RPC Name: William May

Bloodline being applied for: Vampire

Give me some strengths and weaknesses from the bloodline: Extra stats (+2). Can get boosted stats off of drinking certain bloods, can lose strength off of other bloods, their immortal, and they have a weakness to water, holy crud, and silver. They have regenerative capabilities.

RP Sample (Be sure to include said strengths and weaknesses in your sample):

May was walking through the street one day. A small gang of human radicalists had moved into an alley in Dragoslavele and needed to be dealt with. May took it somewhat personal, because he wasn't quite human himself. He perched himself on a rood above the alley where they were supposedly hiding out. He could see a couple guys, but he knew there had to be more. He used Yokai Detection, sending out a pulse, discovering several more people in the windows of the building he was standing on, as well as in the building across from him. He shrugged, it wouldn't be much of a challenge. Using vampire shadow, he deployed a clone into the building across the way to clear it out, as he cleared the building he was on out. With use of Red Mist, he blotted out visibility, making things that much easier. Hanging from the edge of the roof, he entered through a window. His first victim had his back to the wall, and so with a quick snap, May took his head off. Moving on, he proceeded into the building, finding weirder things as he went. It was almost cult like. As he went further, he realized there were no people where he'd felt. When he got to the bottom floor, he found a trap door. Following the trap door into the basement, he found himself in a puddle of water. He could feel the strength fade from his body. He proceeded, even if it felt like a trap. After turning a corner, he found an alter, surrounded by blood. Sacrificing? He thought to himself. On the idol was a silver cross. A shiny silver cross. He couldn't resist. He walked to it like a moth to the fire, and picked it up. Suddenly, more of his strength was gone in a flash. "Real silver." He said to himself. "Holy too." He put it into his messenger bag, and part of his strength came back to him. There was no one here. And for a second, he felt something behind him. Something familiar, and without thinking side stepped to the right, and with that came a swift, but powerful roundhouse into nothingness. Not a thing. He got the willies. With that, he climbed back out of the basement, shutting the door. He walked out of the house only to remember the man he killed upstairs. He bolted back up only to find the room empty. The corpse was gone. Shaking his head, he left, and put a condemnation tag on the door of the building. He'd make sure it was destroyed.

RPC Name: Linara Aurel

Bloodline being applied for: Kinaru

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Curiosity makes them fast learners while also opening up to the possibility, if not probability, of them being distracted by the more simple things in life unless completely focused on the task at hand. Their senses are highly increased, such as sense, but they are also vulnerable to the charm of music; they get random mood swings once in a blue moon or quickly switch emotions. She hates water, and uses nothing but her claws to fight.

Bloodline being applied for: Nightmare

Give me some strengths and weaknesses from the bloodline:
They react to things faster, and they are stronger.
But when they become fearful of something they loose power, and they can't be summoners.

RP Sample:
A large, and clearly evil smile grew across the face of the nightmarish male who stood there. A spade upon his face as he simply looked about. He chuckled a bit, he was surrounded by multiple people, along with these disgusting things they called summons. "No Matter, I'll destroy you all anyways." He said, laughing, he didn't need a summon in order to fight against all of these things. They began to come near him, as he stood there, a lot of them quite literally slowed down from pressure he had simply been releasing without his own usual will. Others became paranoid, afraid to even attack, and what few did attack would be soon covered, as he took a deep breath, and when releasing the breath would let out a thick black fog around the area. Holding his hands out and generating solid masses of fear and energy he would chuckle to himself. "Destroy was such a harsh word, I'd rather make you miserable." He said, maniacally laughing to some extent, and throwing the balls of fear and energy around randomly. Hitting what he could, and causing high amounts of paranoia between them. The smoke died down, and the male's face no longer had it's smile, there was no longer laughter. He looked quite bored in fact. He simply walked away.

Strengths- I will have a weapon on me until I die, since my exodus is an intrinsic part of my existence. Also if I kill someone with my exodus I have the ability to learn their memories and knowledge.

