My name? คlץςє вlคςкฬ๏๏๔. Not like you even deserve to know.
What am I? A Destroyer and an Alpha Lycan.

Alyce cocked an eyebrow when Alex said he knew about the dragon, and even more so when he said he basically didn't give a damn about his own race, along with the fact he lived pretty much the same way she had for her entire life. He then said it sounded as though she needed the dragon gone. Despite the fact she had heard the last thing he said perfectly, she continued to stare at him with a hard, contemplative look. Alyce could never trust humans, but was actually thinking about what he had just told her. Did he really not care if the rest of his race was killed? Earlier he had told her he protected them. She was confused by what she was hearing. Either he actually wanted to protect them, or he really didn't care whether they all died or not. She frowned slightly within her thought.

"We don't need him gone," she said quietly. "It would just be useful," she thought to herself, though didn't say it out loud. "But it really does seem like you're offering to kill it for me, doesn't it?" she said in return. Alyce didn't need favours anymore.. Especially not from a human. They never helped her before. If she ever believed one was even going to assist her, they only betrayed her. She has learned to not let that happen.

Alexander rolls his eyes, leaning now against his large sword. "... Well... I am a Dragon Slayer... and if an offer arises to kill a particular dragon... I'll kill it for the right price." He says before glancing to his fingers. "Although, now that you say it'd be useful to you to kill it... I see little satisfaction in tracking down the dragon myself to slay him myself, for nothing..." He then removes his sword from the ground and putting it once more onto his back, keeping his eyes to her with a small smile on his face. "So, is there anything that I can get for helping out a little by killing this dragon you speak of?" He looses his smile to render his face blank, near emotionless. ”If not, then I’m just going to put off killing this dragon and move on to another dragon… there’s still a number of them I could slay before having to slay this particular dragon, one whom seems a bit stronger than any normal dragon.”

Loki was sitting now and she watched, amused, as her son dug himself into a deeper hole. Of course, how could she know if this wasn't what he wanted? He had performed similar acts before.

Jarod grinned upon Bebinn's agreement to his wish. "Excellent. If we remain a small group for some time, it could come in handy." He almost jumped back as she leaned forward unexpectedly. There was something in her eyes that bugged him. Like a monster scratching at your window. It took him a while to respond. "I haven't gone into it much... but mum's delved into that area a bit..."

"My werewolf guise, for example," Loki jumped in. Jarod's little antics were amusing and all, but she felt they needed to move on. There weas a serious situation at hand. "I've had plenty of experience with being a werewolf, because Jarod's father was one. I would see him turn often enough and he could tell me about it. And then there's DNA intake. It's not the most... appealing or pleasant way for us to learn, but it allows us to go a bit further. It allows us to replicate scent, for example. Of course, the further we go with our abilities, the more it takes out of us. Jarod likes to change more than I do, so he usually has the larger appetite."

"Oh! Oh!" Jarod, continuing with his "childish adult" act, flailed his arm around before speaking. "Since it seems we're all going to tell each other what we can do: I can make fire!"

"...yes. But anyway, Jarod, I think we should move along more seriously," Loki continued. "Bebinn, I've had this Defender-Destroyer situation on hold since Jarod came along, but I believe it's time to get back into it. It's not going to wait for anyone. So if Jarod could be serious for a bit..." she looked at him, pausing to make sure he got it.

"Fine," he said, crossing his arms and then sticking his tongue out.

"...then we can get back on track and discuss what we need to about the Defenders and Destroyers, which is the reason we met up. Then we can talk about ourselves all we want. Then we'll go out and find the information and people required to become involved in this. Whether we stay together or go our separate ways depends on you, Bebinn. I wouldn't blame you if you decided you were tired of being around Jarod. So." Loki sat up in her chair. "Shall we start again?"

(( Sorry it took me a few days to respond, been really busy ^^ ))

Belle nodded lightly, blinking once again to keep her eyes moving. When Dontee suddenly slowed to a stop, Belle forced herself to lift her head, looking around and not seeing much of anything. Hearing Dontee's words however, she got up and made her way carefully back down his tail, walking back towards the front of Dontee and yawning slightly. Ok, so where's this entrance? she said gently, waiting for him to change back and show her where to go from there. She shielded her eyes a bit when he was ready to transform, not wanting to subject her tired eyes to too much bright light.

((It's fine. 3nodding ))

Dontee glances back, waiting for Belle to retreat a safe distance from him and shield her eyes before transforming back into human form. He steps up to the large boulder to press his hand on a certain spot of the boulder, to which after a few seconds a small section of the boulder sinks in, like he pressed a button on it. The boulder then opens up to reveal a doorway, Dontee quickly being scanned as to confirm the presence of the defender before part of the boulder sank to reveal that an opening to a dark cave. Dontee glances back to Belle, pointing his thumb into the cave. "Come, we have to travel through this cave and then we'll be taking some steps down... because it's underground." He then began walking in, but stopped to look back to be sure the elf was following.

