Though she didn't think that at all ....that her situation was too unfair. Just that it wasn't one she had picked for herself ...any battle for that matter. As she thought how best to use Protect as she would form it around herself. Even if she couldn't defeat this opponent, he would find himself unable to move forward either and seeing him defend ....she decided that instead of wrapping herself in her own protection. Something that was draining her own reserves little by little she would instead choose to rest as she would try and snore.

The move itself was really only useful if she fell asleep, but she didn't need to be asleep to call that attack upon herself .......as she tried to think of how she could simply doze back off.

((Was hoping to avoid this, but I must take the risk due to a shear unrelenting dislike of Geodude...))

Raven's eyes would simply narrow at the Geodude's assault, all pain forgotten as he glared daggers at the living rock. He wasn't entirely certain, but he held a strong dislike for these Pokemon. Something about their very existence simply irked him. Maybe it was the fact that he infested every last cavern in the region of his birth...and those of most other regions in fact. They were nothing more then large rocky rats. A nuisance to travellers.

Placing one gloved hand upon his belt, in hind sight realizing he'd need to sew that glove, Raven removed the second ball off his belt. He hadn't been planning to use this particular Pokemon within the cavern...but this Geodude was forcing the issue. "Move" The boy would provide this one, simple demand as he released the contents of the ball. In the next moment, the Geodude would be provided with the experience of a Steelix roaring directly into his face. Genn's customary entrance.

Unfortunately that roar soon turned into a yawn as the behemoth caught sight of their surroundings. ">Another cave? Really? Been there, done that....<" The Steelix sighed, tilting his head to look around. Almost entirely overlooking the Geodude, the Steel-Type would begin slamming his tail against the ground in a continuous and swift motion. His version of tapping a foot impatiently.

Such actions aside, the threat was clear enough. Either the Geodude moved out of the way, or they would him.

Name & Level: Genn, Lv 5
[Temperament] Hasty
Bio: Raven met with this Onix while making his way through Clockwork Cavern. An Area Guardian, his charge was evidently a Magnemite the boy had recently passed. Believing Raven a threat, the Onix attacked immediately. Raven seeing qualities he liked in the Pokemon, and after suffering some minor damage while battling against Fable, the Onix was quickly captured. An act he made no move to fight against. Quick to make his decisions, Genn rarely listens to Raven in battle, having chosen his next action before the child even has a moment to speak.

An audible groan would resound through the entirety of the cavern then. Surprisingly enough, the source was Genn.

Whining like a little child, the Steelix looked up at the ceiling, and then over at Raven ">Do I have toooooo?<" He moaned, like a little boy being told to bring his kid brother along to the park. An action which was dismissed almost immediately by a glare from Raven.

">Oh fiiiiiine<" He grumbled, his body shaking slightly as if he were squaring his shoulders. The reddened gaze of the behemoth trailed down, far far down, to look upon his rocky adversary. It was like a segment of his old body; except with eyes, a mouth, an arms...curse those arms! Sure being big was great, but it didn't help much when the situation called for an opposable thumb!

Trying to focus upon that single note of irritation until it became rage, the Steelix lunged down at his opponent. Jaws opened wide, the transition of his teeth to steel hard icicles was as simple as breathing now. He'd pierce this rock heads body with Ice Fang!

Of course, the Geodude had flaws in his own logic. Aside from jumping back into the mouth of a Pokemon that consumed soil and rocks; had he not just stimulated the Steelix's gag reflex?

The moment the rock skin Pokemon got close, the Genn's throat would produce an odd sort of gurgling sound. One that paved the way for what would likely be a most disgusting sight. Eyes crossing, the Steelix would have been puffing out his cheeks if that were at all possible...and he actually had cheeks...

Yup. Genn was about to spew!

Ice coating his teeth, and soothing his throat, the Steelix would lunge once more with Ice Fang!

Short on time before the Geodude recovered, Genn would lung forward again, his teeth coated thickly with ice. One more should just about to it. This Geodude would go from rock solid to snow cone!

((You can give yourself a status effect? Kinda confused but I'm not sure you can. Have fun at work, I have a date with Algebra homework right after this. Another random question: which coat is the Burmey?))

Prime rolled his eyes as the Burmey tried to do an attack where you had to be asleep. -Sorry lass. You need to be in a deeper sleep than a Meowth nap.- he said as he looked for his trainers instructions. Tsuki raised an eyebrow meaning what'd you think? A thousand Leers?

Prime grunted at his trainers growing sarcasm before swinging his arm at the Burmy once more with a Scratch. Another hit like that and it would hopefully get knocked out. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, right?

The attack would miss as the suddenly appearances of claws were enough to wake up her up fully. Yes, she could go to sleep, but not without help in the middle of a battle especially with her opponent going after her. She would simply glare at him ...this was ridiculous.

There was little that she could do as she simply looks. She was doing nothing more than being a distraction at worst, and she plan to continue in such a line.

((First off, yes I could. If I haven't already posted she is awake, and since this is a battle ...it's kind of hard to have a pokemon simply fall asleep in the midst of one without a status affliction.))
