Dhyl flew down to land by Arianna. "Nice try, Arianna. You did good. You too, Sam. Remy." he said pleasantly, pretending to choke and cough when he said Remy's name. He was never going to let her live down the fact that they had to stop the game for her. That would teach her to watch her mouth.

Ariana gave a weak smile towards Dhylan. "Thanks, you too." However, her smile faded when she realized that the Hufflepuff boy made fun of Remy for having asthma, and it turned into a frown. The seeker didn't know whether she should say anything to him or not, and if it got out of hand, she knew he'd be dealt with. Would the house lose points because of it, though? Probably. Instead of saying anything to him, she let out a silent sigh.

Remy coughed quietly and turned her face away as her cheeks turned a soft red. She sniffled slightly, tears beginning to fill her eyes. It wasn't her fault she lost her inhaler... She was so sure she'd packed it too! I hope I find it soon... If mum and dad find out I lost another inhaler, they'll send a howler! Aww man... she thought, crying a bit more at the thought of disappointing her parents. She hated to cost them any money, and inhalers were expensive...

Through the goggles, Ariana didn't realize Remy was crying. The Gryffindor girl just stood silently instead of bad mouthing, and that's what made Ariana realize that perhaps Dhylan hurt Remy's feelings. "Good game everyone!" she exclaimed happily, trying to cheer everyone up.

Remy gently tugged her goggles off over her messy hair. She dug in her pocket for a moment before finding her specs. She wiped her eyes on her sleeve, then pushed them on. She blinked quickly to remove the blur, then tugged her long hair free of its ponytail. "Thanks, Ariana. You did awesome too." she nearly whispered, trying to keep from crying. She knew if she cried too hard, she would start coughing, and that usually triggered her attacks. She had to be extra careful until she found the inhaler again...

Heather was ready to try again when she heard a sound. A horrible sound that crushed her hopes. "I caught the snitch!" a boy yelled. She figured it was Sam. Oh no... she thought as she lowered her bat. The game was over. Gryffindor won 190 to 10. The girl sighed, but knew this was no time to be upset. Good players are good sports, so she flew around to every player of the team in turn. Colton. Gryffindor captain. Beater. As she approached him, she trembled just a little. He was much larger and frankly quite scarier than she was. It made him a great beater. "Good game. That was a wicked save you made earlier. I hope I can be as good as you one day." she said with a tiny smile. Hannah. First year Gryffindor beater. This girl was a newbie, but was promising from the looks of it. "You made some amazing shots today, Hannah. Even if some of them backfired a little. You have a great arm. And you're way tougher than me. Those bludgers bounced off you like you were made of rubber."/b] she said with a chuckle. Raiden. First year Gryffindor Keeper. Now, this girl was quick. She could play the position of chaser if she wanted to. "Those were some awesome saves you made today. I hope I get to play against you in the future." she said with a small nod. Jayden. The chaser who raced alongside Remy to help hold their victory. He was Devin's brother, so she wasn't sure how her captain would react to the loss. "You're a fast flyer, Jayden. I couldn't hit you once with a bludger. Maybe I'll see ya around." she said calmly. Devin. Hufflepuff captain. Lead chaser, is the title she would give him. "I feel like I let you down, captain. I'll get better, and we'll win next time for sure." she said, looking down at first, but slowly raising her gaze to make eye contact. Jane. Her mentor, honestly, and also one of her idols. "Jane, those were some great hits you made. Even if you couldn't hit Remy cause of her motormouth, you were still awesome." she said, smiling. Kat. The newbie on her team. She had some troubles, but it didn't bother Heather. "Good job today, Kat. You tried your hardest, and held your own out there." she said calmly. Steele. Fellow second year and the Hufflepuff keeper. She could tell he was beating himself up inside over the game. "Hey. Don't worry about it, Steele. We'll get 'em next time. I promise." she said to him, hoping to cheer him up. Lastly, she flew down to where Ariana, Dhylan, Sam, and Remy had gathered. Ariana was a great seeker, no doubt. Today, Sam was just a little better, that's all. Dhylan and Remy were both amazing chasers and fast flyers too. All her friends were amazing at what they did. "Great job today, Ariana. And congratulations on winning the game, Sam. Dhyl, you made Hufflepuff proud today. I saw that score you made, and that was, in a word, wicked." she said to them each in turn. Then she got to Remy. Her sister. Her best friend. Her opponent no longer. "You were amazing up there, Rem. Mum and Da would be proud. I would hug you or something right now, but I kinda got hit with a bludger while I was up there, and I may have broken a few ribs... So if you guys are going to the Hospital Wing, can I tag along?" she said, rubbing her right side gingerly. It hurt a lot, especially if she moved or even breathed. She would be alright, though. The nurse would fix her right up and send her on her merry way. Sure, Heather was upset that they lost the game and felt a little responsible for it, but she didn't show it. On the outside, she was just the same 'ole Heather.

