Robert dropped to his knees after the sculptures had been destroyed, and wept for his missing comrade.
Well, he didn't so much as weep as he threw snow in the air and made believe it was God weeping frozen tears.
"SANTANATOR WHERE ARE YOOOOOOOOOU."

"He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake," Madison sniffled, pushing herself up. Her pants were torn from the snowman's sharp teeth and her ankle was getting cold. It hurt. "I was a good girl! I was! I gave up my life to help humanity, right? That's worth presents, right?!"

Overhearing Otto, Cass looked at him in shock.
"n-No presents? Nooooooooo! Marcus asked me to do it with him!"
Meant completely innocently, but it seemed in her JOY filled state, Cass couldn't string together a proper thought for other people. Would other understand that it was sad that there would be no presents because she'd tried so hard to make a good sculpture with Marcus...
Not what.. ...
Oh Cass.

Otto got up and approached Cass, grasping both her hands. He looked at her with earnest sincerity. "Don't say that! Christmas is a time of miracles!" Otto said to her, nodding firmly. "I'm sure he'll still bang you, even without a gift!"He thought he was helping.

There was a long stare as Cass was staring at Otto. Her hero, trying to reassure her that...wait...
"You think so?" she asked, giving her fellow trainee this sort of wistful look. "I mean...He asked me to do it with him so we could get the presents and then this happened and it's all going to hell because Julie spiked the snow."
Clearly Cass was the best person to trust with all logic ever. The booze-mission was proof of this.

Jerry was feeling cold again.
But at least he had stopped shooting things and dancing.
Instead he wondered idly where his pants had gone and prayed they were still where he left them and then pondered if Killzone would kill him if he put them back on.

Santa was dead. Christmas was saved. Some were rejoicing. Some were not. Cass was crying about doing it with Marcus Candace didn't understand what that had to--
...
Jerry still had no pants on why didn't he have pants on?
"Jeeeeeeeerrrrryyyyyyy!" Candace cried out, throwing her arms around the man and clinging to him. She nuzzled her face against his cheek and whined. He was so cold! "Theydestroyedmyfortressweworkedsohardonthatwhyyyyyyyyy." She whined, still clinging.

Maybe she was frightened stiff, or maybe she was too mind-blown to move a muscle? After all, when had she ever seen a snowman just come to life?
In any case Minerva swiveled her head left and right before looking over to her partner. Vanessa had participated, that much the death trainee knew of. "Hey!" She called, taking several steps over to the red-headed woman. "Nice moves out there!" In reality, Minnie might not have seen everything that Vanessa had done, but certainly she left a dent somewhere? Scanning the the lumps of snow left in the battles wake, a long drawn out sigh blew from the trainee's lips sorrowfully.
"So.. Who wins?"
((I keep getting distracted! ;3; Nice work everyone lul))

"Whowhat??" Jerry blinked as suddenly he was warm again, tackled from the side and it took him a moment to register what was happening. Roar vanished in a burst of green light and he hugged her back, "Oh, yeaaaah we didn't even get a chance to take photos," He sighed remorsefully, if a bit distantly. "But... er... no one died, at least?" He added brightly. Mmmmm she was warm, yes, this was nice.

"...We didn't." And then Candace gave Jerry the saddest face, or she tried to. The JOY in the air wouldn't let her feel anymore sadness than she already felt. Damnit! She nuzzled her warm cheek against his ice cold one and nodded, sliding her arms around Jerry to hug him underneath his coat instead of outside of it. "Santa died, Jerry...and mine and Aria's fortress guard." It'd been so glorious.
She will never forget you, Bossupus.
"Jerry. Why are you wearing a leotard? You must be freezing my poor Jerrbear!" She gave him a kiss on the cheek. And then another. And one on his forehead. And one on his chin. All the kisses! He got them!

"Er... my... ah... advisor told me ahahahah um... it was good for er... self actualization or something of that nature, ahahaahhaha..." He babbled anxiously. "But... but he said something about promotions so... well, it SEEMED like a good idea at the time, ahahahah..." Still chattering a bit, he was more than happy to snuggle up to her, adjusting his glasses as he glanced around for any more signs of movement, "How did they just... spring to life like that? I didn't know Deus could do that! Certainly a good training exercise!" After a moment he added, "It was just a training exercise, right?"

