Chi scratched the back of her head as she shut the door behind her, walking over to the bedside. "Sorry to disturb you, but you need another injection of the cure... and I didn't want to freak you out by trying to sneak in here and just stick a needle in you," she admitted with an embarrassed laugh, taking out the pouch with the syringe and the two remaining vials.

"Probably would have been better than making me watch you push the needle into my arm." he joked lightly, looking up at her.

"Well you don't have to watch," Chi countered, smiling brightly. She cleaned the area on the opposite arm compared to the arm where she had given him the first dose. "Just hold still again. One. Two. Three..." And again she stuck him carefully with the needle and injected the serum before pulling it out and healing the small puncture.

Vale just stayed still watching her. "Well it's force of habit when theres a foreign object being pushed in my skin." he said smiling. "Really glad you changed my mind..." he said suddenly.

Chi put the syringe away and titled her head curiously at him. "Changed your mind about what? Watching the needle?" she asked, confused.

Chi kept her head tilted at him for a bit before shrugging. "It was either that or fight you when we first met, so I went with the less destructive option..." she said, softly. She stared back at him, then hesitantly moved her hand over his eyes as if to test how blind he was already.

Vale almost didn't react, however, when he did, he reached up, placing his hand on her's. "Don't worry about my blindness, ok...? It can't be helped."

"But..." Chi started, though only trailed off in the end with a sigh. She didn't move her hand away just yet for the shear fact that his hand was on her's. "What's it like... having inherited one of the greatest Genjutsu's known to the shinobi world... yet at the same time cursed with it, potentially going blind?..."

She held her hand there for a bit longer before pulling her hand back. She pulled up the chair to the bedside again and sat down, folding her hands on the the edge of the hospital bed. "So... is there anything you wanna talk about?... I already asked my share of questions. It's time to let you have a turn," she said, the soft smile returning to her lips once again.

Chi blinked twice before looking at her hands, having to think about it. "My first goal was to just get cured. Now that that has been accomplished... well, I only made a simple goal: to help others however I can, whether it be using my skills as a kunoichi to fight and protect, or to train my medical talents to heal. Other than that, I never really made any other goals... I never had a dream to reach for...."

Vale closed his eyes for a few moments, finding it sad she hadn't found a dream. When he opened them again, he was just staring off into space. "What do you desire most?"

"To be accepted for who I am... instead of being thought badly of because of my clan," she replied simply. It was clear that she had a long history of being part of a clan living in infamy, which was a sort of paradox since she would have been hated by others yet she still wants to help those who had looked down on her in the past. Strange world she lived in...