Dhyl preened in Heather's complement. He felt pretty good, being the only Hufflepuff chaser to score."Aww, thanks, Heather! You did good too, even if you couldn't land a hit to Bleiddiaid's face!" he said with a cackle, hoping Remy did get knocked from the air soon.

Cinq Moreau Ghoul and Ghost Studies Professor Flying Instructor Temporary Quidditch Referee Former Hufflepuff
╔════════════════════════════════════╗ A clean game. The first game of the season ended without much injury or drama, except for the beginning when Katrina almost fell off of her broom. He was about to go help her when one of her teammates saved her from a potential fall.
Cinq smiled when Samuel caught the snitch. That Gryffindor... He knew Samuel would become a talented quidditch player, judging from his skills in the first year Flying class. "190 to 10. Gryffindor wins!" Cinq yelled at the top of his lungs as he flew down to the ground. And thus concluded the first match, Hufflepuff against Gryffindor.

яεgrετ┃яσι ηστнιηg♦ғεαя┃яσι ησ σηε♦ταkε prιdε ιη┃яσι εvεяyτнιηg A light layer of sweat had built up on the beater's forehead as he continued to zip and zag in between player after player—some of them his own teammates, the others his opponents. Just as Colton had stretched out the arm that held his beater's bat, quickly nearing own of the elusive bludgers, a loud shriek of excitement had the boy spinning in the air to find its source.
"No way!"Colt blurted under his breath, a smile breaking through his serious facade. Sam had tumbled to the ground in gruesome crash landing, but as he rolled to his feet again, a glitter of gold shone brightly in his right hand, which was now held up proudly into the air."Attaboy, Samuel! Woo! I knew we could do this!"The Gryffindor captain exclaimed in pure excitement and sheer joy as he descended towards the ground.
He landed gracefully. Throwing his right leg off of the broom, he came to a standing stance, his smile still glowing on his face. He immediately moved over to Samuel and threw his arm around his shoulder."I guess that catch during try-outs wasn't just luck, now was it?"he half teased, half complimented."Thanks for the win, Sam. I'm glad I made the right choice in making you our new seeker. Oh—are you alright? You took a pretty gnarly tumble back there..."Colton's voice instantly jumped from thrilled to worried as he gave the boy a once over. He appeared to be in pain, but his Gryffindor heart wouldn't let him admit to that too readily.
Glancing over his shoulder, he spotted the rest of his team. With a loud, piercing whistle, he called them all over for an end-of-game huddle. When they were all gathered in the center of the pitch, he cleared his throat and began to congratulate them formally."Great game, Gryffindors! The cup is ours for sure this year! Raiden, you made some awesome stops up there! And Hannah—where would I be without you and those amazing bludger blocks, eh? By the way, you should probably get your arm and stomach checked out by the nurse. Those were some pretty nasty hits you took... Remy, Jayden, Daisy—stunning work, you three! Let's keep those flawless passes and that unstoppable scoring coming during our next games! And lastly, we owe a majority of our win today to Gryffindor's newest, and perhapes best seeker—the lovely Sam Meridith!"Colton cheered, clapping furiously for not just Sam, but for the effort given by his entire team."Alright, guys! Let's head in! A few of you need to make a stop at the hospital wing, but last time I checked, we've got a party to throw in the common room! Go Gryffindor!"
Colt couldn't believe the joy he felt right now. The last time he felt such happiness was surely before his body had been invaded by the spirit of Roi Antiguo. It was undoubtedly the moment that Phi had granted him permission to call her his girlfriend, but that moment had been immediately interrupted by the loss of his control, which, as he thought about it now, would surely be reoccurring soon enough. He had never gotten so lucky to have his body to himself for such a long period of time, at least not without those nagging comments and the malevolent laughter ceaselessly piercing his ears from the inside. Nevertheless, Colton would enjoy the privacy while it lasted, though he had to admit that it worried him to think about what Roi was planning.
Shrugging off the pointless worries, Colt trotted off the field with his broom in hand, his destination the Gryffindor Common Room, and his smile still intact. Before he made it off the pitch, however, he sought out Jayden's older brother and gave him a friendly pat on the back."I wanted to thank you for offering Remy your inhaler. You very possibly saved the game for us,"he told him sincerely, looking gravely into the boy's eyes before switching his tone back to a more bubbly one."And...I suppose your team played rather well."Colt laughed heartily at his playful teasing, then slugged Devin softly on the arm."Good game, Devin. You make a great captain."Colton complimented the chaser with genuine words, then continued on his way towards the castle. нσω dσ yσu ғιgнτ α ωαя ғяσм вστн sιdεs┃ωнεn σηℓy σηε cαη ωιη?