The last of the horrific animated sculptures fell into the snow with a heavy thud. It was safe again: they had saved Christmas, and probably, in some odd convoluted way, saved Deus itself, though the latter didn't matter much, really.
However, just before anyone could consider the present drops, after all, all bosses should always drop loot, Santanator Boss 3000 came back, hellbent on revenge over its fallen comrades.
It didn't help that it looked considerably larger than before, and while sadly, at one point those might have been control runes, it was more like they were Joy controlled runes. Santanator 3000 whirled, flashed its bright lights, and began to pelt anyone within range with tiny snowballs. Tiny pebble encrusted snowballs, because Santanator 3000 did not play fair. FINAL BOSS ROUND 1 SANTANATOR 3000: HP 250/250RULES:- exclaim If you are targeting an ally, be sure to quote them. This includes using an ability or just communicating! - You can only attack once this round. You can have unlimited reaction posts however! - At the bottom of your post, please post your character's total HP value, the damage done, and your target's HP so far. Your HP values CARRY OVER from the last boss fights, so you have what your HP is unless healed by another player! - Be sure to include the THREE bonus GM effects posted if they appear prior to your post. - Good luck and save Christmas.

When the snow sculptures came to life, Aria did what her training as a Mist bade her to do: get the hell out of there. She wasn't a Sun, there to deal damage. Nor was she a Moon, a healer and defender. She was a Mist goddamnit: she wasn't one to stand out in the middle of chaos and attack the first thing that shouted 'BOO!' at her. Aria dropped back, watching as the trainees dealt with the sculptures that sprang to life. There was something satisfying about seeing the creation she and Candace had put together become nothing more than a pile of shapeless snow. It was squashed, defeated, nothing; for the first time in weeks, Aria would be able to sleep peacefully. Unless she caught a cold from playing in the snow for too long, but it would be totally worth it. Especially for presents. When was the last time she was even around for Christmas? No time to think about it now. The Satanator rose up again, and Aria was ready. Her flamethrower appeared in her hands as she dashed up past the trainees, pulling the trigger and coating it in the blue fire. She continued to run, using the momentum of the dash to run up the sculpture's leg and execute a backflip, spinning around before dashing away. The Mist Leader shook off the snowballs that pelted her as she reappeared behind the trainees near Dr. H and Caelius, smirking. Considering how quickly they dispatched the other sculptures, Aria hoped that this one would pose a greater challenge to them. NPC DEBUFF The next 10 successful hits now deal only 50% damage. ie, if you hit it for 2 HP, you deal only 1 damage. If you hit it for 5, you deal 3 damage (2.5, ROUND UP to the nearest whole number please!). This effect lasts for the next 10 successful hits. If you miss, it does not count towards breaking the extra ice armor Aria just placed on it.

Doctor H had been content to just sit back and enjoy the show, but upon seeing the Santanator, he could no longer just sit idly by. These trainees were going to take that thing down eventually, but he wanted this battle to last. This was a new type of golem and damn if he wasn't going to make sure they gleaned a fair bit of data from this battle. While making a quick call to the labs and surveillance teams, he reached into his robe and pulled out Marie's totem. "Right then, lets see what you've got." The bladed chain whip glowed brightly before striking out at the ground. The air was suddenly filled with a flurry of snow making visibility low for the trainees. He was willing to ignore the fact that Aria whenwillyoujustdiebitch was apparently of the same frame of mind as himself. NPC DEBUFF Your regular attack accuracy has gone for the next 4 rounds! However this does not effect your actual damage when you manage to hit! When you roll, you will need to subtract 8 instead of 6 to see if you hit the target. If the total is greater than 0, they will hit for the normal amount. Example: Your roll totals 7: (7-8 = -1) you suck and miss have fun being a loser Your roll totals 12: (12-8= 4, hit! 12-6=6) you successfully hit and do 6 damage!
