KnightsRoyal Solarius flare Ummm...How many skills do I start out with when I am making a character? You start out with all of your skills learned. As a novice, you start off with all skills up to C rank for your class, bloodlines, weapons, etc. BUT, you can only have 2 B-RANK skills OVERALL. Which means only One b-rank class skill and then one b-rank weapon skill, or 2 B-rank class skills only, etc. Not mad btw lol. But yeah, All skills up to C rank, and two B-rank skills for your dude. OK! Thank you so much, this really helped!

Taking into consideration the new rules on gaining ranks, will this invalidate the rule against characters unaffiliated with a city/nation being able to gain ranks? And going further if that's the case to the current learning system being based apparently entirely on autolearns, would it be possible to start a character outside of the nations and basically live as a hermit? If it is that'd be amazing for my character's design.
Also on a similar note, how does one go about getting a custom/personal home thread, or is that something you do here anymore?

World Events and Arc events don't always involve a nation. The god Kaminae was a world event that affected many but only 3 people took part in it, two from different nations and one who was unaffiliated with anyone but herself. You don't have to be a part of a bigger group, though it is helpful when it comes to having allies I am sure you know. Anyways, you can still very easily level outside of an army since it comes down to development on your own character on top of events and arcs and what not. If you wanted to be a hermit I'd say go for it.
For personal threads you just make them, there aren't any rules for that. If you are following the currency system to try and make money then you'd just have to generate gold for it. Though since you want to live as a hermit I don't really see you doing that razz

Oh I'm gonna make money, my character just has no interest in religion and politics, and those seem to be the focus of the existing cities. Honestly I'd rather enjoy having him start in his own sorta isolated area and develop his own "Nation" that just gives no shits.

Makako-ma can a character have multiple talents as long as they aren't massively impactful or combo too hard with anything? The character may only have one talent, BUT that does not mean that the talent can only give you one thing. You gain as much as you sacrifice with talents.

Hm, sacrifice one thing, gain another? Much like a 1:1 ratio or it varies?

Makako-ma wat does the skirmish label mean and where do the elves actually live lol. Doesn't seem to be any civilization in kranila xp Don't worry about the label. It's old, it was just their way of marking where battles were taking place during a raid. The Elves' control over Kranila ended sometime before the 9th century began, which marked the start of the official roleplay. Currently, their culture is shattered, and they live spread out in the city. Kranila is semi active, though all of the activity is in Nocturne at the moment with the god raid coming up.You are welcome to come to Nocturne, though the area is a bit dangerous at the moment, though the welcome party is awesome. Trust me. The former king there is great, from what I hear.

Kagetsukiko So... No more guns with these updated classes? Weapon masters can use any weapons, but siege master is the dedicated ranged class.