Remy listened, but really didn't pay attention, to Colton's words. She kept shooting glances between Sam and Heather, making sure the two were feeling alright. She coughed lightly again, a small burn in her lungs. She really wasn't feeling up to party today, even though she was normally hyped by the thought. She sat on the ground after Colton walked off, and she fiddled with the grass, not knowing what else to do. She knew she would have to thank Devin, but she didn't want to search for him in the throng of Hufflepuff students.

Just as Remy did, Ariana pulled off her goggles which left red marks around her eyes. Hey eyes felt irritated, so the girl rubbed each one. Hearing the quiet whisper, Ariana gave the Gryffindor chaser a smile. At that moment, a blonde Hufflepuff swooped down and landed next to her. "Thanks, you too," she said to Heather with barely any emotion in the ton of her voice. When the girl asked to go to the Hospital Wing with the gang, Ariana dropped her jaw slightly. Why was she surprised that several people were injured? This happened to a couple people each game. Ariana turned her head to Dhylan as he tried getting on Remy's nerves. "Dhylan, stop," she pleaded quietly with a frown. A few seconds later, Hannah dived down and landed next to them. "Yeah, good game," she said, trying to be cheery. When the Gryffindor captain told everyone they were throwing a party in the Gryffindor common room, the Hufflepuff seeker let out a small sigh. No one was going to party in the Hufflepuff common room after today's game. They lost 10 - 190!

Jane was about to hit another bludger away when she suddenly heard someone shout. Her face dropped slightly but yet was relieved when she realized what had happened. The game was over, Gryffindor had won. Jane quickly took her broom down and landed gracefully with a slight step. As she touched on the ground her anger at any players and realized how silly it had been. Her team obviously needed some positive encouragement and Jane was just the girl to offer that. "Good games to both teams" She said with a smile, letting her hair down. She looked around at everyone, keeping mostly silent for a moment. A smile appeared on her face. "Well thank you I appreciate" Jane replied with a smile. "You are right about that though, for such a little girl she has quite the mouth" Jane said with a wink and a smile. "Hope she's not that bad at home" She added before the girl left. She scanned the crowd of players and spotted Ariana. Jane immediately knew the girl was upset. She walked towards the girl and threw her arm around her. "That was a great game Ariana" Jane said with a large smile. "I'll tell you, you did ten million times better then I ever could have. I'm honestly just amazed you could even spot let alone get so close to catching it." She said hoping to reassure the girl. Everything that Jane said was completely true. Never could she be a seeker. Then she addressed the rest of the team. "I think we need a party for a job well done, though nothing to serious because I don't know about the rest of you but qudditch makes me bloody sore" She said rubbing her neck. Jane really did hurt, all over, and wasn't exactly in the mood to much other then sleep but the team really did need something to help lighten their spirits.

Remy looked up as Jane walked over. She felt bad, and she needed to let some pressure off. "J-Jane, I want to apologize for my behavior. I let the competition get the better of me, and I'm sorry." she said, still at a near whisper. She hated having people mad at her, and she always regretted her harsh words. She played with a stray lock of hair as she looked nervously at the fourth year.

Jane looked up, the surprise on her face dissipating almost instantly and turning into a smile. "Hey think nothing of it!" She said. "I have been in plenty of quidditch games in my day and believe me, that was nothing." She said. "Just try playing with Slytherin" She had slyly. "But maybe next time, cool your jets a little" She said in a quieter voice. Then laughed. "Good job to you" She added with another smile.
