Avery's attention was brought back to Colette when she spoke, and he grinned, a twinkle lighting up his eyes. He didn't have to be asked twice... he got ready to leap towards her, but then Spiro started walking away, and he paused, confused.
"Just like that? But... we haven't even finished the puzzle... and... and... I was gonna show you how much fun tickling is... and... I don't get it." Avery sighed, and watched Spiro leaving, wondering if he should chase after him and drag him back to the puzzle, or not rock the boat any more than he had and let Spiro leave.
He rocked back and forth from foot to foot, his body broadcasting his uncertainty.

Colette blinked flinching when avery was about ot tickler her, the inevidable grin pulling itself onto her lips.. before opening one eye, then the other to look up as spiro walked off .. the question he asked confused her a bit, her arms still up in the air "Why wouldn't i want to make everyone happy..?" she was still confused, shouldn't she make people happy?
She watched him walk off frowning a bit "He didn't seem mad at us.. right?" she asked avery tenitavly.. she didn't want the no he was mad answere, so she was scared to ask..

The boy continued trodding his way along, gaze drifting slowly down towards his skinned knee, a limp still evident in his gait. He was hesitant to throw a response back towards both Avery and Colette, head dipping itself forward slightly.. Finally, the only thing he could come up with a "sorry", muttered just loud enough for them to hear, before he continued on his way. Still, he was unable to understand why Colette wanted for everyone to be happy so much. It was reasonable to understand not wanting to make people angry, but... A small shake of the head and his mind was on other matters.
His eyes lifted towards the sky, examining it thoughtfully..

Avery shook his head, very confused. "No, not angry. Just... sad." He paused and then got a determined expression on his face, before walking after Spiro, his own limp also rather evident.
He caught up to him, and asked softly, "Are you sad? We still want you to play with us if you want... Or..." Avery's mind worked. He knew Alida sometimes locked the room door so that she could be alone. Spiro seemed the type to do that, too.
"Do you want to be alone for a while? It's okay, if you do, we'll still be here when you want to play again. We still need to finish the puzzle! I'm not as good at them as you are, so you have to come help us again!" Avery nodded firmly, and then looked over at Colette for her verdict.
Inside, Sybil was bored. The room was empty, and while her bean bag tunnel was warm and comfortable, she wasn't really the type to want to be alone all the time. She just didn't like to be a direct part of the action.
She slowly crawled out of her nest, and then made her way to the porch doors, pushing them partway open. She stayed there for a moment, surveying the rest of the preschool grounds. That's Avery... She didn't know the other two, but didn't really feel any need to go find out, either. If it was meant to happen, it would.

Silvia leads a nervous Avani into the pre-school. Avani stays behind her mom's legs, one small hand in her mom's. She looks quickly around at her surroundings, unsure of what to do.

Sybil may not have looked very aware as she slouched against the wall, but looks can be deceiving. She noticed the arrival of a new girl, and deciding that since the new girl had gone inside... it was okay for Sybil to as well. It was too cold outside for her tastes.
She opend the door again, and went back inside, removing her shoes again. She saw the girl and her mom on the other side of the playroom, and smiled a little bit, and waved, but didn't make a move to go over there. Instead, she slowly moved back towards the pile of beanbags she had made earlier. The nest was so warm...

((*gets forced to respond by freize* but i'm sleeppyy ;__; ))
Colette blinked.. sad? he couldn't be sad.. had she done it? She started to worry, staring after the boy, he was so.. complicated.. she couldn't figure ou what made him happy. She blinked when Avery ran off, standing to take a few steps after him then stop. She blinked biting her lip, and nodded along with what avery was saying. Smiling she called after them, they hadn't gotten too fair but still needed to be louder than normal for them to hear.. "Yea! We'll wait for you okay?"

Genuine surprise showed itself on the boy's face at that, and he blinked once or twice, gaze travelling between the two. He was hoping they wouldn't hate him.. And... They didn't?.. They still wanted to play with him? Relief washed over him, yet didn't show itself on his face.. A slow nod, "I.. Really just want some time alone... To think.. But.." A warm smile spread over his face, his expression seeming to soften, a grateful look. "Thank you... I... Would like that.. To play again. Soon.. I'll come back." He turned himself away from them, looking up towards the sky, "I promise." And then he continued on his way, his face falling back to it's neutral expression..

((I ******* hate Gaia. I typed my post, hit submit, and the damn site had logged me off, so I lost it all. ERGH! *gets her dad's shotgun*))
Avery nodded his agreement with Spiro as the boy walked away. Nevermind that Spiro wouldn't see it. Avery wasn't completely happy with the way things had turned out, but he supposed it was the best he was going to get out of the quiet boy.
He swung his arms around as he pondered what to do next, his overabundance of energy keeping from standing still. He kept most of his weight on the uninjured leg, so he wouldn't put pressure on the ankle he had fallen on before. He wondered if they should tell the teacher... but Colette had gone to get ice before, and the teacher didn't come out to check. Why should she now? He shrugged again, and thought, Momma'll do something about it when I get home.
He shrugged, and turned to look at Colette. "So, uh... what do you wanna do now? We could go inside, if you wanted, but I don't know what there is to do inside. I came out here almost right away." He knew that if he suggested anything outright, Colette was likely to go along with it, just because he wanted to do it. So he left it up to her. That way he knew it would be something she liked. That's what friends were supposed to do, after all.

Now sitting ontop of the table hardly noticeing anyone else around amid his small mess of chaos and distruction, Tobias started to scribble on a paper. His fox ears flicked a bit, and his scarred form hunched forward. He made little playful growling sounds as he scribbled. Curled now over his back his tails all flicked in different directions, makeing more of a mess for the focused tiny kitsune boy.
Adon sat on the floor curled in his block fort with a blankey in his arms. He looked sleepy, but that was only if one didn't look at his fox ears, constantly moving to pick up sounds.

The girl and her mom hadn't noticed Sybil's wave, and she drooped slightly. Then she shrugged, and figured that it wasn't meant to be right now, then. "I'll wait until later," she said to herself, and then walked back over to the beanbag nest. She burrowed her way down inside, leaving only part of one wing and the tip of her tail showing.
MMmmmm.... warm. She thought contentedly.

((gomen, lack of inspiration on what to do with colette o_O))
Colette blinked she really wasn't sure what to do.. tehre wasn't much to do outside with avery's ankle like that though. She paused to think.. nodding a bit after she made her decision "I think there are some toys inside, how about we go inside? That way your ankle can get some rest!" she smiled waiting for his okay and then to follow him inside.

Avery nodded, and led the way to the door, shoving it open to go inside, and holding it so it wouldn't slam in Colette's face.
Once inside, he looked around, noticing a few other kids at play or just sort of... lounging around.
He turned to Colette, and said, "Soo... what'd you have in mind?" He really didn't have the slightest idea where to begin. He thought he saw tubs of blocks over off to one side...
Building stuff and knocking it down is always fun... he thought to himself as he looked at it consideringly.

The little sheep cursed boy sat watching others play. He had no time or urge to want to attempt to play with them. He liked his soliatry, and wanted to remain that way. He stared with unblinking eyes at all the other children around him, what was the point of this place? questions swarmed through his head as he could not come up with a smart response to the questions he was asking himself.
