She suddenly felt shameful that she had took the medicine. This woman only had felt sorry for her. It was because she may or may not be able to bare another child which meant that she would be bound to bare the first son.

"Then why would you want to have another?" She questioned. Lanikai was from a different culture so it was to be expected. "I have no problem with it but where I come from that is the dream number for most. I just want to understand the culture." She smiled a little bit and blinked as a ray of light caught her brilliant blue eyes. "As for the invasion issue. I doubt anyone would be, pardon me, but idiotic enough to try that."

Many woman game from far off countries. He was sure that there was some culture shock for all of them. Malik smiled. It was time for him to get to know more about this woman. "In this country a wealthy man has many wives and sons. The more wives and sons the more prestige you are." He answered her. "Because I am the only son of my father to have a son right now I'm at the top, however I'm also one of the younger ones. My position can move at any time." He answered her.

"Well, I swear... Sometimes he just makes me wonder." Alfina mused. She turned back to the woman, glad she had been able to find help for her. "I know you probably don't know who I am..." She began. "And from your expression, you probably don't want to, but I could just as easily have left you in that state. However, I'm not one to sit by idly while someone needs my help. I'm sorry if you didn't want my help, but I couldn't just leave you like that without doing something."

Morning came all to quickly for them both. Awaking in his wife's arms he smiled watching her sleep. She was so adorable the one couldn't help but stare. Gently placing a hand to her cheek Dash was glad he met her, it was mornings like this that made all the time they spent together worth it.

Eden was a little worried about Princess Tien Li after being escorted from Prince Cure's castle a couple of days ago. She hopped the princess had gotten better, but there was nothing to assage her fears with the rumors that had been floating around lately. Gossip about Cure having a girl child whom he abandoned and taking a second wife who he found on the streets was going around with the servants lately. Eden found it all very peculiar. Tien Li didn't look like she was expecting when she visited, but what did she know? Some pregnancies happened that way. With a sigh, Eden rose from her perch in the garden and went back inside, brushing stray leaves from her hair. She had been told that there was a prince present today, but she had not gone looking for him like every other woman. She rolled her eyes at the thought and liked for something to do.
(sorry I haven't posted in a while...why was I quotted?)