Belle waited the bright light was gone before looking at Dontee again, seeing him back in his human form. She smiled a bit and watched as he walked over to a boulder, pressing his hand on it. Soon enough, a cave was revealed. She gaped for a moment while Dontee wasn't looking, then shut her mouth quickly and replaced it with a small smile by the time he had turned back to look at her. Well, this explains why the Defenders are so hard to find... she said, partly to Dontee and partly to herself. She followed him into the dark cave and caught up to him enough to walk beside him when he stopped. She yawned gently again, then partially to keep herself occupied, but also to light the dark cave, she created a small ball of flame above her hand, creating a flickering sort of light across the cave walls. She smiled lightly at Dontee and then focused on her flame, knowing it would help keep her awake and also help them see in the dark.

A smile spread across Agrona's face as a copy of Xerxes--made transparent by the barrier surrounding the arena--toyed with the leader of the cats.

Illusions, she thought approvingly.

The alpha cat growled and bit at the false Xerxes' hand, when the arena seemed to spin and twist beneath their very feet. The alpha and the second creature lunged to the not-Xerxes, the third's ears twitching in the direction of his comrades.

With a low, irritated growl, the third followed his nose. His muscles tensed an instant before he leaped into the air, his claws and teeth aiming for where he could smell the real Xerxes, his mind unfazed by the illusions erupting around him.

Dontee smiles a bit, looking back to Belle for a moment before walking forawrd, leading her through the cave carefully. The light revealed the crystal-like formations in the cave, which were so reflective that the flame seemed to light the whole area they walked. The cave eventurally turns, slowly forming into more like a hallway, rather than a cave... but it was still made of stone and crystal formations. He shrugs his shoulders, glancing back to Belle. "So, you still about as tired as you were before?" He asks, his voice echoing, distrubing a bit of the silence within the cave.

Belle walked beside Dontee, her eyes glancing from Dontee to the cave around them to her flame. It was helping her stay awake rather well, so she wasn't about to let it go out. Plus, it was illuminating the cave around them very effectively and the cave was pretty much beautiful. When he asked if she was still as tired as she was before, she glanced up at Dontee and nodded a bit, saying Ya, it helped a bit to sit, but I'm still pretty exhausted. It's no big deal though, I've done more than just walking around when I've been this tired before. I'll be fine. She smiled a bit at him and winced a bit as the flame singed her hand slightly. She hadn't been focusing enough. She switched her flame to the other hand and focused on it, the slight burn on her right hand healing itself up quickly.

Dontee nods, looking over to Belle as she spoke. He smiles. "I bet you will be fine, not much more of a walk until it's a walk down a large set of stairs heading downward." He says before looking forward once more. They walked a food few minutes through the cave, every now and then Dontee asking minor questions to keep a conversation flowing as an attempt to distract her from her own exhaustion/tiredness. They then come to a set of stairs, no railing as it ran down... but it being attracted to a wall on it's right, to the left of the stairs it seemed to be just an abyss into emptiness, for it was so dark and went down so much that one couldn't much see the bottom, even while shinning a flashlight into it. He points down into the darkness below. "That's where the Defenders' Headquarters lies. I know you can't much see it, but it will become easier to see as we go down the stairs." He says as they begin walking down the stairs, walking on the left side as to insure Belle wouldn't have to be near the side of the stairs that could leave her fearing for her life at every step, but he seemed not worried about being so close to the left end of the stairs, for he's been down the staircase many times.

Sarabelle nodded a bit when he said that she'd be fine, not worrying too much about it. She smiled slightly when she said that they were almost there. She focused on her flame and answering Dontee's questions, glad he had some things to talk about to keep her more awake. She was never the best conversation starter, especially not when she was as tired as she was right now. When they reached what looked like an abyss and Dontee pointed down into it, saying that was where the Headquarters was, she reached her hand with the flame out to see steps heading down into the darkness. She nodded and said gently, Ok, let's go then. She stayed to the right side and carried the flame in her left hand, her right hand tracing along the wall beside the stairs to give herself a little bit of confidence as they descended down the steep stairway.

Looking down to the stone of the stairs, one would notice some parts of the stairs held some cracks on it's surface, a frigid heart may think that stepping on such steps would cause it to collapse... but the stairs held firm, Dontee taking the first steps ahead to show that each step was solid and though old, would support any reasonable weight.

As they descended the steps, the city became more and more visible and the city seemed to illuminate, for it had its own source for light, making the travel down the steps easier. Not only was it now easier to see, the steps seemed to improve in quality as they drew closer to the city. What little railing there may have been, there was now a fine white rail. The steps appeared freshly craved out of the finest stone as their steps drew more downward.

