I watch as the stones head toward Kirino and cover my mouth with my hands in shock and worry, my eyes widen as I speak softly. "Oh God, please keep her safe...."

I flip my sword again, but rather then plunging it into the ground, I focus energy into the blade itself. There's a way for those to "land" and get victory without her being hit, isn't there? I don't want to harm her if I don't have to... I think to Mashai'i. It might be a duel, but there's never honor in bearing excessive force against your own team...

Kirino heard Jima'ei yell at her to duck, but she stood her ground. Always defiant, she tried to focus her power again, wanting to take out the other two giant stones hurtling to her. She knew she didn't have much time, so she concentrated, hoping for the best.

Amadahy: The Water Legion noble looks at you. "You, too, eh?" she mutters. "Not a good sign..."
Moriah: Without responding, Mashai'i jumps in front of the chunks and hits them with different limbs. They shatter.
Kirino: Before you can charge enough power, the chucks suddenly shatter.
Everyone: The nobles look at Moriah, quite stunned at her performance. "Well, then," the Earth Legion noble says. "I am quite proud!" "What happened?" the Sky Legion noble asks. "She didn't destroy the last two! What happened to them?"

"I asked Mashai'i to destroy them. I didn't want my teammate to be injured over a training run." I say as I turn around and dispel mhy meager chared energy. I then turn to Kirino and give her a somewhat deep bow. "You are a valiant warrior indeed. You faced the remaining danger unflinchingly. It would be an honor to fight at your side as an ally." I say to her in a respectful tone.

Kirino wasn't exactly sure how to respond to the girl, "I do not fear death. That's the one thing my parents taught me before they were killed, that death is natural. I don't try to put myself in dangerous situations, but if I find myself in the middle of one I will fight to death." She looks over at Jima'ei, "I'm sorry for not listening to you, but it felt wrong not to stand my ground..."

Since I am still sitting, I look up at the Water Legion with a curious expression. "Excuse me...?"

Moriah: Mashai'i is smiling. "They like your honorable actions," he says.
Kirino: Jima'ei stands up shakily. "Oh, y-yes," he says. "Of course...don't mind cowardly old me."
Amadahy: "Religious," the Water Legion noble says. "Surely you know that religion is frowned upon? Do not forget the Night Eternal."
Everyone: "All right!" the Flame Legion noble says. "Blue and Indigo!"

As I hear my color called, I hop to my feet, using my wings to help me. Before I begin walking to one of the designated circles, I turn to the Legion with a somewhat serious expression, but still with a polite smile. "I surely have not forgotten. I simply see the event differently than most." My smile grows as I turn and flutter over to one of the spots, landing in the circle. "Shall we get started?" I say pleasantly out loud to anyone really.

I quickly sheath my sword and walk back slowly, walking in the direction of the nobles' voices. I try to keep an ear open fo Maxwell's voice, as he seems to be my guide, and although he was a bit coarse to me at first, he seems to be a much different person when he's more comfortable. Sometimes, I guess it does pay to have a bit of honor! But, no, I also didn't want Kirino or the others to be afraid of me either, and that I really do care about them. A warrior's blade will forever hold the taint of trechery, after all...

Kirino walked back over to the others, slightly shaken. That had been close, she needed to learn not to be so stubborn. It dawned on her that that was one f the first times she'd spoken to someone other than Jima'ei. She hoped some of the others would try to talk to her. She was too nervous to start up a conversation on her own. She smiled at Jima'ei, "Don't worry, you were just following your instincts. You're clearly much smarter than I am..

As Maxwell saw that Moriah was wondering around, he said to her "Over here." Maxwell walked a little closer to her, but still staying on the sidelines.

I hear Maxwell's voice and walk over to the best I can figure his location. "Thank you..." I say.

Marco hears Indigo, he looks down at his ring and smiles as he runs over to the ring. Then he sees the girl who was so nice to him, and his eyes widened. He turned to the nobles,
"I don't wanna fight her! She's too nice! Pick someone else please" He said, he sounded worried about her. Which he was, he didn't know what the ring could do and he didn't want to accidently harm her.

Amadahy: The noble just shakes her head.
Kirino: Jima'ei smiles.
Marco: "Fight her or walk away in disgrace," the Flame Legion noble says.
