❣ Ren gets up and sighs. She looks up at the statue and nods, knowing what she must do. She goes over to Xander and sits down. "It's just that... There's been things on my mind..." she sighs, "I guess now's a good of a time as any..." She looks at Xander, "I was the one who found Flame when he was dieing, there was nothing I could do to save him. I brought him back to the den and told everyone... But I was afraid that if I told them what he said before he died it would cause a fight... So I didn't tell anybody." she sighs again, "That's what's been bothering me... Along with the fact that he's dead, and yes, I was interested in him as a mate." ❣

"And what did he say? You still didnt answer my question." Xander looks devastated as he realizes she may very well be saying no to him. Angered by the fact that she would tell him off this way. Though there was no telling for certain if this was true.

"What about me I'm his beta shouldn't I become alpha. Dont get me wrong I am hardly prepared for being alpha again, but... never mind I understand. But how does this explain why you cant answer my question. I know that your goddess told me to wait until you were done training but I really do want an answer regardless of if you looked at him as a potential mate." Xander not able to help himself. "Please you can be honest with me."

Xander touches his mind with Ren's saying with his mind in a soft voice,"Then I accept your answer but know this. Regardless of your answer I will always protect you." Xander breaks the connection with his mind and nuzzles Ren once and sits down to try and regain his emotions. thinking to himself 'I love you Ren.'

Xander hoping that Ren wouldnt mind goes to sleep in the shrine of Panacea.
((OK for reals this time I am off for the night cya tomorrow. If i had more time on my hands i would stay but I dont and I am hungry.))

Buttercup opens her eyes. She had fallen asleep waiting for Ren to finish training. She stands up and rubs a nearby tree to scratch her back. She then walks over to thunderbolt and waits for him to wake up.

Thunderbolt, who had been semi awake watch Buttercup get up. He was never in a good mood after waking up from sleep, but Buttercup watching over him, made an effort to do so.
"Mornin'." Thunderbolt mumbled to her.