The city itself appeared large, but fine. If one stopped to look over it through a picture frame, they may come to believe that they are looking at a work of art. Creatures of many kinds roamed carelessly through the elegant streets, from the common and well-recognized to the rare and unorthodox looking.

Dontee looks over the city as they begin to reach the end of the staircase, though another staircase awaited them ahead... along with a few defenders to identify those passing up and down the staircase... though, at the current time, none attempted to head up the stairs. And why would they?... the city was fine and held anything one would need to live a peaceful life. Dontee glances to Belle to nod.
"Well, we're pretty much here."

Belle walked down the dark steps with Dontee, not too worried about the cracked stairs, although she did do her best to avoid stepping on the actual cracks themselves. When the stairway seemed to become more illuminated on its own, Sarabelle figured they were reaching their destination and let her flame go out, the light bouncing across the walls from whatever lie below exciting her. She really was close to figuring out everything she had wanted to know about the Defenders for the longest time now, and her stomach was filled with butterflies and anticipation. It was enough to make her consistent yawning cease.

When the white railing appeared and full steps came into view, Belle couldn't help but let a smile spread across her lips and pick up her pace a bit, anxious to see what lie before her. When the city itself appeared, Belle gaped for what had to be the third time since she had met Dontee. This time however, she gave herself a moment of being slightly shocked before she collected herself again, although her bright eyes were still wide with amazement. This place was... breathtaking.

She stopped walking when they reached the bottom of the stairs they had been descending and looked around, her widened eyes taking in everything about the city. It's beautiful, almost magical quality. The different types of people that were strolling in it's midst... creatures she'd only heard about, yet never met, and some she wasn't even quite sure she could identify at first glance. The place itself was calming and astonishingly beautiful and just amazing. It made her never want to step foot out of this place ever again.

Snapping out of it however, she turned to Dontee, her eyes now a bit back to their normal size, and smiled brightly up at him. This place is absolutely beautiful. she said softly, obviously forgetting her exhaustion for the moment as she took in her surroundings.

Shadowing Death

Lucius Carmine
۩════════════════════════۩
Status: Curious and Anxious
Location: In a tunnel
Company:Alyce and Alexander

۩════════════════════════۩

xx"How strange, these, humanoids. So determined to damn the very species they take the shape of." Lucius had been sitting comfortably in the shadows, his illusions hiding him, watching, listening, to the conversation between the one known as Alyce and the one known as Alexander. He had been eating away at their spirit energy as they made their arguments, like watching an entertaining debate. Neither one of them (possibly) aware that he had been passively weakening them, just to fill his own hunger. And both seem quite haughty within their own abilities, but Lucius wondered, was that all they were? "Such a pity that ones such as these are nothing more then glorified weapons of destruction. They could have been more... Productive. So much potential, lost for violence. On the other matter, however, is where this tunnel leads. This man, Alexander, has stopped Alyce's advance. I think I need to... Force their hands." Lucius looked down the dark end of the tunnel; away from the exit. This Alexander was a dragonslayer, and Alyce has some reason to be here. Perhaps Lucius could manipulate the two to work together for his own investigation.

Lucius had a faint memory, one of the many that was starting to fade away, but it was a memory of the first time he had seen dragons. It was before his experiment that turned him into the monster he was now, when he was still human. He remembered a distinctive noise; the sounds of an entire nest of dragon hatching. He observed them from a distance, taking notes on their distinctive noises; to hunters and scholars, it was important, as the sounds of a dragon hatching told of it's current state. If it was exposed and weak. The sounds Lucius had heard meant that the dragonlings were preparing to go on their first hunt; to begin their eventual stage of maturity.

Down the dark end of the tunnel, Lucius used his Illusions to create the false sounds, smell, and even the faintest silhouette of a the dragonlings, preparing to storm out for their first hunt. He made sure that both Alyce and Alexander could notice the Illusions; the sounds were authentic, their scents distinctive, as real as real dragons, despite there not actually being any. If all of Alexander's talk about his desire to slay all dragon-kind was true, then he should show no fear or hesitation in investigating the sounds. And what ever purpose Alyce is here for, she would surely be at least interested in what was going on in this familiar territory of hers. "Let us see your true characters, Alexander and Alyce. What is man? A miserable little pile of secrets. Let us see how you two differ." Lucius spoke in his own mind, watching from the darkness. The small black stain on Alexander's cloth began to move once again... And sprout miniscule, bone protrusions.

Bebinn smirked and sat up again. That got the act to stop. Making a mental note of the fire comment for later, she responded,"Yes, we need to talk about urgent matters now. And your mother's comment about being serious is quite important. You might be called to face worse monsters then me, and not all of them are as charming as I am, and I will guarantee you they would enjoy killing an innocent. As for traveling together, that will depend on one thing." She looked Loki dead in the eye.

"Are you willing to kill?"
