Suzy leaned down and pulled out a dagger from her cloak. She was going to show him that there was no way that he could kill her. The woman unsheathed the dagger before plunging into her belly. It was painful, but it would never kill her. She then pulled it out and watched as her skin and body healed to what it was before. She then looked up at Nyuu. She was sure that he was watching. "You can't kill me just like that. There is no way a little patty-cake game would kill me." She told him.

"Only the sun affects my body and as far as I know only a stack through the heart will kill." She answered in a semi-confident voice about the subject. "isn't there a saying about getting over your fears by going head first?" She asked the other.

Suzy smiled and walked closer. She walk was elegant and once she got to Nyuu she wrapped her arms around him and whispered in his ear. "Here or somewhere else?" She asked him with a vampire grin.

At his response, she turned her attention back to him, mildly surprised by the answer. She wouldn't complain, however, as she really wasn't a fan of crowds. Despite the fact that the town wasn't overly crowded now, she was fairly certain that it would change within the next hour or two. Just since they'd arrived, she could tell that there were more people walking about on the streets. "Alright." She considered his next question, finding an answer easily enough as she thought about what Simon hadn't seen yet. "The cliffs are the only thing I'm assuming you haven't see yet." She flashed him a smile, taking a step back from the fountain before turning to face the direction they would be going in. "So I show you that." Huh? Oh, hi. I'm Rebecca Lawrence. After crossing the town and another small section of the forest, they emerged from the line of trees onto the rough rock leading out into the cliffs. They were plenty wide, but as they signified the end of the island, one could see clearly the vast ocean beyond them. The sight was beautiful, in Rebecca's opinion, but her favorite part of the scenery was the fact that it was most empty of people. Thoughts were a tricky thing, and she was always happier when other's remained away from her; yet, lately she felt less guilty having her ability, though it was still more trouble than it was worth, and she hated headaches. For now, however, she was happy, and unconcerned about having Simon with her. He was always so careful around her, and seemed to understand how she felt about her abilities. "Here we are." She announced to him lightly, raising an arm to motion towards the edge as she continued to speak. "It's as far as you can go without leaving the island."

 Simon followed her closely, quietly curious about these cliffs but his curiosity was satiated as they arrived there. The water was beautiful... a thought popped in his head, he repressed its words but its message made it to him, that message being "You've got a stage, say something.". Simon pondered... eventually deciding sidestepping the issue would get him no where, he had a stage and an inclination. Why not make it known? He sighed slightly before looking to Rebecca and saying, "I like you... quite a bit... more than a friendship though... I like you... and i guess what I'm trying to say is.... would you like to go out with me as more than a friend?" he kept his face locked in a rather sheepish grin of uncertainty whilst in his head he was saying "Oh smooth move dip-s***! Wonderful stage and scenery and you can only stammer out a pathetic confession of attraction to her?" he was annoyed that he'd said it so haphazardly... the only thing that was a consoling factor to him was that he'd told her. In his own rather indirect manner, without having her read what he was thinking about her or sending her a text like some cowards do, he'd gotten it out there with words... now came the part he was really scared about the response. How would she take it? Perhaps she would recede back into her shell? Maybe she'd just like to keep it at friendship? Simon preferred the latter in regards of negative backlash... but he hoped for a positive reaction. He really wanted to look back at the ocean to find something to distract him for now, but that felt like a cop out, he wanted to see Rebecca's reaction and for her to know he was serious. That he wasn't just telling some bad joke, heck he tried to maintain his emotions so she wouldn't be swayed by them but they were going haywire. He couldn't tell what he'd feel but he knew whatever happened next would be the decider and he was pretty sure that he'd feel the maximum of it whatever.

Huh? Oh, hi. I'm Rebecca Lawrence. For the most part, Rebecca had had her gaze trained on the ocean, watching as the waves lapped over the rocks beneath the cliffs. It was calming to see the repition, and she was able to cast aside the headache that had threatened her back in the town. More relaxed now, she turned to face Simon as he began to speak, surprise fluttering across her expression as she realized what he was talking about. She let him continue, completely silent as he asked his question. Her immediate urge was to glance away, as she could feel her cheeks gain a very distinct blush, but she managed to stay as she was. His own expression was certaintly serious enough, and from the sense of his emotions, she was sure that he wasn't teasing her. Of course, she would never expect that kind of joke from him, but if was nice to be certain. After another moment, she nodded slowly, her own words soft as she responded shyly, "Uh, yes...Yeah, that'd be..." She paused, taking a breath as she looked down for a moment, mentally cursing her own shyness. This was an opportunity, one that she would take with confidence; raising her head again, she smiled faintly, reaching for one of his hands as she nodded once more. "I'll go out with you."

