"People either take music writing too seriously or they don't care at all. There's no in between." the feminine looking man grumbled to his blue-haired friend as they walked down the hallways. There were few students that passed by, all wrapped up in their own thoughts as they got ready to leave for the dorms or whatever plans they had made. The two men themselves looked ready to go, yet were stuck wandering the hall.
"At least they know what it is. Nobody ever knows what theory is, and the ones that take the class assume it's something else entirely." Ryuu grunted. He was still in a foul mood from what happened in the coffee shop, but thankfully he was able to take his mind off it with grading papers. That wasn't a good thing, though. The grades were awful, and there was one missing! It also happened to belong to someone in Kaoru's class, so there lied the reason the two were walking down the hall. They learned that that very boy's last class was chemistry, so they decided to see if he was still there, or if the teacher had a better clue where to find him.
Kaoru was about to speak when he heard a sound from a distance. A familiar sound.
"... Quit being a baby! It's not that heavy! Now c'mon, we're almost there!"
"Is that... Kenshin?" the girlish man mused.
"What?" Ryuu murmured and paused to see if he could hear it too. A grim look fell over his face. There was no doubt about it. That was Kenshin. It sounded like he had company. What a great coincidence. Maybe he should leave now and worry about the paper later.

"I'm carrying the glue gun, aren't I?" snapped Kenshin as he held up said glue gun to prove his point. As he turned a grayish blur shot towards him. He let out a yelp and tried to shake off whatever had latched itself onto him. That very thing turned out to be a boy about his age with white hair and a wolfish grin on his face.
"I knew it was you!" the boy barked with laughter from his seat atop the flailing redhead's shoulders. He leaned down and ruffled his friend's hair, slowly turning it into a noogie. "How could I miss that burning red hair, eh?"
"Grr.... Yasu, GET OFF!!" snarled Kenshin as he wobbled around in a mad attempt to free himself. It was like a bizarre version of a rodeo, and the more tired Kenshin got the angrier he got, creating a downward spiral.
"Yasu, down." Kaoru commanded. Hearing the voice, Yasu's expression straightened as he looked over to see the glower of disapproval. He looked like a dog with its tail between its legs as he climbed off Ken's shoulder. Kenshin rubbed his shoulder then punched Yasu in the arm. He let out a yelp and raised a fist to strike when he heard Kaoru clear his throat expectantly. Gritting his teeth, Yasu lowered his hand and instead rubbed his arm while returning Kenshin's glare.
"What are you two doing here?" asked Ryuu, ignoring Bae's entire existence. He instead looked at the seat with faint amusement. "And why is there a shower seat here?"
"For the old man here." answered Ken as he pointed a thumb at the chemistry room. "I'm going to teach him a lesson of my own. But I can't do that with you losers here. Why're you here, anyway?"
"Well, Ryuu and I have to see if a student is there." Kaoru answered. Everyone looked at Yasu, who merely shrugged. "I saw you all here and wanted to join in. Sue me."

Yasu turned around to look at Bae, having not heard the sounds he did. Neither did the rest of the band, apparently. "Yeah, I've been meaning to ask. Why's this guy hanging with you, Ken?" he asked while looking at Ken and pointing at the tall brunette. "You know he's one of our rivals, don't you?"
Ken tensed up and looked around. Yasu gave him a blank look that almost reminded him of a monkey, Kaoru had a disinterested look on his face, and Ryuu seemed tense. "I, uh... Of course I know that, you dimwit!" he snapped at Yasu as he moved to Bae's side. "This guy's my lackey for the day! We had a bet and he lost. Pretty typical for that dumb band, eh?" he laughed mockingly while patting Bae's back. He mouthed an apology when everybody else exchanged looks then moved to the door. Clamping the doorknob, he twisted it and opened. "Now let's get this sta- AAAAAAAGH!!!!"
Hearing the scream, all three band members shoved their way inside. "Ken! What's-" Ryuu was breathless as he spoke, but when he saw what made the redhead so pale he understood.

Every single member of the band was silent and stuck in their own air of contemplation. Ken kept trying to say something, but his words fell apart. There was once an accusing point formed on his right hand, but the index finger long wilted. Kaoru had a look on his face that looked like he knew it all along. Ryuu had a troubled look in his eyes as he rubbed his mouth back and forth, most likely trying to figure out how to keep this away from the media. Yasu had a dumbfounded look on his face, it probably didn't click in his mind just yet.
Then everyone reacted at the same time.
"Old man... You're a *****>" yelled Ken, his accusing point regaining strength.
"I never would have thought Vinny, of all, would be the scandalous one." mused Kaoru, a raised eyebrow to match. "I should have known. It's always the quiet ones."
"Vinny... Dexter... I'm at a loss for words." Ryuu mumbled, still in the same position as earlier.
Yasu laughed as loudly and mockingly as he could at the two.
Vinny, himself, was a mess of emotions and thoughts. He had frantically pulled his pants up when the door opened, so all he could do now was sit in burning shame as his bandmates, and perhaps only friends, all reacted to his secret relationship at the same time. He blushed brightly, unable to think of what to say, or who to address first. He didn't want to talk to Ryuu, he had a look on his face that made the guitarist feel ashamed. The rest of the band weren't making his life any easier.
"Please keep this a secret." he finally said as he got to his feet and moved to the band. "I really like him."
"He's your teacher, Vinny." Ryuu said.
The comment felt like a slap to the face for the guitarist, something he always knew would go against them. "That doesn't mean anything!" he yelled out.
"It means your job." Kaoru intervened. "You're a pop star. That means there's paparazzi hiding everywhere. You're a student having a relationship with a teacher. Do you have any idea how hard it will be for me and Ryuu to stop the media after they catch sight of this?"
