Bix slid his feet along the floor, hoping to find one shift against his legs. He almost tripped when an edge of stone caught his toe but when he felt around under water he pulled out a tablet.
"Awesome. Got one."

Thank God for boots. Jordan moved as quietly as he could in the water, listening to the voices around him and the sloshing of water in the confined space of the chasm. Searching for tablets meant that he'd had to desummon again, and it was making him edgy and uneasy. Twice he'd thought he'd found something under the water, but it was only that the ground was uneven.
The stories did indeed help with taking his mind of the chill and the knowledge that bones lay invisible under the water. He listened quietly. Interesting to catch brief glimpses into the lives of people he knew only as hunters. He didn't have anything he wanted to talk about just now himself, though.
The clicking sounded again, off to his left. He swung the flashlight in that direction, and found nothing. Had he really heard it at all, or was it a trick of acoustics and imagination?

Sherry watched and listened. Tablet hunting?! She was still a bit excited, even after that booby-trapped hallway. Though...walking around in cold, muddy water was not too appealing. Couldn't be helped, she decided. So, Sherry joined the search.
She had only been at the task a few moments before something caught her attention. A smell. A gross, disgusting smell. It almost reminded her of the Sahara mission. Ew. But there was a chance it was something. Moving closer to where she though it was, Sherry let the light of her flashlight fall on the wall before her, before shining down into the water. Nothing. Nothing at all. Just a really bad stench.

Sherry turned away from the bad smelling wall, and picked her way through the dark puddle, shining her flashlight here and there. She hadn't gone very far when she suddenly turned, pointing her flashlight off to the side.
She thought she'd heard that clicking sound again. Standing still for a few moments, she peered out into the dark, but saw nothing. Heck, she couldn't hear the noise, either. All she could hear was the sound of the other trainees, splashing around in the water.
She gave herself a little shake. I can't let this place get to me, she thought before turning back to her search.

Wondering to what that sound could have been but she was total didn't want to find out when it had stopped. Tori looked to her fear scanner to make sure that it was working and to her it looked that it was. She found the carvings on the wall interesting at the story they did tell.
Quietly she followed Sandy down the stairs when she motioned for them to follow and she kept on thinking on the information about the horsemen as she walked down carefully. Once she had stepped down the last step to the ground to get her feet wet.
Tori nodded to her weapon as she shivered a little more at the cold water as she searched for a weapon tablet and she didn't find anything except for uneven ground that when she traced them with her food and tried to look at the with her flashlight they were semi circle craters.

Walking even further away from the wall, she found the flashlight little help. It was dark, and the water was dark. This was really--
Sherry flailed a bit as her foot caught on something under the water. With a bit of splash, her other foot moved to catch her. Silently, she thanked everything that she hadn't fallen into the freezing water. But, what on earth...
Feeling around with her feet, Sherry noticed that the ground was very uneven here. In fact, it felt like there were almost small pits in the ground. It would have have struck her as odd...but everything about this place was odd.
Shrugging, she turned to continue the search, being careful with everystep.
((Try 3- No tablet.))

Something flickered in the beam of his flashlight, under the water; Jordan bent to pick it up, found it lighter than expected. He lifted it out of the water to get a look, and dropped it again as he realized that he was holding a human bone. Ulna, I think, he said to Ferros, trying to push the shock away and remain detached from the sudden shock of horror that had flashed through him as he understood.
What's that? Ferros asked curiously, and Jordan could feel the dragon poking into his memories to find the knowledge.
Arm bone, Jordan said. One of the two in the forearm. Focusing on the clinical detail of skeletal anatomy was easier than thinking about the fact that that bone had once been part of a human being.

Walking away from were she found those strange craters, looking in front of were she was carefully walking and then to side to side to make sure she knew were she was walking and to locate a weapon tablet. Taking one step and she nearly trip on something that she didn't see at all, thinking that it was just a stone but she bent down to see what it could be and picket it up to see that it was a weapon tablet.
I got one Lin. She said to her partner when she let held it out for a second to it dripping to stop before pocketing it inside her jacket. Aklin nuged her to keep on looking that she might find more of them.

Jordan's boot connected with something under the water, something that moved; he nearly fell over it, and had to take a quick sidestep to recover his balance. He reached down into the water, hoping it wasn't another bone. No, it was heavier this time.
It was indeed a tablet, the rune etched onto it resembling a spear of some kind. He wondered if the weapon within the tablet could feel him picking it up, if the consciousness within was aware or if it was sleeping.
It was like drifting, Ferros said. Dark without dark. Not dark. Absence of sight. The dragon hesitated. I could not say how long I waited before I felt you reaching.
Jordan wiped the water off the tablet with his scarf before tucking it carefully into his bag. He couldn't think of anything to say; he let Ferros feel his quiet gratitude and affection.
We're bringing them home, Ferros mused. They can choose again. A long and humming silence, and then Ferros said abruptly, I will not choose again. You are my Hunter.
I'm not immortal, you know, Jordan said. There'll be a time when.
I know, Ferros answered, and fell stubbornly silent.

Once again Tori was walking along to which she stubbed her toe to which she most tripped again. To which Aklin snickered at her for her second near trip that would have landed her into the cold water. Looking down at the water to the rock she had stubbed her toe on and picket up to see that it was another weapons tablet. What a stroke of luck she thought as she let the tablet stop dripping where she put it into her other pocket to make sure she was balanced.

Reine scooted towards somewhere-the-ground-was-actually-flat, and paused to catch her breath for a moment. This stupid flashlight really wasn't doing very much good, the life trainee thought, why did she even--
splash.
The smell hit her as she reached downwards to pick the torchlight up, and Reine put her hand up to cover her nose and mouth reflexively, coughing. The flashlight blinked a few times, then went dark.
Oh snap.

"Woah.." Deryk murmured while looking around before slowly stepping into the waters. Taking in a deep breath, he nodded before beginning to try and see if he could spot any tablets around. As he began to move around, he started to smell something completely putrid. It was making him a little sick actually. He thought of continuing in that particular direction, but it seemed to just be an endless hall of darkness.
It was probably better to not go that way.

The smell still lingered, even as Deryk tried to backtrack. Really, he wanted to get away from whatever was causing it. The source couldn't be something good. He had determined that much.
Even so, he tried to spot any tablets nearby, and wasn't able to come up with much.

The smell continued to persist. Deryk quickly doubled back, trying to find a spot where it didn't linger. He also didn't manage to spot any tablets, unfortunately. The smell. He just couldn't deal with it.