Weaknesses- I can only use my exodus weapon and no other. If the “core” of my exodus is broken then both my exodus and I die. In addition my energy reserve is permanently reduced by 20%.

“It is best to let sleeping dragons lie.”

I groaned internally the minute I realized that this drunken b*****d would not be leaving me alone this evening unless I started pushing him toward that decision. If only he hadn’t literally stumbled into me upon entering the pub. The oaf had then managed to notice my existence which shocked the people closest to us since they hadn’t noticed me at all. Standing up from my seat near the corner I brushed imaginary crumbs off my extremely boring “blend in” clothes and in the process managed to get his sausage fingers off my bottom. “I’m sorry sir, but I need to be getting home to my husband now. I’m sure your wife is waiting for you as well. Goodnight!” I managed to grit out the falsely clueless and cheery words, although I wasn’t entirely certain that my cheek wasn't bleeding from the effort.

Walking toward the door at a brisk pace I concentrated on fighting the urge to slip my hands to my neck where the comforting weight of Peirce rested, currently disguised as my simple necklace. His familiar and normally comforting voice growled through my mind although his words were far from comforting “C’mon fire Gecko, damn it! You really aren’t going to let this pervert go are you? The man is an a** and he is causing you to get too much attention. He will blow our cover by blabbing about the beautiful new redhead in town if you let him go. You know how this has to end. I always protect US Princess, not swine like him.” His words were probably correct, and I already struggled hard against the urge to fight, to kill, to feel. The urge to fight was never far from the surface in me and it didn’t help that giving in to that urge felt extremely satisfying. The fact that I was a monster was an inescapable fact, but perhaps this oaf’s didn’t have to die, perhaps he was harmless and would just let my presence remain a random occurrence, easily forgotten.

After leaving the pub, I walked so fast I was most likely jogging, until I ran smack into the same oaf in the alley next to the bar. Imagine my disappointment when I noticed that he was neither drunk, nor alone, nor unarmed. The urge to fight roared over me and I could feel Peirce’s excitement as I pulled him from my neck and gripped him tight, as he morphed into his true form. This left me holding a sleek and wickedly sharp 8” curved dagger, hidden up my sleeve. Since there were now two opponents I cursed my ineptitude at long range use of Peirce. When the man started rambling threats about how I would enjoy his “hospitality” and he would enjoy introducing me to the local authorities, I struck. It was quick and it was silent as I cleanly sliced a six inch gouge directly along his clavicle. In the moment it took him to notice the injury I had Peirce stabbing up between his ribs and directly into his heart. While Peirce consumed the oaf’s soul, I was breathing heavily and falling into a defensive stance.

His friend stared at me as though evil incarnate had just appeared before him. This man had balls however and rushed at me despite the fear I could read on his face. The b*****d pinned me to the wall and smashed the hand holding Peirce into the wall. A sliver of fear wormed it’s way through me, I could only pray that he didn’t know what I truly was. Attempting to disarm me was one thing, attempting to smash Peirce’s core was another matter entirely. The man had only caused a small portion of my blade to chip and Peirce easily repaired that even as I watched. Satisfied this idiot was not aware of how to kill me easily I began struggling in his hold.

Using my free hand I threw sand from my pocket into his face and eyes and brought my knee up solidly into his groin. As he cursed me he loosened his hold on me and I worked myself free. After brushing the sand out of his eyes and seeing me ready to continue, he seemed to lose his nerve and scampered off into the night. This was fortunate because I could already feel my energy and the urge to fight waning.

As I walked back up the alley Peirce, now well sated and happy, crooned in my head… “The cheating swine deserved it. I am positive his wife would thank you if she could Princess.” For the second time in one night, his words did little to reassure me. I took a minute to calm myself and mask my energy. When I set off again slowly to track down the oaf’s accomplice my steps were all but silent and I was like a shadow, winding my way through the alleys. My reasons were still valid even as I hated them. No one still breathing could know that I had been in this godforsaken place tonight.