Simon heard what she said... and stopped for a second, his mind not entirely having caught up with what had just happened. "YES!!" his wings flared and he shot up at least 10 feet in a single flap, it hit him then that he should try and calm down a bit, he landed gently a smile broadly decorating his face. The two-fold satisfaction of having told her how he felt and having faced his fear of rejection making him ecstatic, "Hehe, sorry about the taking off thing..." he said his grin wouldn't go away but he was sincere that he didn't mean to jsut tkae off like that, then an idea struck him. "The ocean sure is beautiful, wanna take a quick fly over it?" he asked, it was one thing to look at the ocean from land but another to get a good look at it from the sky, or at least he could bring her over the water jsut fly around a bit, but onw thing he wouldn't do would be drop her. Simon's emotions were set on happy no matter how hard he tried to calm down.

He had been rather quiet today

Huh? Oh, hi. I'm Rebecca Lawrence. With her mood lightened and her concentration on Simon, her mind wasn't as closed off as she would normally want. However, this was one instance where it came in handy, as she knew the take a step back once he had decided to jump. Another small laugh escaped, and she only shook her head when he landed. His apology was brushed off, as she could truly feel how he felt with her emotional ability. His question caused her to glance out to the ocean, then back to him. He wouldn't drop her, she knew, and she was willing to be that the view would be better than the one she had gained over the forest. "Sure. I'd like that." She stepped closer to him, prepared to be picked up as she had been last time. Wrapping her arms loosely around his neck, she leaned her head against his chest, rather pleased by how the day was working out.

Simon would've smiled wider if he could've today was turning out ot be a fantastic day. He began cradling Rebecca as she held onto his neck and leant her head against his chest. Simon exhaled trying his best to calmly evaluate the wind variables, the cross winds were going to be stronger over the water. But he could do it. Simon took off with 3 mighty flaps of his wings and set about flying over the water. He kept them 6 feet above the water, close enough to appreciate its beauty, but high enough that he doesn't risk dropping her in there, or falling in there himself which would in turn put her in there. He looked at the water and the horizon. All in all, it was a pretty awesome scene to behold. Simon, lacking anything intelligent to say, just tried to put across the awe he felt at witnessing it, and how happy he was to be seeing it with Rebecca.

Huh? Oh, hi. I'm Rebecca Lawrence. Enjoying the quiet, Rebecca was content to watch the ocean from her place in Simon's arms. It was a truly magnificent view, and she found the sparkle of sunlight on the waves to be her favorite part. Simon's emotions were clear, and while she was still hesitant to have that ability so open, she felt too content with the situation to concentrate on shoving them aside. The wind was cool, but she was still glad to be wearing a light cardigan, sure that it would be chilly otherwise. Snuggling closer, she kept a faint smile on her expression, pleased with the flight and the view it provided. Outside of the veil, she never would have had the chance to see and do this; Reed's was a wonderful school and island, and along with Simon, she was sure that the upcoming year would be promising. After a few more minutes, she spoke again, looking up and shifting enough to see his face. "I'm glad you're happy."

Simon looked down at Rebecca when she spoke up. He saw the obvious smile that decorated her features "I'm happy that you're enjoying yourself." he said as sweetly as he could right now he had to afford a lot of attention to resisting wind currents and amintaing a gentle hold on Rebecca. She was adorable and Simon was careful with her he didn't want ot hurt her in any way. He was liking how things were gonna turn out this year. He realised they'd pulled a relatively far distance from the island. Fearing the gusts he'd have to encounter going out further, and more so, the danger that could put Rebecca in he flew back towards the island. He kept close to the water until he started a gradual ascent so he could land them on the cliff. Once he'd landed he gently began placing Rebecca on the ground, only now did he realise it was really cold out there. He felt that his jacket was still tied around his waist and was thankful. Once Rebecca was on the ground Simon was going to put it on. He said whilst lowering her, "I've seen your dorm. How 'bout you come round mine for dinner?" he asked seeing the cliffs was brilliant but a good date of sorts would end best with dinner. Of course he'd have to emplore Lucian to let him cook again tonight. Which meant Lucian would be cooking for 2 days straight.
