my name is Shadow Walker Magneto left with his orders in place. The good news is that one of them was to train with Amp. However she wasn't crazy about all of the sudden becoming Blink's roommate. Blink and I are roomies... This should be interesting confused She quietly approached her, "You okay Blink?"

a.k.a. Myth  "Your room is next to Cassandra's so you should have no trouble finding it." Dean said to Felicia as she left. Cassandra was going to have a hard time if Felicia manages to get that other side under control. Now then....Dean was plenty of warmed up thanks to Felicia so he decided it was time for the Danger Room before calling it a day. He needed to come up with a good way to disable a Sentinel if it really came down to it during the parade. He had taken down enough in the Danger Room but the environment would also suffer if he went all out. And since the parade is going to be packed with innocent bystanders that method was a no go.

though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry 
"Peachy, just peachy," snapped Blink forcing a smile. "After all, I am lucky that Magneto was kind enough to not kick me out of Genosha considering that Amp getting out was my fault, right Warp?" She narrowed her brown eyes at him but he said nothing. "Genosha is everything to me. I've been here since it first opened. I just want peace. I don't expect you two to put yourselves in my shoes."
She stood quickly, grabbing Warp's arm to steady herself before recovering. "Come on Warp. I suppose you are supposed to start training me. Amp should be waking up soon and I really don't want to deal with him..."
"Right," Warp muttered, "You care to come with us, Shadow Walker or want to wait till Amp wakes up?"

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker needed to be cautious as much as she wanted to stay with Amp and discuss further their plan they may see it as suspicious. Plus if he's gone they may suspect her first. She figured there may be a chance later Magneto said that Amp would train them right? "Nah I need a break from him... I'll stick with you Warp."

Blink glared murderously at Shadow Walker briefly at the comment about her sticking with Warp. "I kind of rather speak with him privately..." she began quietly.
"So you can chew me out about not sticking up for you more and supporting you more or some crap like that?" Warp laughed, cruelly. He turned and added, obviously annoyed, "You can't monopolize me when you feel like it or it works conveniently for you."
Blink rolled her eyes and said, "Fine, well, I have moving to do anyways. Forget about it." At that she disappeared in a snap.
Warp sighed as she disappeared and he said with a bemused smile as he made the door to Amp's apartment able to be phased through, "Anyways, how are you holding up, Shadow Walker? Finally got to meet Magneto, eh? And you made a good impression on him. That's great."

my name is Shadow Walker "Yeah just looking at him can be quite intimidating." she rubbed her head a little. "Funny thing was all it took was the right shadow to come out of and a fire extinguisher. Y'know I think I'm beginning to get a real understanding of the teleporting part. I even let myself sink all the way and found my way out. There were lighted areas from the shadows above. Just the shadow manipulation on the other hand, I'm not sure where to begin with that."

"Yeah, well, Amp tends to underestimate people at times, or at least girls," Warp sighed. "That is what happened with my sister. He didn't listen and thought he could take her on in a fight. Some people's powers don't play fair."
"It's good that you are getting used to your power, though," Warp continued. "People get used to it at different rates, it seems. Some get the hang of it right away, but usually they don't have powers that are that powerful. Most of us spend ages working on honing our skills if we want to be any good. Your power is like another muscle: you can use it or you can push it to really accomplish great things like some great athlete or something."
He shrugged with a smile, "I would guess that your shadow manipulation might be something that you have to imagine it and flex your imagination, treat your imagination sort of like a muscle. That is how I use my power, at least, which is the greatest version of physical manipulation. The world is my canvas, yours is shadows, I suppose. Does that even make sense?" He laughed at the end. He was so used to using his power he barely thought about it, which might make him lazy he supposed.

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker walked through the door and into the hall since Warp was kind enough to open the door for her. She noticed there were was a lot of shadows she could work with in the hall. "The shadow is my canvas huh?" she gave it a little more thought. She held up her hand toward a dark corner in the ceiling. Her eyes closed for a moment coming up with an idea. She focused until her head hurt again she seemed to try to force something out but it didn't seem to work. She rubbed her head a little "I think I'm doing something wrong..."

Warp frowned as he sealed the door again and said, "Maybe you are over-thinking it? I'm not the best with art analogies: I'm not an artist so maybe I'm wrong. Of course you could joke what I do with my power is an art form. I reject reality, after all." He joked.
Growing more serious he said, "My ability to shape reality came from panic, maybe your power is activated initially from a panic response. I won't try to invoke panic in you to help you, because that is not my style but that is one of my suggestions."
"For homo-superiors, our powers are as natural to us as breathing, or at least that is what I would like to think. You don't have to think that hard to breath right, correct? Maybe using your power to manipulate shadows is the same way," Warp said with a shrug.

my name is Shadow Walker "Like breathing eh?" she decides to try it again. This time with a little less concentration. Sort of letting her idea come out of the shadow instead of simply forcing it. A plant made from shadow sprouted from the darkness. She smiled a little and yet she wondered, "How can I weaponize this?" thorns stuck out of the plant. "How do I use it in a fight?"