Sometimes being a monster sucked.

Sucker Punch D-rank
If in close enough proximity, the Scoundrel may quickly draw their weapon and get in an early cheap shot. An uncanny dodge may not be used to dodge Sucker Punch unless the dodgee is at least +3 faster than the Scoundrel. This attack may only be used to start combat and may not be used during a fight.

Double Strike D-rank
Using your incredible speed, you are able to sneak in an extra attack in the time it takes to do one. You get 1 extra attack in addition to your normal allowance for the turn Double strike is used. [5 post CD]

Pocket Sand E-rank
They call you a scoundrel for a reason; you don't exactly play fair. Whether it be dirt from the ground or actual pocket sand, you throw debris in your opponents eyes, blinding them for their next post. [5 post CD]

Stealth passive
As long as a Scoundrel remains out of sight, they are nearly undetectable. You have muffled steps to quiet your movement, but that's not your greatest asset. All Scoundrels have an ability to mask their energy to match their natural surroundings, making them completely invisible to anything except sight and smell. Stealth may only be activated when the Scoundrel is out of direct line of sight of all surrounding people and may not be used in combat. Any attacks made by the Scoundrel break Stealth.

RPC Name: Coyote

Bloodline being applied for: Seer

Give me some strengths and weaknesses from the bloodline:
She is very in-tune with the mind; she can see the future, track down someone in all of Rykros, and can read minds. She sees energy and has an increase of 1.25 in her energy pool.

Since she only sees in energy, fast moving opponents can essentially blind her by moving quickly. Also, if the opponent has under 100 energy, she cannot see them. She is also only allowed to use one close combat and one physical style. Because of her nature as a seer, she cannot be a Beserker or Warrior. If someone she is reading has "forgotten" something, it costs an extra rank cost to find. If an opponent is using a weapon that is not energy based, she cannot see it. Being a seer offers no offensive skills.

RP Sample (Be sure to include said strengths and weaknesses in your sample):
Coyote gazed blankly at nothing, or at least it seemed like nothing to her. The dusty, windy desert offered no sense of anyone, but it hardly bothered her. She stepped forward with bare feet, enjoying the warmth the sand offered, as she journeyed with no particular goal in mind. Wandering helped her focus and to be away from the constant dull, repetitive thoughts of her peers was definitely a bonus. In the Devil's Eye, all was calm, all was right; that was true until the growing fuzzy outline of an aura of energy began to materialize in front of her. Coyote paused once and tilted her head, the beads that dangled and decorated the loose shawl she wore brushing against her cheeks. Curious, I have never seen this aura before, she mused quietly to herself, lightly placing her hand on the pouch that held her Tarot cards. Though they hardly seemed a threat, she focused herself and reached out with her Reading. Disconnected thoughts, mostly of determination and eagerness to reach their destination presented themselves in the Seer's mind. Nothing but a determined messenger, firmly grasping the message in one hand as he speedily ran by. His name is Farhalf Weatherblaze, a kakurenbo from Ernya, eagerly ready to rise in rank from Trainee as he delivered a message from the Devil's Eye ally. She felt him pause as he came in sight of her and she offered a smile. Coyote had no idea what his expression look liked, but a brief suspicious flashed in the boy's mind before he ignored her and carried on with his mission.

The Sorting Helmet

O.G. Vampire

PostPosted: Wed Mar 20, 2013 5:23 pm

RPC Name: Nokomis

Bloodline being applied for: Vampire ( Dark Avenger as well if possible )

Give me some strengths and weaknesses from the bloodline: One of the more obvious weaknesses is of course the sun, water and holy based weapons and abilities. Being submerged or in contact with water weakens their abilities as does the sun. Silver has an increased devastation upon a vampire as it can halt their regenerative factor. Vampires feed on blood and are naturally inhumanly strong, their skills range from a simple power enhanced punch or kick to bloody mists and using absorbed souls to achieve a "form" of sorts to enhance battle capability. Their inhuman senses are useful for dodging and anticipating attacks, making them able to combat many a foe.

