The Reaper had taken to clinging to the refreshment table, ready to pick it up and use it as a weapon if he had to, or maybe to dive under it and get the <******** out of dodge incase the birdbitch bullcharged again. Instead he was stunned by her sudden change in demeanor.
"Wow~ That was fast. You gotta wh---" Before he could finish, big black eyes turned to the suddenly commanding presence of Mitsu, unaware that people had heard their little spat. "Whoooooa~" He breathed out in awe; damn, why couldn't the have all the nice things? He frowned again, body sagging in a sudden mope.
And thus he deflated like a balloon.

Mac was forgotten as she heard the sweet, commanding voice of Mitsu behind her, and she turned in place, leapt into the air, and (hopefully) jumped right into Mitsu's arms bridal style.
Otherwise she just fell to the floor.
"MITSU! SAVE ME! I think.. I think Mac was tryings teh do something bad. And I really gots teh goes to the bathroom. Will yeh take me there?"
Her eyes shone bright and trusting, at the ghoul who'd come to save her from the big bad Mac.
She peeked over at Mort, who seemed too calm for such a scary moment, before returning to looking at Mitsu like she was her knight in shining armor.

So much yelling was going on, but Shun was as calm as ever. He cast a glance to the side at the two, and simply shook his head. They really needed to chiiillll. Though, it looked like Mitsu was taking a stand to try and make them do just that. Awesome. He nodded to her, then turned his attention back to the zombie. "No, I don't play video games. There isn't really much I do for... fun. You could say. I do play some music, or meditate, or train, though," he replied, "... Do you know what's going on over there?"The question was in reference to the thing to the side. Seeing how Freya was now practically throwing herself at Mitsu. Well. Literally.

It was thankful Mitsu was stronger than she looked otherwise out of surprise alone she and Freya would have found themselves on the floor. Instead she faltered a moment, staggering on her feet before she collected her balance hefting the ghoul up into a solid hold and just as Freya wanted, bridal style.
She blinked a moment before she looked over at Mac, shaking her head as she made a face. Mac had been mean to her in the past so it only made since he was being mean to Freya now. "Just sit yourself down." Mitsu barked in Mac's direction, holding Freya close. Her eyes trained on the boil almost dangerously before they settled on Freya.
"Oh course, my dear." But it didn't seem Mitsu was done giving orders. Instead she turned to Shun. "Make sure Mac minds his manners." And with that she carried Freya off to the bathroom. Did it look like they were walking off into the sunset just now? Probably a trick of the eye from the odd decorations.

Mac stopped moping long enough to stare at Mitsu and her declaration. Minds his manners?! UM EXCUSE ME, He was! Freya was warm, he cooled her off. He was a gentleman! A kind hearted young man, helping a poor unfortunate soul! And...And they betrayed him!
"SHUN-" Mac bellowed, looking through the crowd to try and spot the other Reaper. "CONTROL YOUR WOMAN!"

"Know Freya, but otherwise nope," Mort answered simply with another look at the Mitsu-Freya coupling and another listen at the angry boil's accusations. "Don't think wanna know . . ."
Or he could always ask Freya about it later, if he really felt the need. Mort didn't like entangling himself unnecessarily, though, hence his forced chill factor. "N'ways . . . Wish could do music, here is good for soul when playing. Can't meditate too, brain won't let; always noise going on, always thinking' stuff. Train . . . well, tried to," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Am trying. Still hard. Was wondering', though, when did get weapon?" He knew something about summoning days being different than actual birthdays from a post Hel once wrote on Groanspring, but otherwise Mort knew next to nothing about reaper culture.

"As you wish," he said, almost dreamily to Mitsu, watching her wander on away. Shun soon glanced over at Mac, raising his eyebrow. "Wooaah. Woah. Calm down Mac. She's doing fine. You just.. need to chill. Relax. There's nothing to get all up in arms over here," he said with a shrug, leaning back in his chair. Something must have happened to get him all huffy. Perhaps Lizzy was involved. Hm... it seemed those two were a bit of a cause of grief for one another if that were the case. He snapped from his thoughts as Mort spoke to him again. "Well, just gotta keep going at it. If you don't train, you won't get better. It might not be easy, but you can't give up," he advised, "My weapon? Hmm... I think I got them when I was around four or five. How long have you been around Halloween?"He was fairly aware that a zombie or ghost's age appearance didn't necessarily reflect how long they've been around.

B| Well maybe the guy, this "Mac", would chill out after a while. Hopefully. The zomboil really didn't want more yelling. He was, however, a little impressed upon hearing that a reaper didn't have to be very old to get their weapon; he could only imagine a younger Hel, for instance, swinging her scythe around happily while all things in the vicinity lost a limb or two.
"Mrrr . . . lil' over three years now," Mort answered, shifting a bit in his chair as he stuck a finger in his ear and wiggled it around - just to make sure there was still some eardrum left. "Three years? Yeah, three years . . . D-Doesn't feel long. How -"
Wait, asking natural born denizen that wasn't as interesting. Herp.
"- H-How d'you like Amityville?" Mort amended quickly. "Is first school, or transfer?"

Freya was being carried by this strong ghoul who clearly had the best of intentions for her. She glared at Mac, and stuck her tongue out, but immediately curled back up in Mitsu's arms and snuggled into her soft, lovely chest.

It was pretty impressive for ghosts and undead to come around so quickly after they first appear. Then again, it wasn't quite the same as being born. They had a somewhat grown body and possibly some prior knowledge. So, in a way, Shun supposed it was more like.. moving to some foreign place with no knowledge of it or connections. "It's not bad to say in the least. I certainly don't mind the people here," he said while casting a glance towards Mitsu's departing form, "And I have transferred here. It's an improvement. Then again I didn't really associate myself with anyone in previous schools."He just shrugged at that thought. "Is this your first school?"

Mort nodded at the answer. "Same, do like students. Is . . . n'tresting." What with the teachers and the field trips as they were, to boot! "Is first school, yes, Mama not sure how b-best teach r' get n'to school. Saved up money, got lots clients, n' now is here." He looked a touch guilty upon revealing that and pressed on. "How big is family? Have sisters r' brothers?"

"Just my father," Shun said. Was that a hint of disdain in his voice? It was hard to tell. He didn't think about the old man for long. Doing so too much would ruin his zen. In any case, it sounded like Mort managed to find someone to adopt him. Well that was nice. "You're rather fortunate to have such a parent. What is she like?"

Sally, maybe he shouldn't have brought up parents. "Er . . . is like a good mama?" he replied, failing to find the right words to describe her as he usually did. "Thinks knows best, works lot to get money, t-takes care've me n' Gregory. Spoils, but 'spects lot from me - not much for Gregory, but has different needs." More self-conscious neck scratching.
"Don't have father, but Mama tries." But that was straying too close to a topic that they both were awkward about for different reasons. He looked to the prompt card for advice. "Mrrr . . . Power animal?" Mort asked quizzically.

That sounded pretty nice indeed. It wasn't really something Shun could relate to very well however. It also seemed as if he had a sibling.. at least that was his guess with this Gregory person Mort mentioned. "Power animal? I don't think I really have one," he mused. It wasn't really something he thought about. "Do you?"