Warp smiled at her progression and happy that he was able to explain the situation in a way that she could understand. Curious he reached out for the thorn and pricked his finger and pulled back slowly, glancing at his finger with a steady frown. "Oh, I'm sure you can think of plenty of ways to weaponize your power," he said holding out his hand. "Your shadows have substance which makes them quite useful. More useful than just illusions, though, shadow monsters without substance would have had uses as well."
He created a force field around his finger and healed his pricked finger in seconds and added, "You seem smart enough, I'm sure you can figure something out. I don't like to talk tactics with people: it gives me a headache. I suppose that makes me a bad leader of the Brotherhood. I just have too many details to worry about without having to walk someone through training too, and knowing Blink I'll be stuck training her."
He shook her head, "And she gives me enough headaches as is. And considering the fact that Magneto basically banned her from dating for a while she is going to be a pain in the neck for me for a while..." He smiled, "but you don't care about my love life, do you? Is there any specific way I can help you with your power or even some training in martial arts, of course, I'm no Amp, but I am pretty decent."

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker raised her brow as Warp showed that he had pricked his finger on a thorn of the plant. She had thought for sure that shadow manipulation would be just illusions and nothing more. She frowned as he explained that Blink was going to be more of a head ache for him. When Magneto said to drop her responsibilities she didn't think it would include that as well. He asked the question about training her with martial arts. The shadow plant dispersed as she decided to let go of her concentration. " I wouldn't mind starting with you any martial combat would be vital. Even more so now that we know that Amp can simply remove our gifts."

"Yeah, and the practice would be good for me," Warp said. "Amp is such a headache now that he's got that other ability- the ability to drain other homo-superior's power. That was probably one of the reasons Magneto wants me partially responsible for training because if and when I encounter someone like Amp I'm not that useful. I rely on my power too much. But can you blame me? When you're God in your force fields why lower yourself to practicing other things?"
He smiled and led the way to the elevator, "We can train down stairs in the gym: it should be free as it is for Brotherhood members only and most of the other Brotherhood members prefer to train where they can be admired by others. We are the big men on campus- and women, I suppose, considering you are one of us now."
"I can also teach you armory use or knife throwing if you prefer that," Warp continued. "I actually am better at knife, dart, and star throwing than martial arts or at least I am in comparison to Amp. But that was probably because I practiced that more for my show when I was in the circus before Magneto found me and brought me here. This isn't very cool of me to admit, but truth be told I'm not all that athletically inclined by nature, and I don't have a power that gives me increased physical strength or flexibility or anything like many homo-superiors do. To get anywhere in a physical fight I have to train purely on hard work and I don't like doing something that I'm not naturally good at."
He shrugged, "Probably why I focus on using my powers in a fight. And, Amp goes and takes that away..." He muttered a few curses at Amp (and an extra one or two at his sister for influencing Amp with her power) under his breath as he pressed the button to the elevator. It really irked him that despite being one of the most powerful homo-superiors in Genosha he lost to Amp purely because of a hostage and the fact his power was drained: it was pathetic and Warp expected better of himself.

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker followed Warp into the elevator. Based on what Warp had told her about the other members of the Brotherhood, not only are they terrible guests but they seem to have big egos if they wanted to show off to all of Genosha to see. It would be hard to be accepted among the other members considering how unintimidating she was. A young girl from high school up against these men who like to flaunt their perfection? She smiled as Warp pointed out that she was now part of the Brotherhood. That smile faded when she realized that this was because Magneto said so right? She still wanted Warp's approval but perhaps if he let her go on a mission would count. "I think knife throwing would be a good way to start, especially if it's something I could do from the shadows. Actually I may be able to use shadow manipulation to create the knives I throw. But I think I'd start off learning it without the fancy stuff first." she was starting to look forward to learn some martial art. But butterflies returned as the elevator slowed down and opened. She rubbed her arm a little and continued holding her arm as she followed Warp out of the elevator.

The floor opened to a large workout facility in the basement. It had the usual weight lifting equipment and treadmills, but there was also a target range and several throwing knives set up, along with various other weapons. "That's good: I always preferred knife throwing," he said with a smile. "Of course, you might have guessed that from this morning with me and Blink. Usually I hit my target, but the truth is I make sure she can dodge my attacks."
He picked up a few throwing knives and barely glancing at the target tossed a knife- piercing the target perfectly through the center. "You want to try with the real thing right off? We can start you on darts to work on your aim if you would rather... I actually learned by playing darts with the girl who was the knife thrower at the circus. She took pity on me and let me be her target and helped me work out my act later on. It was an upgrade from my first job with the elephants."
He handed her a knife, "Anyhow, enough about my crappy first job after I left home. It is up to you if you want to start with these or darts- there is a slight difference after all. I trust you enough to let you start with the real thing. Just be careful, the blade is sharp, of course. If you want to go on missions soon we should just jump right into training, after all."