RP Sample (Be sure to include said strengths and weaknesses in your sample):

The shadows lingered in the metal city, a prime hunting ground for one of the night and devoid of the light. Those who wandered out at night, sometimes never appeared the next day as they were taken by the hands of midnight. Nokomis stalked along the walls, keeping to the shadow as her next meal proceeded along casually. Echoes of a party emanated not too far off, indicating that this man was returning home from said event. Of all the fears in the Citadel, she was one of them. Yet the woman seldom killed her victims, too much of a mess to leave behind. But yet, sometimes her lust couldn't help it when feeding has been prolonged for so long.

Tonight was one of those nights.

In the Citadel, it was her favorite hunting ground. Plenty of prey and many hiding spots that a mere human could not reach. This one was oblivious to the danger lurking behind and Nokomis followed suit. Shadows appeared to have caress her body and she stepped out of the darkness. It shimmered and rippled like a pool of water as she followed the warm, lush scent the man produced. Entranced by the aroma, her lust grew every so slightly and her quieted steps quickened in response. Her emerald gaze settled upon his neck and her lush red hair bounced and billowed behind her as she approached.

The male was young, sandy colored hair and awfully pale skin the woman observed as she approached. Unlike a normal human, this male's scent was... intoxicating like a flower to a honey bee. She grew closer, becoming arrogant and more wrapped up in her need to feed, to sate her thirst. Thinking her target was oblivious, the vampire didn't see what had happened. Literally.

For what was thought to be an easy target, the male had been aware of the woman following him. With a twirl from his heel, the blue eyed man grabbed a hand full of dirt and sand, throwing it at his stalker's face in an effort to blind her as he drew a wickedly curved dagger. Years of living in the mechanical hell had taught much to the man, never trust a stranger.

"Who are you!?" He barked the order as the Vampire recoiled in pain as the sandy dust got caught in her eyes. Instinct had taken over as she leaped back two feet, hissing and rubbing at her eyes to clear away the debris. With no reply from the woman and evident that she wasn't human, the man rushed forward to strike with a downward swipe to the shoulder.

Nokomis worked quickly as her energy dispersed around her body, wrapping around in a thick dark red hue of magic. Her prey's blade did not find flesh, as it instead clashed head on. Steel on steel and speed against speed. The man she was about to hunt had a godly attractive smell, why had she been decieved by such a thing? Clashing each other's blades, the vampire's sword and the man's dagger, they circled one another despite the evil energy floating around the two. Each trying to get the upper hand with a series of feints, jabs and underhanded tricks with the mist before it began to disperse.

"You're no ordinary assailant, you're not human are you woman?" The man said as he clashed once again with the vampire's sword, she said nothing give a heavy and heard stare into his eyes.

"No" Nokomis finally said, pushing into the dagger and using her strength to get him off balance. Stumbling then, she lunged forward and sought to gain the upper hand as her prey was tripping over himself. In one swing her sword batted away his dagger from the one handed grip and it came around for one more attack for the shoulder of where an artery was located and that would mean certain death.

With a sickening crack, her sword had landed but not in such a way she had anticipated. From a downward slash that was aimed directly at open flesh, no armor, the blade was stopped dead on. It wasn't bone, as she did not pierce the flesh, it was thickened skin-like armor. Under the sword and on the ground, the man looked up at the Vampire and smiled as the dark red armor grotesquely began to cover his body like a giant blood-scab from the top of a head.

In short, he was hideous unlike his more handsome human self. It solved the question as to why she was attracted to the man's scent, how she picked him out so easily from a crowd. As a demon-blooded creature, he still had human blood as one of the dreaded Vestitors.

