Once Arc left, Jake waited for the weird feeling to fade before hesitantly climbing onto the bed. He then curled up under the covers, trying to get over what had just happened. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he had felt pleasure from the unwanted experience, and it scared him.

What was he going to do with a suicidal boy who kept on irritating him? His father made sure there were no loop holes in the contract and since Arc inherited Jake, the contract still goes on. "Damn." He kicked the fence. "Why did I even follow him to the hospital anyways?" The poor defenseless fence received another blow. "He's just a mere servant!" Again, the fence was kicked. "And like all the employee's, I go and stay with them in the hospital for a few hours."
Arc was starting to deeply wished that his father had bargained for one of Jake's many sisters' instead.

Jake began wondering why Arc bothered to stay in the hospital with him. But despite the question, the servant was a bit glad. At least someone he knew was there, though Arc wasn't exactly the person Jake wanted to see visiting him in a hospital.

For the next few day's, Arc didn't bother to come see Jake. Work and school kept him busy. If he ever thought about Jake, he dismissed it. His mind needed to be where he was at that time.

During those days, Jake was incredibly bored. No one except nurses and doctors, and sometimes his classmates, walked into the room. Even his family didn't visit, and he began to wonder if they remembered him at all.

When Jake came back to the manor, Arc didn't give him a warm welcome like the others did. He wasn't too pleased with him. The boy just added more onto his debt with that trip to the hospital and consulting services. Arc just ignored him for a few weeks.

Jake was saddened when Arc refused to acknowledge him. As relieved as the servant was to not worry about annoying the man, he eventually wished that he could be anything but invisible to Arc. This was almost exactly like when they had been children, except the Master was not there comfort Jake.

Their was a holiday coming up and no school, no work, only a few convince stores were open along with amusement parks. Arc swore to himself that he was going to be bored.

Because of the holiday coming up, Jake's school was going to close for the duration of the celebration. The servant hoped then that he would have more time to at least be noticed by Arc. Surely there must be something he could do to try to make the man hate him less.

He could send Jake home to his family but there was no way to reveal their new location. His mother asked that of him to keep it a secret. All he could do was find a way to mix the new flavor of power water to the stuff that goes in it.

Jake took his time in returning home, letting his mind wander. His thoughts soon rested on his family and where they could possibly be. Why would they leave without looking back? Did they think of him at all?

Arc played with a marble that sat in a display on his desk. He was indeed bored. There was nothing to do and it seemed like an eternity. He closed his eyes with a sigh, stood and went to his room to pack a suitcase. At least, he could say that it was a business trip when he would actually go to a resort. He packed his swim trunks first and covered them with his sleeping cloths.

By the time Jake returned to the mansion, it had already been an hour since he left the school. Since Arc wasn't going to acknowledge his existence, he might as well try to take advantage of it. One of his ways of doing so was to take his time in returning to the mansion, since there most likely was no time limit.

Arc checked if he had everything, including toothbrush and toothpaste. Then threw on his coat, zipped up his suitcase and trumped down the stairs. He had called his privet Cessna pilot earlier about him going to his families resort. The maids assembled into their lines, bidding him farewell and a safe trip.

Jake noticed that Arc was getting ready to leave, though to where, he didn't know. The servant was tempted to run up to the man and ask him where he was going, and possibly to request to go with him, but fear once again held him back. He could only wonder when Arc was going to return.