"Sorry sweet-heart, I am not fully human myself. So what are you!" He yelled out as his left arm was mutated through the means of the hideous skin armor. In a swift yet deadly jab, Nokomis shrieked in pain and felt red hot blood splatter out from just below her neck. There, buried into her flesh, were four finger claws belonging to the demon man. So close to her vitals, her regenerative factor saved her life many a time as already her form was healing itself.

Instead of retreating as her target would usually think, given that he dealt a nasty wound to her, Nokomis lifted her left hand. "I am a Servant of the Void!" She shouted out as the evil energy swirled around her fist and with a heavy jab, it connected to under the man's arm. An explosive impact shattered his elbow, her favored target and he too yowled in pain as she had and the monsterous arm went slack. Drawing upon her unnatural energy, Nokomis leaped back from a second attack and clutched her wound with her right hand and went to abandon the sword embedded in his flesh.

"Gah! My arm!" The man finally got up and steadied himself as his arm was still limp and in pain as blood dripped from the devastated wound caused by her yokai punch. 'You'll pay, no longer will--" The man didn't get a chance to finish as Nokomis formed a black energy blade composing like that of a bat's wing and she had regenerated her wound sufficient enough to combat her foe. In lightning quick exchanges, her and the man's energy and skin-claws collided on more than one occasion as the dueled it out in a conversation of nothing more than grunts and energy repelling each other.

In a last ditch effort, Nokomis charged her energy and unleashed a disturbing technique. She stepped through the shadows and transported herself a few meters behind the demon man who was struggling with the bloodied mist, confused and stunned at the odd nature of it. From the smell of her target however, the blood still dripping from his shattered elbow and her hunting instinct kicked in. From her vantage, the armor like skin began to crack, indicating his form has met its use and Nokomis moved forward, knees bent and torso bent forward as she prowled closer and closer.

By the time he had turned around, blinding by a mixture of shadow and bloody energy, his armor was starting to fail him as it began to chip away. 'N-No! Not now!" he yelled, begining to back away as he saw the vampire closing in for the kill. Having regained her blade, one leap from the ground and ran her sword clean through the man's stomach. This woman was no longer the one she appeared to be as a shadowy form cloaked her lithe body, carassing her and swirling around angrily as if some ungodly creature had been release from the depths of hell itself.

From the moment of impact, it was like a cannonball blasting away the rest of his armor and the man felt the fiery hot energy eat away at him. Lashing out and the two were slammed into a nearby wall from the inertia created from Nokomis' charge and her superhuman strength. By plunging him to the wall with the sword, it was like nailing a picture to a wall as the entire lower half of his torso was demolished to where it meant certain death. But somehow, he was still alive and screaming from the immense pain.

She licked her lips as her lust grew and the splattering of so much of his sickly sweet blood overloaded her, driving the vampiric woman to a sense of primal rage. Her ancient strength and consumed souls manifested itself in a demon like state, granting her such immense power. It was then with a single hand, she slammed her palm into her target's forehead and pushed it back with heavy force. This exposed his neck and she leaned in forward, drowning out his pained screams she paused for a moment.

Now I know who you are...Another Byron... One of my kin. All of you must die! Nokomis thought as she thought grimly, this eventful night would lead another step toward her genocide of the Byron. Biting into the neck, he was immediately silenced as the last bit of his life's blood was drained away. He twitched, convulsed and shook as his very soul was sucked away as death's embrace soon took him. No more pain, no more suffering... Forever to be trapped inside his assassin's body until her demise.

After an hour had passed, the guard had finally had the courage to come upon the scene to what had looked like a battlefield. Pinned to the wall was the demolished and mummy-like corpse of the Byron. Hands stapled to the wall with two crude pieces of iron and the heart staked with the sword, his head hung low while the neck was torn away and it looked as if a stream of blood flowed down. They reacted in terror at the blood spilled out over the metal ground and written within crude letters was a single sentence.

"For the Void."
